its the same courier from all elder scrolls game... but honestly i think it would be a funny mod if there is a group that just delivers things in weird ass places
I really enjoy that it’s canon that the Champion of Cyrodilli dedicated himself to the divines, and went on a pilgrimage to become devout enough to serve them. He becomes the most devout follower of the divines. About a month later he decides to be the literal incarnation of insanity, and spends the rest of his days yelling about cheese and trying to achieve self-fish stick.
I like to assume that the coc originally came the shivering isles for one more check mark off his daedric genocide crusade and ended up being dragged into madness by the incomprehensible insanity of sheogorath’s realm it becomes a sort of ancient greek story about the folly of hubris where the coc thinks of himself as an invincible champion of the nine and because of that is completely blind to the threat the shivering isles poses beyond just demons trying to stab you
My headcanon is that the Hero of Cyrodill was always a little bit mad, which is why his first instinct when he encountered a gate to the bloodlands was to just jump into it without a second thought. They then became the living embodiment of Pelinal (who was a bit mad himself) just because a mad prophet (voiced by the same guy as Sheo curiously...) told him so and lead a crusade to both "close shut the jaws of oblivion" and defeat Umaril. Because they became so used to going into oblivion gates when they finally saw Sheogoraths gate they didn't think much of it and hopped in despite seeing how the gate made all other people mad, its also worth noting the gate didn't change the hero at all which kinda supports the "he was always a bit mad" theory. The time they spent in the realm slowly influenced them more and more and after they became Sheo it took a few years before they fully transformed into Sheogorath, but I like to think that they still have the power to turn into the Pre-Sheo Hero if needs be, if only for a short time. It just makes sense for them to go mad if you really think about it. They have probably spent more time in realms of Oblivion than anyone else, witnessed the physical incarnation of not one but three Daedra (Dagon, Sheo, Jyggylag) and a divine (Akatosh) and witnessed the horrors of the realms of insanity and the bloodlands over extended periods of time. Feels like almost too much for one mortal to handle. We know the DB is likely corrupted just from their time spent in Moras realm so it only makes sense the same happened to the Hero of Cyrodill. I also love that the Hero undoubtedly proved the divinity of Talos, which shows the flaws in the Thalmors ideology, but also became the complete antithesis of Talos, in that they are a mortal that ascended to godhood but instead of becoming a divine they became a Daedra
The Divines discussing the Dragon Crisis must have been like Arkay: Your son returned Akatosh: I know Stendarr: do you have a plan? Mara: this sounds urgent you know Akatosh: of course I have a plan Kyne: it involves a Dragonborn? Akatosh: obviously Julianos: How original Zenithar: well, it always works Dibella: ok, where are they? Akatosh: right there at the chopping block... Talos: W H A T
Not my lydia. I killed her on accident. I thought oh I'll just console rez and get my stuff back. She came back to life with nothing on her so then I killed her on purpose and left her in a river.
TARANCHULA7 I was thinking something similar. if he had gone to the block and had been given his last right it probably would have taken longer than an arrow to the back.
Plot twist: the archers didn't kill him. He faked his death and he is stealing more horses right now to create an army of horses to defeat the imperials
At least personally, I think it's impressive that the Dragonborn was able to traverse Apochypha and read multiple black books without going insane. Meanwhile, legendary arch-mages and daedrologist lose it by simply being there.
When someone says took an arrow to the knee it’s actually means they got married back then ig that’s what it meant for a guy to get on one knee and proposes
Can we just take a second to talk about how Alduin pops up to save the Dragonborn and the Dragonborn responds by hunting him down and killing all his family and friends?
I think Alduin was actually attempting to kill the Dragonborn, but ended up saving him. When he shouted, it looked like he was aiming directly at the Dragonborn.
When you think about it, the hero of Kvatch got it bad. They're all chosen by gods, but while the other two had special powers and perks, the gods are just like "oh let's choose this mortal but give him nothing lmao" to the hero of Kvatch. Hoping he gave the gods his revenge after becoming sheogorath.
