- Earlier in the summer I took this flight from Copenhagen to Lisbon. Initially, my expectations were that of an "European Business Class" cabin, so I was happily surprised when TAP offers a proper business class hard product. Here is what you can expect form the Portuguese flag carrier.

Being Portuguese, I fly TAP frquently on vacations. Buying with several months in advance means we usually get really good deals, and it's better than ryanair/easyjet

I am suitably impressed at TAP and love the Neo.
Only CS-TJN and TJM feature these seats in Business Class, as TAP didn't change them when they took these ex Primera aircraft. Pre Covid they were mostly used on Tel Aviv and on other "longer" routes, so you were just lucky to get one of them.
Also, I can only commend you for your IFE choices on your tablet and especially that in another report you turned Top Gear off immediately, after figuring out, it wasn't one of the authentic episodes. Very refreshing trip reports you've produced!

I Flew on Tap Eco between Spain and Lisbon back in 2014, it was a good experience. I also flew on KLM MAD-AMS European Business Class so i know what you mean lol, that Tap Business looks nice!.

Nice video! You were lucky you caught this specific A321neo. This exact one was destinied for Primera Air, but was then acquired by TAP. As a result it still has the Primera air Seats!

These look like the aircraft acquired from Primera airlines, so they are configured differently to the standard A321 LR NEOs ( which have the long haul business class product!

Unfortunately I only spent a day in Lisboa, mainly to visit some friends and catch up. I have been to Portugal before, and love the old world charm. Porto would have to be my favourite city in that respect.

Just one thing the colonies biggest one are Brazil, Mozambique, Angola, Sao Tome, Guine Bissau and Cape Verde. Macau does not fly there please but apart from that amazing trip review

Not quite. There's only one production/manufacturing facility in China, whereas Poland has the most out of all existing locations. IKEA Industry units can be found in many parts of the world. At the moment we are present in 9 countries.

It's CS-TJN - first flew with Primera Air, but was liquidated to TAP after they went bust at the end of 2018.

They have printed the info twice in Portuguese because one is in Brazilian portuguese.

To be fair, the economy class food isn’t that good, and having made the exact same trip a LOT of times, the seats in economy class will make sure it hurts everywhere when you get off, but you do get a fair amount of leg room.

This route happened because Macau was a Portuguese colony until 1999 I believe when the colony of Macau was given back to the Chinese Government. This route probably only happened due to the Portuguese influence. I only know this because I have family in Macau 🙃

This flight seemed a bit ordinary compared to the others you reported on, was it worth the extra cost? Perhaps a different airliner next time you're in that neck of the woods? Oh and I am not one of those fans with an interest in the lavatory however, I don't mind seeing the take off which you include in most of your reports....nice little swipe of the refresher towel btw...

TAP Portugal is literally the worst airlines ever at least in Europe. I had a terrible experience with them, staff are really rude and dont bother to assist their customers. Thanks to TAP i ended up getting covid while waiting at the Lisbon airport during transit which was caused due to delay in the first flight from NY. TAP didnt provide any compensaiton, the case i opened is still pending after 4 months. There are plenty of bad reviews from people on ig, trustpilot etc. Most people are waiting for their refund for months and in few cases for upto two years or some have bad experience with cancellation of flights or rebooking into a new one making the customers wait for few hours or a day without providing them with hotels or food or water.
TAP we are still amidst a pandemic you dont even treat your customers or provide your customers with basic facilities like hand santizers or masks or even treat them with respect.
My experience flying from Lisbon to NY was a shit show, flight attendents didnt wear masks, flight attendants had attitude when serving i had to ask thrice for drinks, they didnt have any vegetarian option told me i have to book it. It was an A320, the flight was crowded all six seats in a given row was occupied where the hell is social distancing ??
Return flight from NY to Lisbon was another shit show, the flight was delayed by 3 hours without any information. As a result, i missed my connecting flight from Lisbon. They rebooked me onto another flight later that day but i had to spend 7 hours at the airport. They didnt provide me with basic amidst this pandemic. I was told to wait like a regular passenger at the airport and they dont care about where i seat. Hello TAP Portugal it is your fault the flights were delayed and it is your responsibility to take care of your customers. Giving me a good place to wait is not going to bankrupt your Airlines. Thanks to your recklessness i ended up getting Covid at the airport.
This is absolutely a joke of an airlines....
