I love the idea that every time Optimus Prime says "freedom is the right of all sentient beings" he is quoting Megatron. It screams to me that even until the very end that Prime still wants Megatron to return to his former self and once again be a good man, and his best mate.
Well decepticons doing good deeds is like seeing a eclipse, it’s pretty rare, same with the autobots doing bad things since most of the bad actions are in the comics, but the cons still got a kill count of over 100 billion people in those comics anyway
It’s because of the different standards of the two factions. Like, if you go to a Chick-fil-A and they get all your food wrong, it’s more significant than if you go to Wendy’s and they get your food right (at least in my experience).
Megatron actually recognizing the Decepticons had become what they sought to destroy and switching sides in response is an incredible character moment, and I think there's something fascinating about how many of the Decepticons could've been great people if not for how unfair a society they were born into.
Nah a lot of decisions they made later down the line were definitely of their own accord and not as a result of their society (the organic genocides and cyberforming, killing cybertron or using it to destroy the universe, the death camps and destroying their own cities), besides we’ve seen them be in the same situation but still they still kept their morals intact (shattered glass)
And it’s hard to imagine how much they’d be willing to risk given the centuries or even millennia they spent in bondage. In a lot of cases their best way out was death by an accident.
There is the famous IDW storyline where Prowl time travels back and kills Megatron before being born. This alternate universe gives rise to a Functionist Cybertron where the law of function was absolute. It was a very ghastly and horrible world. More so , after killing Tarn , the Lost Light crew meets a time traveller who had stolen one of Necrobot's cases in a bid to save his friend. Upon encountering him ,Megatron offers to go with him to a pre war cybertron and doesn't resort to violence this time to make change but use his words and ideas which leads to a age of peace and equality , immortalising him as the greatest leader on Cybertron to have ever existed.
You're a little off. its Brainstorm who goes back in time. and he invented the time travel briefcase. and the Necrobot would later acquire one of them himself. which he then used to rescue bots that disappeared from history.

Megatron may not have been the Hero of the IDW continuity, but he sure was the Protagonist. The story (when read in chronological order) started with him, and ended with him. As for Megatron's other noble deeds, in both Armada's and Energon's final episodes (as well as Prime Wars), Megatron sacrificed his life to put an end to Unicron. Unfortunately this just ended up making him stronger in the long game...
Honestly yes I believe megatron would have become the greatest leader surpassing every prime. He initially stood for many great things honor, respect, hard work, the idea that everyone deserves to have bodily autonomy and freedom of choice. He was loyal and wasn’t to above hearing other opinions and challenging his own to better himself. If it weren’t for shockwave twisting him and his mental break I think he would have had the entire planet at peace and running smoothly.
That and his over-inflated ego. Regardless of Shockwave's meddling or not, if Megatron was willing to co-lead Cybertron with Optimus as brothers instead of war then maybe both together could've sparked a new legacy of Prime lineage.

See when I tell people Thundercracker is my favorite Transformers character they think it’s weird, but this video is proof that Thundercracker is actually an under appreciated character in Transformers. (Also he was the original design for the G1 jet, yes Starscream was originally a recolor of Thundercracker.)
IDW was the only time writers remembered that Thundercracker was on the fence about the Decepticon cause from the beginning. He wasn't just following orders without reason, as stated in the original profile and biography for TC. *Thundercracker is not entirely convinced of the Decepticon cause, especially when it puts innocent lives in danger, but his need for meaning in his life allows him to be persuaded to stay.* It's cool when people look back on small details to write a character with more life and personality. Also the dog gives extra points.
To my knowledge, the two Diaclone toys that became Starscream and Thundercracker (the Jet Machine Robos Fighter Type and Acrobat type, respectively) were originally released at the same time, which suggests they were designed together, not recolors of one another. If one wants to be extra pedantic, the Fighter Type's listed as D-69, while the Acrobat type's D-70, which implies the Starscream one came first. Skywarp and the Rainmakers are the recolors of the mold.
I'm shocked that you didn't mention Megatron's deeds and character in Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy, where not only did he work with "the good guys" but ultimately sacrificed himself to not be controlled by the Unicron Matrix!

