- Jeep Crank No Start
We’re working in the shop today; the Comanche is not running and needs some love. After troubleshooting the crank no start, we found the problem with distributor rotor broke apart, since we were working in the engine, we also did a tune up on her.

Check oil first make sure crank case ain't full of gas oil mix???
Wish my sons Cherokee was this easy to resolve the crank, start. Been fighting it for over 6 months to figure it out and still don’t have it running.
Same here. 3 mechanics later still crank/no start.
Any code in computer? May kick a Code 0320 maybe not. Replace crankshaft position sensor. They go bad. Use OEM part.
1:42 the either bunny took it
Got a 1995, in the same position crank/no start.
It sat for a year or so before i got it.
So far i have replaced the distributor and rotor, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel pump fuse, new battery (old one was doa), and all 6 spark plugs. Even though all of that didnt work to start it still needed it.
A pretty hard newbie over here, anyone got any ideas?
I would replace the crank position sensor.. it is a very common problem ... look up a video on how to test and replace it ... I'm sure you'll find some here on UA-cam... good luck
Try wiggling the wire harness to the top left of the valve cover gasket. Mine cranks but as soon as I wiggle while somone cranks it will fire right up.
Cps
Omg, look at that already
I figured it had to be the cap and button as soon as I saw no spark after testing the coil
