Just a thought..maybe you should turn the heater on in side the car ..have it on toward the feet....or leave the door open for few hours so the heat from outside will help... anyway.. Happy New Years to both of you..hope for a blessing year

Best option is to remove side rails and lift up carpet so it can dry
May take 3-4 days or more to dry

I think you need to lift the carpet and vacuum out the water underneath and make sure it’s completely dry. Eventhough you think it’s dry at the top but there still be some water left at the bottom. If not your carpet might smell bad, mold and maybe the metal rusty.

Hey, I don't really understand why you want to solve your car problem with towels and a hairdryer. Just place some rice on your rubber mat (remove the other mat) and you will see in no time your problem will be solved. Also best wishes for Julie in 2024 and many more vlogs😊

As a person who has a car with a leaking sunroof, I know how to handle this one. Shop vac to pull water from under the carpet followed by running a dehumidifier for several hours. If water is left behind, you’re probably looking at growing mold.

I have a Toyota Tundra.
The water is entering thru the vent holes below the wipers.
2 causes .
Leaking from
AC blower motor under passenger side or thru the plastic gromets inside vent which was in my case.
When it rains the water goes inside the vent channels.
The water is getting inside because the plastic gromets that snap in are not sealing .I had to apply marine silicone and re insert plastic gromets on loose gromets.
Then test by spraying water on windshield.
No more wet carpet
You can find videos on UA-cam as I did.
Good luck.
Use a wet vacuum to suck up as much water from carpet then air out the car.
The wife is right again 😅😅😅❤. Lol