I think my own personal gripe with Megatron turning good in IDW is that some continuities, it could definitely work, but I think IDW really shot itself in the foot when it came to “All Hail Megatron”. Like, Megatron being forgiven for that along with all the atrocities he committed, is like the Earth forgiving Zeon for dropping a colony on Australia and killing half of humanity in the One Year War in Mobile Suit Gundam.
Except he was never forgiven, he made amends to have a legacy beyond his years as a warmonger and reconciled with his past self so he could die at peace, but he still ended up on trial and was most likely executed in the end.
In fairness, wasn't it always fellow Cybertronians who granted Megatron amnesty? Optimus, the Lost Light crew... I can't recall any time the comic had Earthlings forgiving him. It's been a while, but I remember all of post-redemption Megatron's adventures taking place in outer space, never Earth.

@@2bdaqueen268 Basically. After bots started vanishing (We later find out quantum duplicates can't share the same space, and one of them vanishes), people started accusing Megatron of doing it. Since Rodimus's duplicate corpse was assumed to be from the future, it was Megatron who volunteers to isolate himself because he has no idea what he may do in the future. Ravage was locked up before him, and they had a heart to heart where Megs admits he realized his needling of Prime by pretending to be a monster was genuine. As Megs said, if the world thinks you're a monster it doesn't matter, they are wrong. But if YOU think it, there's a problem. And fun fact, even after all of his character development, Megs was still unable to open a Matrix (Not THE Matrix, but one of several mass produced versions). Even Whirl opened one! Mr. homicide, the bot who desecrated corpses and almost got Tailgate killed while trying to off Cyclonus, managed a better heel/face turn then Megatron. 😀

That’s the funny thing about whirl, his character development was getting him to care about others and to be more than a psychopath that actually wants to live.
Megatron is an incredible character that I'm absolutely certain would be *ahem* revolutionary in popular media if only anyone outside of the comics would write an actually interesting script for the Transformers. The castle system of the autobots, the ascenticon revolution, the insidious corruption of the movement by gods favorite villain Shockwave, it's just all so amazing, it really only needs a thoughtful writer to tell a truly epic story of fighting for freedom, losing yourself in paranoia, yet finding redemption through unwavering friends in the end
That's my biggest gripe with the Bayformers. There is so much exceptional source material to work off of. Yet it's all reduced to a mindless brawl, characters are butchered... I don't know, it's like having enormous potential and just refusing to realize it

Didn't Megatron also get his mind screwed with by Froid or some other Mnemosurgeon, and then get assaulted by Whirl's crazy ass? If I'm remembering that right, then Megs might've never become the tyrant he did without those triggering events, on top of all the bullshit with the senate and them screwing over his entire caste during that period. Personally, if Megatron had only elected to wipe out the ruling council/the senate (I can't remember what was more corrupt), and the top brass of their enforcement arm; and made one of his first goals to reverse any truly unjustified cases of Empurata or abolishing the caste system, he'd get my endorsement for Prime status no question. For all we know, those were his original plans before the war warped whatever good ideals he had behind his actions.
I really like soundwave when he turn to ash asking for everyone to help Optimus I got up from my sit and drink a bottle of vodka and wine just like when starscream die by Unicron in transformers armata
Gotta admit the panel with the spirits of the many beloved (and some not so beloved) dead characters coming together to greet him into the afterlife made me tear up
The Beast Wars TV show was my childhood, and while the animation hasn't aged well it still holds up well in the story department. And Dinobots last stand was the best thing 12 year old me had ever seen
A lot of these moments are great writing. Not just because of the specifics of the events themselves, but because they make characters in the Transformers setting(s) a lot more complex, and not just the purely white and black "Autobots = Good & Decepticons = Bad". Even when they don't have big self sacrifice and or redemption moments, they still show this sort of thing when the brotherhood and love they have for one another when a fellow Decepticon dies is on display.
18:30 Honestly I kind of liek the idea of Unicron being Earth, it means they have to deal with this threat in more creative ways. Having Unicron be just a planet bot traveling through space devouring planets means they can beat him in a rather simple way, either by just using the Matrix to destroy him, or by using enough firepower to destroy him, sure he may not truely be dead, but he's less of a threat with his body destroyed. But being Earth you can't just destroy him, as Earth is our home planet, no Human would want to see it detroyed for any reason, even if we could be all evacuated off the planet in time. BEing Earth it means the Transformers have to get more creative, liek in Prime they teamed up with Megatron who would guide them and used the Ground Bridge to go to the core of the Earth inside Unicron, and THEN Optimus unleashed the power of the Matrix directly at Unicron's spark, which either snuffed it out or just caused him to go dormant, sure his Anti-spark the counterpart to Primus's Allspark later rvived Megatron and used him as a vessel in Predacons Rising, but still it was creative how they dealt with him in Prime, heck I'd say Unicron was more interesting in this style then normal, as Unicron was causing massive natural disasters as he was waking up, they had limited time to act, and Unicron could even create expendable smaller avatars of himself just from the Earth's crust, meaning even if he didn't awake, he could attack the Autobots anywhere on Earth. Unicron in Prime was pretty awesome. Hopefully some day when they use Unicron as his own body and not Earth that we can see Primus transform and actually physically fight Unicron in their bot forms. A Planet Bot fight would be so cool to see animated.
I'll say this right here that continuity of megatron I say screams the trope that Vader screams. Basically that megatron was the result of the world he lived in, that megatron indirectly made optimus prime, it was his thoughts and opinions that slowly turned orion pax into optimus prime. Though yeah I think if he didnt fall to madness he might have made a good leader and a great prime
The worst part about starscream in the all hail megatron/IDW series is that he *could* have saved them. The issues were mostly from infighting and not listening to starscream. He payed for their incompetence.
That story about starscream actually becoming leader and earning his title is pretty sad. He even tries to make a few good decisions by not mind controlling his troops, which I know sounds like a “good job for not doing a horrible crime” sentence but instead it shows that version of starscream here wanted respect and a real army that followed him willingly, not a mind controlled zombie army. Regardless he fucks up bad, and Megatron abuses the dude harder than I have ever seen starscrem ever abused. Not in the usual “haha starscream gets hit and abused for being an ass” no, legit it’s just torture here, not even truly deserved to that degree, but I guess Megatron probably just sees it as “starscream took my army and ruined them”.

