Hi, Rose! My Grandma or Mum must’ve gotten it decades ago at an Asian bargain shop haha. I’ve tried searching it up for you and have found some when I looked up ‘insulated carafe’, but they’re stainless steel on the outside. You might have better luck sourcing it from an Asian bargain shop if you have any nearby. Hope that helps!

My grandma and mom definitely uses different herbs. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough Cantonese to figure out what it is 😢😢

It’s good to know that your family looks after you with their version of a herbal tea too! If you describe the plant to me, I can ask Mum and see if she knows it 😁

@@WokandKin that's so kind of you! I would love that! I know one thing she used frequently was something that looked like bark. It actually looked like wood. But it was white?

No worries! I actually might have an idea of what you’re talking about. I remember seeing lots of white bark in various soups growing up.
I’ve Googled what they might possibly be, so can you let me know which of these two looks more like it: poria or Chinese yam. After you let me know, I’ll ask Mum for the Chinese name for you!
