Wow thank you so much everyone for 100K, I really never thought this channel could reach this milestone. Whether you have been here since day one or just joined the channel today. I appreciate you all being there and I really hope you enjoy the video!
Well deserved! You are the most inspiring photographer on this platform, it is just a great pleasure to watch the next episode each time. Congratulations for this milestone, I hope to meet you in person one day, maybe on a workshop, why not?
Dude. This is waaaay off point but I just wanna point out if you haven't heard before, that you look just like Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park! Awesome video as always mate. Please create a calendar!
Michael, it's because of videos like this that you hit 100K. Congrats! For someone like me that loves to shoot seascapes and who lived in La Jolla for 7 years, this video really strikes a chord. I love the techniques you share with us and I also love your images that inspire me to go and shoot. Thanks.
Great adventure! Live your ocean work Michael and you're rocking the flip flops! Good Job sir. You and Nick need to get together on a Washington and Oregon coast VLOGS.
When I look at your technic, it never looks that complicated, and I think "Yeah, I can do this"... But then, I look at your end result, and I'm always blown away. You are good. It's that simple. In other word, when I grow up, I want to be just like you....
Some real stunners in there Michael! I used to shoot them same rocks about a dozen years ago. One evening I also slipped on one that was fraught with moss and was way too slick. The carnage that followed was a cracked cam body and zoom lens that needed to be repaired to zoom again. Anyway, I’ve taken a long break from shooting and just upgraded my aging dslr for the latest mirrorless and need to get back out there. Thanks for your content because is incredibly inspiring.
Michael I follow you and lots of photographers you know, you are literally a level above most of them! Inspiring and incredible images are your calling card, thanks for sharing all you do, it is appreciated!
That's what I was thinking, as well. He's SO talented and really quietly humble about how great his skills truly are! I'm so grateful that he's able to do this and share these beautiful photos/videos with us. ✌️❤️😂 from Northern California 🤓❤️✌️
Huge Congratulations Michael!! So well deserved! Your enthusiasm and your calm teaching style are an inspiration to so many and what attracts people to your channel, not to mention your magnificent photography. This episode was wonderful as well and the photography is beautiful! As many before have said, I too watch other channels but you and your channel are my favorite!
Thanks for sharing your tips. The really useful ones are high tide vs low tide composition and cleaning your camera equipment after a little seawater spray. I live close to La Jolla and I have the low tide pots with reflection but not high tides with waves over the rocks.
I love watching your videos. The quality is excellent and they are educational. Most of all though, the way you explain your shooting process, ideas, and inspiration in such an interesting, cool and calm way is amazing, yet you also manage to convey the emotional aspect so well too. Your videos are a real pleasure to watch. Not forgetting your superb shots, which are themselves a great inspiration. Thank you for sharing your passion.
Great video. I live on Irelands west coast on the Wild Atlantic Way. You cannot beat going out capturing photos and video along the coast especially in winter. You got some wonderful shots. All the best from Co.Clare Ireland. 😎👍
Michael, I’ve been a member of PPA for a few years now. Finally went ahead and got certified through them as well. You are the first landscape photographer with a sponsor from the PPA, very cool and hope you are a fellow CPP as well doing landscape work.
Awesome. Everytime I head there I always wonder if we'll cross paths, especially when the tide is right. So many shots that accentuate the water flow so well
Nice one. Loved all the images but strangely that last one (without the colour of the others) was my favourite as its just that bit different from all the others.
My most favorite landscape photographer from IG and since you had 10 subscribers on YT appreciate the content you are sharing and giving us your mindset in how to capture the photos!
Great video as all time ! You're photos are amazing ! So beautiful !!! You are an artist and that's why you have 100k followers on your YT channel . Thanks a lot for all your advises for Landscape Photography ! Take care !
Stunning images. We're obviously enjoying those same sunsets up here in OC as well. You've got some great rocky coastline there...we have several areas as you probably know (e.g. Crystal Cove, and around Laguna). You pictures were special--thank you for sharing!
Great tip on checking the tides. I've been to that location several times on the spur of the moment without checking the tides, and arrived with conditions I wasn't expecting. Your comment about the nearly constant bluebird skies in San Diego (aside from the equally boring May Gray and June Gloom) hit home, too. When I see your Bay Area fog shots, I say, "I need to move up there!" Great job.
Congratulations on reaching 100K subscribers . I was just thinking you should have 300K+ subscribers. You are a wonderfully creative photographer with soul. Thank you for sharing your talent and for making so many of us feel and see the beauty of your images.
Awesome stuff - loved those shots. Wide-angle seascapes are my main photography focus here on the east coast of Australia (although it’s sunrises mostly rather than sunsets). With the wide-angle lens I find if you’re not getting a good soaking or in the water you’re probably not close enough! I’m increasingly shooting handheld and find image stabilisation in the latest cameras is good enough for at least 0.5 second exposures (certainly with the Olympus system and the new Sony full frame).
Nice, nice! Thank you. I've been to the pools before, but never with the light you were given. Incredible! I was In Santee 10-31, wishing I was at the beach. The sunset that night was on fire! Who knows if that was the case at the coast, hopefully, it was. I have to get back to the pools. Beautiful work; thanks again.
Wow thank you so much everyone for 100K, I really never thought this channel could reach this milestone. Whether you have been here since day one or just joined the channel today. I appreciate you all being there and I really hope you enjoy the video!