To drop one more bit for Megatron, at the end of Armada, after Starscream's sacrifice brings the two armies together for once, Megatron and Optimus start to bicker over whose vision for things will prevail after Unicron is defeated. At the end, Megatron realizes that, because of his heart, well, spark's darkness, Unicron is able to function in the universe (as he is effectively powered by forces of evil within the universe), and that Unicron cannot be truly stopped while he remains functional. This leads to him sacrificing himself, his ambition, his power, everything he had done or planned, so that the universe can be safe from Unicron. When you think about how avidly he rules his Decepticons, and that he willingly gave up leadership over them (effectively turning them over to Optimus for leadership), it definitely speaks to just how much Starscream's own sacrifice changed him. And to think that the last thing he said was 'Goodbye' to Optimus.
i’d just like to say that Megatron’s time as an Autobot is the single greatest character arc in comic book history. it’s such an absolutely ridiculous idea that, to me, worked out so well i couldn’t believe it when i was reading Lost Light monthly.
In my school vr game thundercracker most heroic moment is during the event of awakening of the trailblazers he assisted celestial being in the fight against the els and ultimately was accidentally heavily by the gundam zabayna and megatron he and I'm not joking agreed to assist with the decepticons in the assault of the unicorn fortress
Megatron would've been a revolutionary, a legend, worshipped for countless generations... ... If he hadn't given in to his lust for power. If he had refrained, and kept in mind the greater good, he would've been a god. Optimus himself agreed with him, and even defended him, but the corrupt council at the time refused to listen. It's to be argued that Optimus doesn't deserve to be a Prime. That the only reason he is, is due to the corruption wanting to perpetuate the status quo. Perhaps Megatron couldve... Or, even should've... Been the next Prime after all.

The Shattered Glass version of Megatron confirms the what if scenario of what if Megatron never turned evil, although in that universe Optimus Prime became evil instead.
Its pretty admirable that when Megatron was being repaired, he tried to earn leadership through respect and willingness, but then it all fell apart. This guy can not catch a break.

It says something when the first two listings are public persuasion for deceptions and the third is mainly about saving their own collective chassis and humans just luck out with being saved too. On a list of most noble deeds. Edit: Some Megatrons may start as heroes and even return to being ones, but even they spent so very long as villains. Doing things like putting down the DJD after already telling your forces to cease your war that long stopped being just is a very good thing, but it is only part of the road of penance. Though with how long Cybertronians live, he may be able to properly make amends, if those scales can ever truly be balanced back to neutral or weigh towards good.

