- After over a year of kitbashing and painting Gunpla model kits with my miniature-inspired techniques, it’s time to review everything together. Since all these projects were customized specifically for the tabletop game Gamma Wolves by @GuerrillaMiniatureGames, part of this video will be about the crew pilots and load-outs, as well as customizing some basic battlefield terrain! (yes, there will be ASMR) | #mecha #tabletopgaming #gunpla

Which crew do you think is going to win the battle report?
Team Protagonist duh, they have plot armor.
Protags.
Also I would like to see a Red Bull Gundam Ver. 2.0 using the upcoming RG kit as well as a GaoGaiGar colored after Mountain Dew
Protagonist gotta win right? Is this a campaign, gott a surprise challenger in the shadows? Also definitely thought you were going to make terrain out of the coke can,
Antagonists, they have the Gouf!!
You can't put both the Gouf and Barbatos on the same team and expect the others have a chance. The graze is really just there to use the minimum 3rd slot
So impressive that Miyuki finds the time to be an ace trained pilot and student council president. Btw: this is a beautiful squad! Your model mayhem style is always a treat for the eyes.
Ha ha thanks, you know he's all about that #grindset
I'm a simple ghost, I see a Gouf and I like it the most :p (unless there's a Death Scythe)
Ooh you know what, I think the antagonist crew deserves a Deathscythe.
that suit definitely has antagonist energy
You have fine taste
Hand Painted 7 models, now what?
Foot Paint.
OMG LOL
I love your painting style. I've just started dipping my toes into the Gunpla world and this is one of the few hand brush work channels I've encountered. Thanks for being here. I want to enjoy and develop some hand brushing before jumping into any airbrushing if I ever decide to.
Thanks! Airbrushing is definitely more popular with Gunpla, and hand painting is with miniatures; both have their pros/cons...
@@MMMayhem ah that would explain a lot. Thank you replying.
The thumbnail is perfect 👌
Edit: I was not expecting Speedwagon to be pilot of the Heavyarms, but I love it as a JJBA season one fan.
I knew there'd be some people who appreciated the JJBA reference! (my fav part right now is a tie between 2 and 4)
I’ve been waiting for this one!
Amazing video! A more detailed dive of Gamma Wolves would be great!
you'll see that in the battle report ;)
@@MMMayhem Awesome, I'll make sure I'll have my copy and a highlighter!
Same. I've always had an interest in war games but live in the middle of nowhere. Not a soul in sight to play with.
Like Tim and Eric made a Zaku Aurelius parody channel
Honestly one of the best compliments for me, thanks lol
Can’t wait to see the battle report
Hands down my favorite is the Gouf and the Buster. Some of your best work.
Thanks for your input!
love this video concept man
I would like to see a Red Bull Gundam Ver. 2.0 using the upcoming RG kit as well as a GaoGaiGar colored after Mountain Dew
Dude, you're awesome!
Awesome video! I’ve been following this project with earnest since you’ve been uploading.
I did my own model mayhem style painting on a GM sniper. You’re making me want to create a set of SD grade for tabletop, since they’re ready so small :)
thanks for following the model mayhem journey!
**chef kiss**
I'm hopeful that the next video is like 2h hahaha.
I love the bases kinda wish the antags had red bases to make it easier to tell who's who on the table. Which thanks for the content and paint 2 "armies" then play a match is not a bad format easpcly with how you assemble and paint minis. And you could do different games each season or just differ.ent teams and tell a little story with them and after the match Maybe even build a little world for all the minis to exists in at once and have it grow over the content zones life regardless great style in videos and hobbing can't wait to see what you do next!
Thanks for the thoughtful comment, glad you appreciate the content zone!
Thumbs up for the jelly belly shirt
Lol it's micro paisley actuallllly
Your paint style is amazing, I'd been looking for videos on how to handpaint gunpla, possibly do some tabletop stuff and I just love the vibrant look you've crafted. It gives me a really strong comic book vibe, Super dynamic and still easily readable. I'm always afraid to mess up on large models but this has me eyeing my HG Leo as a painting project.
Thanks man! I definitely try and hit some comic book vibes. Messing up is how I improve most of the time lol. If you havent already watched them, I've tried to explain my painting process in detail with my other hand painted Gunpla videos ;)
something rly cool would be to paint and kitbash any version of the core gundam, would love to see a core gundam painted by you good sir
"It's literally just Ramba Ral" and that is why he is perfect. xD I pretty much agree with your rankings, but they all look great in their own ways and they especially look great all together! Your hard work definitely paid off! And the terrain is a great addition
thank you very much for the continued ramba-ral-posting
I have really enjoyed the process of seeing these come together. I already had two crews for Gamma Wolves, but this has inspired me to do another using Gundam kits and some Transformers. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see the battle report!
sounds neat, have fun! Thanks for watching my videos
Love your work! You've inspired another Liam to get back into painting! I haven't painted since my youth of base coats and staring over the tabletops of wargaming at the hobby shops.
Good luck fellow Liam!
Maybe make another group and do a battle!!!
My suggestion would be to use oils instead. You're working extra using acrylics to achieve a similar or worse result.
Can't wait for the battle report
Great video
Your paint jobs are a literal inspiration. I love a good airbrushed kit, but they're a little homogeneous.
If I focused my energies on getting better at airbrushing, I;m sure there would still be a lot I could play around with, but what can I say? I'm a brush-boi
The answer is let someone like myself 3d print you parts for a crazy kitbash.
Wow, great timing with the RG Sazabi. I just finished building mine today, took ages but I really liked building it. Definitely not painting a gunpla yet tho haha
I want to see you customize a gelgoog always great videos
I am fully new to this do you have a video of what a person needs to play gamma wolves by any chance
You will see in the upcoming battle report this weekend. All you really need, other than a playing surface, is the book, some dice, and a measuring tape; you can use whatever for tokens
@@MMMayhem ok awesome cant wait to see new to gundam building but really want a game to play them with
How do u lacquer top coat your kits
I use acrylic varnish through airbrush to top coat
I know this a year old but what size bases did you use? Asking ao I don't accidentally buy the wrong size
Medium frame 100mm, heavy frame 130mm IIRC. The game doesn't have firm base sizes since it can be played at different scales. The book just has suggested sizes
lol 14:07, lol wut?
exactly