Well I believe it can reach more than because of the useful content you share with us. I wish you the best of luck
Congratulations, Michael. You have a very unique style of content creation, and it clearly resonates with intelligent, handsome people like me.
you deserve many more Michael! Need to share your amazing adventures and photography with the rest of the world!
I can't wait for you to hit 1000000! You are the most fascinating, inspiring photographer on YT!
Spectacular, Michael. Your passion and enthusiasm is palpable. 👍😄
7:00 shot = fantastic image. 11:37, wow!
Lived in SD for 2yrs and had been to the same location so many times, it'd never get old.
I could almost feel the warm, smell the sea and taste the salt. A lovely way to spend a cold damp Sunday evening. The photos where great too 😎
Dude. This is waaaay off point but I just wanna point out if you haven't heard before, that you look just like Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park!
Awesome video as always mate. Please create a calendar!
I love the music you chose for this. I always enjoy your sharing what you were thinking while photographing.
Great video like always. The rock with the water looks like a puppy's face at 07:04 🐶

Wow, simply incredible. Stunning photographs!
And above all technicalities, you're gifted, simply put. 👏🏻
Fantastic video Michael. Seascapes are what I do as I live by the coast, so I especially enjoyed this.
Great adventure! Live your ocean work Michael and you're rocking the flip flops! Good Job sir. You and Nick need to get together on a Washington and Oregon coast VLOGS.
Stunning images, something about rocks & water 👏
Wow, stunning images, such a variety of compositions too 👏👏👏

Truly magnificent images.
Mother Nature at her best. Lovely images as always
The portrait image of the rock @ 6.45 mins in the sea resembled a bear's head. Pretty cool!
Madre mía , haces unas fotografías preciosas❤.... me han emocionado algunas de tus imágenes, saludos desde España 😊

Great video. The shots near the end with the large rock formation and almost waterfalls everywhere, absolutely stunning, loved em.
That was awesome! I loved how, in the photo where you were splashed, that the clouds mimicked the shapes in the rocks. Great work.
Beautiful, beautiful photos Michael!
Thank you :)
Michael, as always an awesome and inspiring video. Thank you.
WOW!!! I was speechless watching this! I love shooing seascapes..Congrats on 100K..onward to 200!! Thank you!!!

Beautiful beach shots Michael. Those light conditions were awesome!

Well worth the wait. The shots at the end were stunning. Also nice to have some practical tips on dealing with salt water hitting your camera.

14:25 ohhhhh yea
Yeah man! Some incredible shot!! Good for the soul.
Amazing session and that light! 😍😍
Lovely shots mate. Really enjoyable to watch.
Tidal pools in La Jolla are best Seascape photography location in CA
Thanks for sharing your tips. The really useful ones are high tide vs low tide composition and cleaning your camera equipment after a little seawater spray. I live close to La Jolla and I have the low tide pots with reflection but not high tides with waves over the rocks.
Hats off, it's always difficult to shoot seascapes along with filming yourself
Phenomenal, totally inspiring!!
Great video Michael and love the bearface rock at 6.27 :)
Another great Video. Glad to see you left San Fransisco
Love the shots at 14:18 and 14:27. My favorites!

Really lovely images and thanks for the tips on how to deal with salt water splashes getting on your gear when on location.
Inspiring as always 🌊 🌅
Great shots, thanks for sharing many of your stunning images. I'm inspired by your sharing. Hope to visit this location. Vincent from Singapore 🇸🇬
Beautiful work!
I appreciate that, thanks!
Amazing.
High tide 4 or 5 foot tide going to 6 or 7 foot LOL -- in my home town we get 13 m plus tides, and as such its very important to know your tide times
San Diego is super mellow. So anything above 4 ends up being a lot of fun haha.
My most favorite landscape photographer from IG and since you had 10 subscribers on YT appreciate the content you are sharing and giving us your mindset in how to capture the photos!