Honestly, starscream is a tragic character, but there are so many iterations, and the story can easily be derailed. But, I still think he is one of the most complex characters in the franchise.

As good as Armada Starscream was, I don't think he quite hits Dinobot's tier. Main thing holding him back in my eye is that the show kinda rushed through his time with the Autobots, and we only see him form a bond with the kids (the only one of which that matters being Alexis). Had he stayed with the Autobots longer and we got to see him bond with the entire team, that probably would put him on Dinobot's level in my eyes.
Honestly always loved that Megatron is the hero thing. It messes with my friend sense he loves optimus prime so much. Him breaking down a corrupt government an in the end became corrupt is just beautiful.
Speaking of Decepticons, Megatron is hopping onto Death Battle Against Dragonball's Frieza with him being a Composited G1 "which includes both his IDW and Marvel Comic appearances as well as the G1 Cartoon"
We're so far deep down the hole that "refused to nuke the Earth" is considered noble for some cons That ending reminds me of somewhere I read that stories are ultimately not about the hero, but the antagonist. I really like Megatron for his development of rising up and putting himself on the line for a noble ideal, only to then descend into tyranny. "You became what you were fighting" is a pretty common line, but it's very true of him. His is a great story of losing yourself in search of your ambitions. I'm still getting around to reading the IDW series where he decides to atone, and I'm very much looking forward to it. Megatron of all cons turning to the Autobots' side is such a nonsensical idea for most of the franchise that I really, really want to see what they've done with it.
2:19 i don't think the Autobots in RID 2001 were tricked. Because having them do very menial things that are very annoying was probably their only way to get them to crack. Heck Skybite and his Predecons actually do those types of jobs volunteerily and were honest about it so I guess they just went overkill on the test.

I think my own personal gripe with Megatron turning good in IDW is that some continuities, it could definitely work, but I think IDW really shot itself in the foot when it came to “All Hail Megatron”. Like, Megatron being forgiven for that along with all the atrocities he committed, is like the Earth forgiving Zeon for dropping a colony on Australia and killing half of humanity in the One Year War in Mobile Suit Gundam.
Zeon is low key kind of the US fighting the British in the revolution.
Just with more devastating tactics available to them.
Except he was never forgiven, he made amends to have a legacy beyond his years as a warmonger and reconciled with his past self so he could die at peace, but he still ended up on trial and was most likely executed in the end.
In fairness, wasn't it always fellow Cybertronians who granted Megatron amnesty? Optimus, the Lost Light crew... I can't recall any time the comic had Earthlings forgiving him. It's been a while, but I remember all of post-redemption Megatron's adventures taking place in outer space, never Earth.

Briefly put, in the IDW continuity, when Megatron was starting the uprising in a not so violent way, he got imprisoned, and Whirl beat him to a pulp. That's the event that really cemented the idea that the whole system was corrupted for Megs. It's more of a symbolic moment

When Megatron says he'd commit genocide on an industrial scale for pure pleasure, he was lying. At that moment, he was trying to provoke Optimus Prime.
I think somewhere later down the line, in his Autobot part of his life, he was debating whether or not he really lied when he said that
Megs really feared that, for him, violence was addictive. He nearly cracked over the DJD event and only Terminus' reappearance stopped him going off the rails again, remember?
I’m pretty sure in his conversation with ravage he admitted that as soon as the words left his mouth he realized he meant it, and finally acknowledged that he was a monster.
@@2bdaqueen268 Basically. After bots started vanishing (We later find out quantum duplicates can't share the same space, and one of them vanishes), people started accusing Megatron of doing it. Since Rodimus's duplicate corpse was assumed to be from the future, it was Megatron who volunteers to isolate himself because he has no idea what he may do in the future. Ravage was locked up before him, and they had a heart to heart where Megs admits he realized his needling of Prime by pretending to be a monster was genuine. As Megs said, if the world thinks you're a monster it doesn't matter, they are wrong. But if YOU think it, there's a problem.
And fun fact, even after all of his character development, Megs was still unable to open a Matrix (Not THE Matrix, but one of several mass produced versions).
Even Whirl opened one! Mr. homicide, the bot who desecrated corpses and almost got Tailgate killed while trying to off Cyclonus, managed a better heel/face turn then Megatron. 😀

