Which image from this video is your favorite? Please let me know in the comments below! :)
The first images of the bridge and the rocks are my favorites. They are all beautiful!
thanks for sharing Michael. The vertical panorama came out so nice. out of curiosity, why didn't you take a vertical single shot or like two (one underexposed and one exposed for the closer subject)? Cheers!
lol never mind.. you did one with single exposure!
The abstract sand patterns looked really nice. Something different than the typical seascape shots. Although the night shots of golden gate reflecting the light in water were pretty stellar!
The one with de the bridge and rocks
Golden Gate at night... Great shot
As a beginner in photography, your videos are very inspiring.
Kinda like the POV style. Gopro in the gob? Do you remember to switch it off when you go for a piss? It wouldn't be flattering in super wide, unless...
Also wearing sandals. I see he has picked up bad habits.
Very important to have the proper footwear :)
I have the footage if you are so eager to watch Gavin.

The bridge at night - especially the last one, Spectacular!👏🏻👏🏻
Really enjoyed this POV video, made we want to go out and shoot! My fav shot was the last one of the bridge!
Really enjoyed this... I think my favorite was the bridge at night with the beautiful reflections in the water
Hi Michael, first thank you for all your work. The blower to get rid of a drop on the lens . . . . brilliant! You make it hard to choose, the first shot from above with the couple . . . timing is everything. Sand patterns stand on their own, so simple, so good, most people would just walk by, and last but not least, most are gone by twilight . . . . the light from the bridge on the clouds and reflections in the water . . . you can only take if you are there. Broadening and 'enlightening'! A wet suit with booties is a must!
I loved them all Michael but particularly the ones on the beach
Thanks Beth!
Glorious light on the beach and water with the bridge. My favorite.
My favorite the one with the bridge in twilight, those reflections are really beautiful. And I like the POV format, makes me feel like I’m in San Francisco!
Bridge at twilight for me 😁🌌
Love the last one. Golden gate at night. 👍🏻😀
Bridge @ night! Gorgeous
So beautiful shot Bro...
I really like the POV format. I like the sea stack photos, but my favorite is the last photo of the bridge from the beach.
Fascinated to see how quickly you work. Many videos you see show lots of slow meticulous composition the one click and the master shot is produced. Great to see how you rapidly respond to your changing surroundings
You should definitely continue making FPV videos. I found them to be really relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks for sharing this video! All made shots are masterpieces!
Love the moody glowing twilight images of the bridge! And your favorite of the sand textures has perfect balance to it, looks stitched “Natures Shawl”,
Really liked the night shots of the bridge.
Please don't ask us to pick a favorite - it's impossible! But a wonderful dilemma to have! It's fun watching how you work and feeling like we are right there with you.
Frankly all those long exposures are brilliant. Never stop learning new and enjoying your videos
The last shot of the bridge was amazing! Love that light reflecting off the surf, creates such a dynamic scene.
thanks so much
I liked the last image, the Golden Gate at night the most. I loved the reflections on the beach/water and in the sky. Great capture!
Great Video Michael. All are great shots, but the very last with the reflection is my favorite.
Absolutely love your abstract images. I tend to forget to look down as I’m mostly looking up searching for interesting birds.
My favorite is the bridge with the rocks in the foreground. I liked the POV, it gives you a nice perspective of how hectic it can be.
The one with the reflection in the sand. Great image and good video. 👍
Really like the GG Bridge in all her glory...lights on and the beautiful clouds keeping her warm. Great vid...more please!
Hello Michael. The last pictures of the Golden Gate are definitely my favorites. The lights are really gorgeous 😍😍😍. Regards from Germany.
Dirk
Abstracts are great, but Bridge pics are the best. Perfect light balance between artificial and ambient
The last was amazing ! ! ! Great shots.
My favorite was the pictures of the golden gate bridge from the cliff, especially the one with the 50mm
+1 👍🏼 W/nifty 50 FoV of ggb and the abstract sand patterns 👌🏼 were my faves but all are super wonderful
Love the POV perspective of this video. Such useful tips. Great video Michael.
