- Many Yu-Gi-Oh players often wonder if a Magic the Gathering player would actually have better luck opening Yu-Gi-Oh packs! Larry traveled to meet the Professor from @TolarianCommunityCollege and visit a card shop to buy new cards and hopefully make a profit! We've got the new 2022 Tin of the Pharaoh’s Gods and more packs to try to pull some rare and valuable cards!

The professor is like a supportive parental figure who has no idea what his children are into but supports none the less.

As someone who hasn't really played Yu-Gi-Oh! Since about the GX Era; has only sort of started playing the more recent video games and getting a feel for the modern Era, but is way to timid and overwhelmed to play the actual card game...

This channel has gotten me back into Yu-Gi-Oh. The new stuff is confusing, but speed duels have been fun.

As someone who's played the Power Rangers deckbuilding game, I hope yall had fun with it! It plays surprisingly well as a 1v1 IMO.

They really need to get the Prof to do a Yu-Gi-Oh player reacting to how good MTG cards are with them. Considering his style of cards he likes to play it would probably be interesting and I'm using video.

@@RMSLtnick Meh, a lot of people have done things like it. I just think it would be interesting to see it with more of a casual style setting since you really don't see that anymore and both the Prof and Team APS tend to try and have more fun then completive a decent amount of time.
I mean just look at commander, modern, pioneer, legacy and Vintage all of them have different cards that effect what would count as good/bad. Yes there's some overlap but a card like cyclonic rift would be considered garbage in a lot of formats but in Commander its basically a staple in every blue deck.
The Professor is such a bundle of joy. This was a very fun epsiode to watch. Also, PAUL, I IMPLORE YOU WITH THE POWER OF THE EGYPTIAN GODS, BUT LARRY THAT DARK MAGICIAN GIRL PLUSHY.

Though I|m a big fan of Yugioh, and have been for 20 years, I'm completely new to this side of youtube. And I gotta say, I love this. I feel like there is no other sphere of content quite like "nerd" content of any form. Be it yugioh, magic or dnd. This type of content is just so cozy.

Played yugioh most of my life and had to cut back when I didnt have anybody to play with. Around that time my playing of Mtg rose. To see 2 of the most influencial personas in my love of card games Team APS and The Prof. team up to make a video together makes me feel happy. Though I've been out of the yugioh scene for a bit I will always love yugioh and the "good side" of the community. Same for Magic❤
I'm more of a magic fan than a Yu-Gi-Oh fan, but I'm seriously loving all the crossover between creators recently! It's really fun to see players from different card games interacting with each other and reacting to their games. It feels super refreshing compared to all the seemingly competitive debating I'm used to seeing between the games elsewhere.

Larry in the hole is the series that I follow the most as a third person gambling addict. The pure nostalgia of ripping a pack is euphoric. TeamAPS is my vape pen between master duels so that I don't spend my whole check on sealed product lmao.