Megatron is an incredible character that I'm absolutely certain would be *ahem* revolutionary in popular media if only anyone outside of the comics would write an actually interesting script for the Transformers. The castle system of the autobots, the ascenticon revolution, the insidious corruption of the movement by gods favorite villain Shockwave, it's just all so amazing, it really only needs a thoughtful writer to tell a truly epic story of fighting for freedom, losing yourself in paranoia, yet finding redemption through unwavering friends in the end
That's my biggest gripe with the Bayformers. There is so much exceptional source material to work off of. Yet it's all reduced to a mindless brawl, characters are butchered... I don't know, it's like having enormous potential and just refusing to realize it
Starscream is awesome, I love every version of him. And by the way you called Soundwave Shockwave a few times. XD And no matter how good Megatron goes I'll never forgive him for his treatment of Starscream.

Man Thundercracker’s character in IDW is why he is one of my favorite Decepticons in Transformers
13:25 the lovable dog Buster in a bowtie and showing pride and love for his master Thundercrcker.
I loved the dinky spacesuit he sourced for her (yes, Buster is a girl).
Didn't Megatron also get his mind screwed with by Froid or some other Mnemosurgeon, and then get assaulted by Whirl's crazy ass? If I'm remembering that right, then Megs might've never become the tyrant he did without those triggering events, on top of all the bullshit with the senate and them screwing over his entire caste during that period. Personally, if Megatron had only elected to wipe out the ruling council/the senate (I can't remember what was more corrupt), and the top brass of their enforcement arm; and made one of his first goals to reverse any truly unjustified cases of Empurata or abolishing the caste system, he'd get my endorsement for Prime status no question. For all we know, those were his original plans before the war warped whatever good ideals he had behind his actions.
And this all happened because of a straw.
I really like soundwave when he turn to ash asking for everyone to help Optimus I got up from my sit and drink a bottle of vodka and wine just like when starscream die by Unicron in transformers armata
Gotta admit the panel with the spirits of the many beloved (and some not so beloved) dead characters coming together to greet him into the afterlife made me tear up

A lot of these moments are great writing. Not just because of the specifics of the events themselves, but because they make characters in the Transformers setting(s) a lot more complex, and not just the purely white and black "Autobots = Good & Decepticons = Bad". Even when they don't have big self sacrifice and or redemption moments, they still show this sort of thing when the brotherhood and love they have for one another when a fellow Decepticon dies is on display.
18:30 Honestly I kind of liek the idea of Unicron being Earth, it means they have to deal with this threat in more creative ways. Having Unicron be just a planet bot traveling through space devouring planets means they can beat him in a rather simple way, either by just using the Matrix to destroy him, or by using enough firepower to destroy him, sure he may not truely be dead, but he's less of a threat with his body destroyed. But being Earth you can't just destroy him, as Earth is our home planet, no Human would want to see it detroyed for any reason, even if we could be all evacuated off the planet in time. BEing Earth it means the Transformers have to get more creative, liek in Prime they teamed up with Megatron who would guide them and used the Ground Bridge to go to the core of the Earth inside Unicron, and THEN Optimus unleashed the power of the Matrix directly at Unicron's spark, which either snuffed it out or just caused him to go dormant, sure his Anti-spark the counterpart to Primus's Allspark later rvived Megatron and used him as a vessel in Predacons Rising, but still it was creative how they dealt with him in Prime, heck I'd say Unicron was more interesting in this style then normal, as Unicron was causing massive natural disasters as he was waking up, they had limited time to act, and Unicron could even create expendable smaller avatars of himself just from the Earth's crust, meaning even if he didn't awake, he could attack the Autobots anywhere on Earth. Unicron in Prime was pretty awesome. Hopefully some day when they use Unicron as his own body and not Earth that we can see Primus transform and actually physically fight Unicron in their bot forms. A Planet Bot fight would be so cool to see animated.
I'll say this right here that continuity of megatron I say screams the trope that Vader screams. Basically that megatron was the result of the world he lived in, that megatron indirectly made optimus prime, it was his thoughts and opinions that slowly turned orion pax into optimus prime. Though yeah I think if he didnt fall to madness he might have made a good leader and a great prime
The worst part about starscream in the all hail megatron/IDW series is that he *could* have saved them. The issues were mostly from infighting and not listening to starscream.