Thanks so much!
I like the sand shots and the GG bridge at night. All were good really.
I love how you edit your photos - perfection!!
Thanks so much!
The sunset and bridge shots are all really incredible and have the most pop. Great work, Mike. Thanks for sharing.
All the images are gorgeous but tops for me was the last shot of the Golden Gate Bridge. A close 2nd was the daylight shot of the bridge with the foreground rocks.
Michael, I love the way you shoot "from the hip." Whatever captures your eye in the moment, whether textures, lighting, movement, etc. I have a difficult time saying which I like best because I'm so eclectic in my taste. Nature is just plain stunning with her banquet of images to feast upon. I learned a lot from watching this. Thanks so much for sharing you passion with us.
Super vlog all first class images....favor the night shot ..it extra special...thanks for the inspiration.
Golden Gate bridge at night is just beautiful.
All nice shots I think I like the night shots best.
I think that’s one of the best Golden Gate Bridge photos I’ve seen. Great video.
Thank you Joshua!
I like the POV format, let's viewers get a better idea of what you might be looking at. If I were to pick the favorite photo, I would select the last one - Golden Gate at night!
Great video! Love all of the photos but have a soft spot for the GG shot! Now to finish off the video, pick one of the photos and walk us through your amazing editing! Yes, I know always asking for more..... thanks for all the content!
As always I enjoyed the whole video. I like your approach to photography. My favorite photo was the last one with the bridge in the twilight.
I love getting lost on the beach and getting TOO into all the patterns in the sand and forgetting the main objective of shooting the sea! Its also great for when the sunset just isn't working and you have all those textures to make a bad shoot into a fun shoot.
All of them, great images.
Thanks Paul!
@@MichaelShainblum You're welcome.
Enjoy all your videos! Thanks.
Great longexposures and excellent editing 👌
thanks!
The one at night with reflections, and the one with rocks leading to the bridge are stunning! Great video, as always!
Awesome shots here, man! I much enjoyed several, but among the top is the 8:50 shot of the anemone-encrusted rocks with sunset color in background. So much came together in that one, including the congruent color of the anemones with the sky colors, as well as the compo and lovely leading lines. Also much enjoyed yer Golden Gate centred shots at 11:30 and 12:30. Nice contrast of the warm bridge colors with the cool colors of the seascape. I enjoyed your closeup patterns also! Great work!
this is awesome! glad i found your channel.
I prefer your great shot of the GG Bridge at night with lights refecting on water and sands.
I love watching your videos. Great talent. You are the Bob Ross of photography! Lol.
Nice, relaxing and qualitative video ! Best continuation ☀️
Great images Michael. My favorites the ones of the bridge with the reflections at twilight.
Love these POV style videos...great shots there..that sunset shot was out of the world!
Glad you are enjoying them, thanks!
Every shot was a banger! Great work dude
thanks so much
Wonderful video Michael. Love the images with the rocks and the bridge. Thanks again for another great video.
Great stuff, hard to pick a favorite. I think the initial Golden Gate shots at 35mm landscape orientation or so and 50mm have a really special feeling. Light is special. Maybe it’s nostalgia but I would put one of those on my wall for sure!
I especially enjoyed the sand designs. Something I never considered at the seashore. The other photos were great, too.
Thanks so much, I think those sand patterns ended up being my favorites
More POV videos. I think i can learn a lot this way. Great Work!
I’m really liking these pov videos, great way to see your shooting process!
Spectacular! Loved them all.
Thank you so much!
Love your golden bridge with reflections image and the abstract images were amazing! Keep doing these POV style vlogs as I really like them 🙂
As usual Michael - impossible to pick a favorite, always seem to love them all, tough pick. Fun to watch how fluidly and quickly you assess and set the shot.
Great video. Would love to see more videos in POV. Liked the last one the most.
Stunning place and photoshoot !
Thanks!
