Before learning about any of this, experience deemed it necessary to take notes, set alarms and all that (especially for things regarding self-care). But what happens when you get to the point where your notes need notes and your reminders need reminders? Like I forget to check reminders and notes are only as good as remembering to read and reread every once in a while. Super important for me because I’ve noticed that if I don’t reread what I’ve written over time, I forget entire chunks of my life and it’s hard to get an accurate picture of how I’ve grown or haven’t throughout the years and who I am. When I don’t maintain a strong sense of that, I find myself becoming easily moldeable into my environment or the people around me. I know that sounds strange but it’s sort of hard to explain. Sorry. Trying to create routines for myself helps but they are dreadful and a killjoy to others around me. Any pointers?
"Ti child is constantly chewing chewing chewing. and if it's not chewing on something it is looking for something to chew on"...….smashed that like button!
This was great to listen to! Fixing my environment is exactly what's it's been all about the past years. Went from city house to forest vanlife. Switched my social circles.
Overstimulation really messes me up. Also inconsistency from others also makes me Hella paranoid and therefore I'm just miserable until I get a " positive reaction" (validation or reassurance) from the person causing the inconsistency
Thanks for this video. Any lingering doubts I had about my best fit type were single-handedly eliminated by your explanation of my trickster fx. It almost made me tear up bc something terrible happened in my childhood as a result of my trickster fx that forced me to develop it at that early age. Trauma can most definitely force someone to develop their trickster fx, at least that was the case for me. Talk about hard lessons; still haunts me to this day which basically means I can over-do it when it comes to using my trickster fx. I was also able to confirm my therapist's type through this video.
I'm not going to be paralysed into inaction just because you suggest I sit back and try to calculate every possible butterfly-effect outcome. Meet the challenge and be like water, is the superior advice coming from Robert Greene.
This is indeed very insightful as soul templars influence my shadow while mind templars influence my super ego. This provides a better understanding of the flow of cognitive transition, in my opinion.
Externalize the child/trickster to gain perspective over it. I like this idea. I do use notes and pictures a lot mainly to keep Se/Si references, I’ll see how I can use them for the Trickster (Te). Reminders however, I have them on but I use them just for awareness on what I was supposed to do, I feel a STRONG resistance to obey my own reminders 😅 I mostly like to laugh at them. Ni takes a special pleasure in breaking a Si expected pattern 😈 even when I see the consequences of it. I found it the cutest thing that you’d kiss your own shoulder! 😁
How can I encourage an ISTP to think of the consequences of his actions (or to provide my NE hero input on what consequences i forsee) without being critical or controlling?
I'm an ISTP. I think the easiest thing to do for that situation is to trigger our Se Parent. If I know that the way I usually handle things are hurting other people in the process, then I feel somewhat taken aback and think of new ways of it myself. Unless we know that our actions makes you guys (Si users) uncomfortable, we'll never adjust accordingly. If you could even show us disdain, just whatever could strike Fe inferior, it would have a greater impact.
Raka, you are such a great teacher! I really enjoy how relatable you are. I've been wondering if you expend a lot of energy doing these videos. You are by yourself, and you seem to come across focused and direct in your delivery. Do you feel like you dip into your shadow when you're in teaching mode?
They do cost a good deal of energy for me to keep organized, it's still quite chaotic by my own standards so I'm really glad to hear others are still enjoying it. To answer your question, I am trying to use my subconscious when doing content videos, but its difficult, and I usually bounce back to my shadow.
@@christaylorraka4053 I do value the hard work you do put in. For it's having a positive impact. I feel comfortable and secure with the wisdom you bring, and the way in which you bring it. It is helping me iprove much faster. The approach with kindness and understanding, it is so deeply appreciated. Thank you for all of that Chris. ❤🔥
Yes but you're not always forced to ask in every situation. When the issue isn't about relationships, you can just do research for the factual answers that you need online or books and so on cause the argument is more general. The positive to this habit is that it makes you a very knowledgeable person, cause you were forced to be, who can also apply logical reasoning very well.
But I think the video primarily applies to ESTPs and ISTPs right? Chris gives the vibe of a Se user. Because things like seeing the relation between seemingly unrelated things happening, understanding the consequences of your actions and the Domino effects of other people's actions are quite easy for INFJs and ENFJs on the contrary. Also being a Ni user surprisingly gives a rather good long term memory but poor short term memory, which is probably what Se provides instead (I assume). The rest applies though.
Haha I appreciate you looking out, but its not that the beard bothers me, I just fidget when uncomfortable. My face is just what I happen to fidget with often times. It's a sensory comfort thing
Aka “show me your friends and I’ll show you your future”
Fantastic point
@@christaylorraka4053 can you give an example of accommodation for legacy ?

Great video ❤- thank you (ENFP here, engaged to INFJ)

for sure i cant think in clutter
Do similar type of videos for all the quadras
I urge you to research socionics and the demonstrative function aka “critic” in particular.
When you say te is input are you saying ti eats te because if so I’m struggling to see how that makes sense
I guess Si is tracking how one feels
I think that's more Fi tho. If my memory is correct, Si would be 'your personal experience'.
Thank you (:
Great video Chris! Are you an ENFP like myself?
Yeah
