My mother demonized make-up. I had to learn by myself as an adult. Now I'm in my thirties and I still don't know how to apply eyeliner like this. Your tutorial gives me hope and inspired confidence! Last time I tried this look I looked like a depressed raccoon. But with your help I'll look like myself. Thank you! You got yourself a new subscriber.
I used this technique except the last brown eyeshadow step. And First time in my life my Kajal didn’t smudged at all although I have watery eyes. Thank you so much Smitha. Lots of love 💗
I swear i needed this... I get crap in the corner of my eyes throughout the day and my eyeliner always comes off... I've always wondered how some of these ladies keep thiers looking so nice... Thank you Smitha! ♡⚘
My eyeliner smudges mins after i put it on. I never even thought to set it with eyeshadow. I have very watery eyes. Thank you for the great tip as always ❤
@@SmithaDepakbut what about someone who has big rounded eyes like me when I apply the kajal on my lower lash line they become bigger unlike when I apply it on my waterline it makes my eyes smaller ( which is exactly what I want) and I love how they look like when I apply kajal inside my eyes. What should I do? Do you have any tips on how to apply kajal on waterline without smudging?😢
I’ve been doing the black eyeshadow over the eyeliner, but still ended up raccoon-y. Smitha to the rescue with this tutorial! I sweat, have oily eyelids, rub my eyes - basically do it all. Her method is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
Smitha... I used to do the exact same mistake of applying th kajal 'on/in the waterline' instead of lash line, as you have shown. I saw you explaining this in one of the recent videos and started using close to lash line. Oh what a world of difference it made! It stays put 90% even when I'm not following these additional steps in this video. It does move a bit to skin/folds below eyes due to sweating. But very slightly. Not like before, when it would disappear in 2 hours! Now I'm gonna try this make it bulletproof ❤
Thank you so much for this!! Perfect advice for anyone who suffers from Hay-fever/allergies (like me) with unexpected eye watering making eyeliner a distant memory. Thanks again Smitha and greetings from Australia 🇦🇺 xx
Oh my dear, you read my mind! I love wearing Kajal whole day, but ending up with black clots/spots in the inner corner within an hour which I've never seen in anyone, real or in videos. really frustrating! I Was really looking for a tip to stop this. Let me try. Thank you soooo much Smitha..... ❤
Yes I saw one of your older videos that explains this. I switched to the Essence pencil and put eye shadow on top. Not a single smudge. And I live in NE OK, it's 100 percent humid a lot of the time. This works 💯. Ty for an updated video!
I have made comment before and I can't stop giving enough credits to this vlog.I had everything when I saw this vlog, and yet I bought COLORPOP 's pressed powder let's do it, cloud nine, private party. and from amazon 26mm empty eyeshadow palette . amazing experience. it stays for such a long time, I don't wear a lots of makeup in daily life when I go out for casual dinner or so. just eyeliner and lipstick. and smitha's vlog worked so well for me!
Wonderful advice! I'm going to experiment this weekend and see if I can get this to work. I have dark undereye circles which are difficult to cover no matter what technique I use, and lining my lower lash line invariably caused the dark color to drift down and emphasize my dark circles even more. Thank you!
@Surbhi Mundada If using the traditional colour correction options don't work for you (like orange or yellow, to combat blue & purple undertones), then have you tried a peach colour corrector instead? Then apply concealer/ foundation in your actual skin tone colour over the top of the concealer.
I will definitely try this Smitha, thank you. Would love a video on concealer if you have time. My problem - no matter what shade I use (skin tone, lighter, darker) no matter how many layers of it I use (too many go cakey), I can't cover my dark circles. They still look the same after using concealer. Your face always looks like one perfect shade when you've finished, even under your eyes so any tips on that would be so welcome 🙏🙂
That's fantastic, I've got watery eyes so I can't wait to try. One question setting the eyelid with powder as well, will your eyeshadow hold just as well ? Even over a primer?
Weirdly enough, my eyes tend to water and smudge more below the outer corner. Especially if I do a wing it becomes visible throughout the day. I will try to set it more with powder as described and see how it goes 😊
Hi! It also can be that you are sensitive to something in the formula! I had this problem too until I changed brands. I've tried urban decay eyeliners, for example, and they always made my eyes water, even when the eyeliner was out of waterline. Then I changed to a national brand from my home country (only for the eyeliner), and it doesn't smudge anymore.
This is seriously great tip.. I am gonna try this 100%.. so much knowledge on information in a small procedure like science !! Thanks Smitha for always comin up with somethin great ..
Hi smitha Thank you for sharing this video. I did the same mistakes as you said and used to end up in smudging look after a while. It was frustrating. Hi Smitha! I love this makeup look so much! I have hooded eyes too, but I love smokey eye makeup, so your makeup tutorials are very helpful. Can you please make a tutorial on dark feminine makeup, because I love that look too 🥰
Very nice tutorial… I am from Delhi and you whether is hot here but my question is that people like me who do not apply any foundation or concealer on daily basis and have sunken eyes or little dark circle… smudging the Kajal underneath makes the eye circle look more darker… how to fix that… plz help
Thanks I'll try this! I hate it when I have nice makeup in the morning then look in the mirror mid afternoon with eyeliner or mascara smudged under my eyes. So embarrassing.
Thank you so much Smitha! Your videos are excellent! Will definitely try. But I am a mature lady so is it unavailable to wear eyeliner on the lower lashline? And because my eyes are hooded in the outer corners my upper eyeliner always smudges on my outer lower corner so I look like a racoon because of my oily lids. But if they were too dry they would look crapey. Any advice?

Try dabbing a little loose powder on first, then concealer, then loose powder to set
Have you tried color correction
THIS LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE OMGOMG!! I showered and it didn’t come off (I used makeup remover)
That's fantastic, I've got watery eyes so I can't wait to try. One question setting the eyelid with powder as well, will your eyeshadow hold just as well ? Even over a primer?
yes, if its just a light dust, pretty much what you need
I do this always and before putting kajal I wipe off moisture on my kajal area with cloth or tissue . It helps 😊
I've been watching your videos all day (at work) and they are all great tutorials! Thanks!
Weirdly enough, my eyes tend to water and smudge more below the outer corner. Especially if I do a wing it becomes visible throughout the day.
I will try to set it more with powder as described and see how it goes 😊
in that case, don't take it all the way to the outer corner, you can leave a small gap❣