That story about starscream actually becoming leader and earning his title is pretty sad. He even tries to make a few good decisions by not mind controlling his troops, which I know sounds like a “good job for not doing a horrible crime” sentence but instead it shows that version of starscream here wanted respect and a real army that followed him willingly, not a mind controlled zombie army. Regardless he fucks up bad, and Megatron abuses the dude harder than I have ever seen starscrem ever abused. Not in the usual “haha starscream gets hit and abused for being an ass” no, legit it’s just torture here, not even truly deserved to that degree, but I guess Megatron probably just sees it as “starscream took my army and ruined them”.
Dinobot sacrificing himself in Beast Wars to keep Megatron from destroying humanity's early ancestors was a really noble moment.

To drop one more bit for Megatron, at the end of Armada, after Starscream's sacrifice brings the two armies together for once, Megatron and Optimus start to bicker over whose vision for things will prevail after Unicron is defeated. At the end, Megatron realizes that, because of his heart, well, spark's darkness, Unicron is able to function in the universe (as he is effectively powered by forces of evil within the universe), and that Unicron cannot be truly stopped while he remains functional. This leads to him sacrificing himself, his ambition, his power, everything he had done or planned, so that the universe can be safe from Unicron. When you think about how avidly he rules his Decepticons, and that he willingly gave up leadership over them (effectively turning them over to Optimus for leadership), it definitely speaks to just how much Starscream's own sacrifice changed him. And to think that the last thing he said was 'Goodbye' to Optimus.
i’d just like to say that Megatron’s time as an Autobot is the single greatest character arc in comic book history. it’s such an absolutely ridiculous idea that, to me, worked out so well i couldn’t believe it when i was reading Lost Light monthly.
That altenate reality where good and evil sides are reversed, sounds interesting. I wonder what that Megatron is like.

Optimus himself agreed with him, and even defended him, but the corrupt council at the time refused to listen.
It's to be argued that Optimus doesn't deserve to be a Prime. That the only reason he is, is due to the corruption wanting to perpetuate the status quo.
Perhaps Megatron couldve... Or, even should've... Been the next Prime after all.

The Shattered Glass version of Megatron confirms the what if scenario of what if Megatron never turned evil, although in that universe Optimus Prime became evil instead.

It says something when the first two listings are public persuasion for deceptions and the third is mainly about saving their own collective chassis and humans just luck out with being saved too. On a list of most noble deeds.
Edit: Some Megatrons may start as heroes and even return to being ones, but even they spent so very long as villains. Doing things like putting down the DJD after already telling your forces to cease your war that long stopped being just is a very good thing, but it is only part of the road of penance. Though with how long Cybertronians live, he may be able to properly make amends, if those scales can ever truly be balanced back to neutral or weigh towards good.
I’ll alway see megatron as a hero who fell to his own rage who did the right thing but was eventually corrupted twisting the original meaning of his purpose
If you ask me, the amount of loyalty Soundwave shows to Megatron makes me think that Soundwave was Megatron's best friend before the war started.
Honestly, starscream is a tragic character, but there are so many iterations, and the story can easily be derailed.
But, I still think he is one of the most complex characters in the franchise.

As great a character as Armada Starscream was, I can't help but feel that they just wanted to recreate the success of the Beast Wars character Dinobot when they wrote him 🤔
As good as Armada Starscream was, I don't think he quite hits Dinobot's tier. Main thing holding him back in my eye is that the show kinda rushed through his time with the Autobots, and we only see him form a bond with the kids (the only one of which that matters being Alexis). Had he stayed with the Autobots longer and we got to see him bond with the entire team, that probably would put him on Dinobot's level in my eyes.

That ending reminds me of somewhere I read that stories are ultimately not about the hero, but the antagonist. I really like Megatron for his development of rising up and putting himself on the line for a noble ideal, only to then descend into tyranny. "You became what you were fighting" is a pretty common line, but it's very true of him. His is a great story of losing yourself in search of your ambitions.
I'm still getting around to reading the IDW series where he decides to atone, and I'm very much looking forward to it. Megatron of all cons turning to the Autobots' side is such a nonsensical idea for most of the franchise that I really, really want to see what they've done with it.

2:19 i don't think the Autobots in RID 2001 were tricked. Because having them do very menial things that are very annoying was probably their only way to get them to crack. Heck Skybite and his Predecons actually do those types of jobs volunteerily and were honest about it so I guess they just went overkill on the test.