Fav: The GG at night - LOVE this video!
thanks
Another great video, simple, not too much jibr jabr :D, bunch of great images hard to decide which one is better. One of the top channels I like to watch, not the one with 30 minutes video and not a single image taken or saying driving 500 miles for one photo :), then you should have been a painter not a UA-camr or photographer ... amazing work Michael. Keep up.
As somebody who focuses on night reflections l do of course love the reflections of bridge after dark.
Thanks for sharing the way that you work Michael, it's very inspiring. Would you consider doing a video on how you clean your tripod after a shoot like this? It would make me a lot more confident to try getting in the water. The images were excellent, and spanned a number of styles that you pulled off really well.
I do like the abstract. If you hadn’t known it looks like a Top down view of a landscape shot from a drone. Enjoying the vlogs.
👍🏻 Dave - Brisbane 🇦🇺
Love all pictures you took. Find your videos very informative keep them coming.
Loved the bridge shot at night, the light on the sand was sublime👍
Thanks so much Paul
Absolutely loved that last shot, hopefully one day i will make it to SF to shoot the bridge.
Loved the Golden Gate Bridge at night. Thanks for the timely video. I am headed to Outer Banks NC next week and needed some inspiration. Hoping to capture some great seascapes and Lighthouse images!
Just loved the POV video... thanks so much. More of those please. Would love to see how you combined the vertical sea stack photos in the video.
Nice photos mate the bridge is the one for me 📷 👍
Love the sunset with the sea stacks, always look forward to seeing your vlogs.
Those grand landscapes are beautiful but those fine details in those sand , that shot was my fav. I just loved the way you composed those images. Great job brother ❤️
Love the bridge shots. How do you keep your tripods from sinking into the sand from the wave action?
Love the POV videos and talking/showing settings, feels like you’re out shooting lol, cool the way the bridge lights shine off the waves🤘
Thanks! :)
The last one👍
Greetings from across the bay. Another fun video. My favorite shot was the last. Loved the lit bridge and the reflection in the sand. Any idea how many images of the GG bridge you have?
Thanks! Hmm good question. If we are counting just raw files from images and timelapses. I would say 100,000 or so. Single images without timelapse probably a few thousand at least.
I'd love to see that sunset panorama as a 3:1 narrow crop.
Amazing shots across the board! I'm looking to pick up a RF 15-35 in the next few months as my widest is 24mm and I feel like I just don't get quite enough out of it. Thanks for sharing good sir!
Cant wait to see this! Im sure it will be great as usual!
Thanks so much, hope you enjoy it!
when his POV shots look better than your stills
Hey great video. My favorite I think is the Garden Gate Bridge during blue hour with the warm lights reflecting on the water and sand. Maybe it's the complimentary colors that I like. Again great video. Do you get a bit nervous when your filming and you run into people? Like Thomas Heaton. Haha... Cheer's!
Lovely photos 👏👏 really like first coast shot with side light and the rock and wave shots but by far my favourite is the twilight bridge shots with reflections on the beach. POV really effective to show how you get the images too. If your prepared can you just confirm which beach it was as I’m in SF either side of a nearby workshop and already looked up potential locations and not sure between Bakers Beach or Marshall’s Beach?
Love them all. Another great POV Vlog!
Thanks Joel!
I really enjoy this new style of videos! Great work 👌
Yep I completely agree I hate it when I feel over confident! As you said you don't get the shot then!
Subscribed on the rocket-blower tip alone ~
The last 2 images were the best in my opinion, I like the ones before with the rocks but I would have chosen a slightly faster shutter speed to get some more texture in the water, nevertheless I enjoyed the video and the little cat with the fans showing that you treat your followers with respect.
Well done buddy.
The blue hour Golden Gate Bridge is my favorite! Nice vlog...would be great spontaneous running into you over there.... nice series
Thanks Dave!
Amazing Work!! Can i do seascape photography with a prime 35mm lens? or do i need to go wider?
It is always very impressive to see how you get a great composition from anywehre. Do you apply any special technique to improve sharpness in your pictures ? The last zoomed image of the Golden Gate looks absolutely sharp.