Well Martin was the true “protagonist” in Oblivion, and he, from my knowledge he did have divine powers. I think the Champion of cyrodill/hero of Kvatch was there to become one of the blades, and along with them, bring Cameron to justice and close the jaws of Oblivion. I think the champion of cyrodiil had his on prophecy outside the main quest, and that was to inherit the relics of the nine and become the divine crusader and defeat Umaril.
The Nerevarine may have had prophecy on their side only IF you were the Nerevarine and not just some random person who happened to be somewhat qualified.
The Dragonborn would tell the story of how he bested a chicken in equal combat, then was hunted by everyone despite saving the world on 3 different occasions
Morrow (Morrowind character): and then he asked me to get naked! Robin (Skyrim character) Damn that’s forward Asia (Oblivion character) Wow. What a personality. Morrow: I know right?
All 3. Greatest to their people: Neverarine. Greatest to Tameriel: Champion of Cyrodill. Strongest in a 1V1 fight: Dragonborn. *Holy Crap I’ve never had so many likes and the replies went crazy!!!*
Honestly? I think the Nerevarine takes all three of those. Dagoth Ur's plan went deeper than any of the other villains. If the other villains succeeded, people would just die, or live under tyranny then die. Dagoth Ur intended to imprint and then become the core of Anu's Dream, and was well on his way to accomishing that. Dagoth Ur had a fate worse than death lined up for everyone.
@@sethbritton6970 strongest 1v1 is the nerevarine easily. you see nerevarine can cast levitation spells, which doesn't sound too impressive until you realize that casting a level one levitation effect on an enemy effectively reduces their movement speed by 99% also getting 100 magic resistance is an easy feat for a late game nerevarine, as are potions that restore seven digit numbers of hit points per second with durations of several years. he can also just paralyse you and then slip the moon and star ring on your finger for an easy instant death combo.
@@windhelmguard5295 strongest 1v1 is the dragonborn easily. Slow time + 100% magic absorption + potion of restoration + Mehrunes ' razor = nerevarine is dead.

The Hero of Kvatch is my favorite because he wasn't destined for anything. He was in the right place, at the right time, and did the right thing. He became a hero because he was courageous.
@@BoJangles42 He/She was certainly part of a prophecy but out of the 3. They're the most "normal". If you really think about in the base game you're character is the 2nd most important person in the game. Martin Septim is the true main character for base Oblivion. I wonder if anyone has done a theory or what if video for how Cyrodiil would've faired without the PC? I think Baurus would've gotten as far as his meeting with Raven Camoran. Not sure if anyone else would've been there to help him fight or not.
@@BoJangles42 I like to think it was his circumstance that led him to be on the emperor's path. Both in a physical and literal sense. Therefore maybe that's why he appeared in the Emperor's dreams about his fate.
Ok ,but what about that theory of the dragonborn being Shor? He is a shizzarine. There is this quest in Skyrim in which you meet a ghost from the time of Talos, who's birth name is Hjalti, and he calls you this. Also, During the storyline the Greybeards actually say that you're Yismir. There are only 3 people with that title. ~Yismir Wulfarth ~Pelinal Whitestrake ~Tiber Septim And in the hall of valor Shor is no where to be seen... that's because the player is actually shor! You could also sit in Shors throne.
It's *Shezzarine but I like your theory. By the way did you know that there is a theory that claims that M'aiq the liar is a Shezzarine which would allow M'aiq to slip through the cracks of time and space and become immortal?
That breaks the whole point of starting off as a prisoner because in every tes game you start off as a prisoner preventing the character you play from having any backstory what so ever
Shor/Lorkhan, is gone, his spirit was mantled by Hjalti/Talos (who by the way, was a horrible, horrible person), his heart was sunk into Red Mountain, and body is Nirn. So what you actually mean to say is DB is an avatar of Talos; which is why the throne stands empty.
Here's how I'd put it: The Nerevarine saved Morrowind, The Hero of Kvatch saved Tamriel, and the last dragonborn saved the entire kalpa, so the hero of Kvatch was the most powerful in the end but the dragonborn did the most saving, but the Nerevarine could also arguably be called the most impressive because he fought alone more than the others.
The only guy who gets it; they should rename the video "Who was the most powerful hero", not "Who is the greatest Hero". The Dragonborn definitely did the greatest deed by preventing the Kalpa from ending (Only those great spirits that know the Walkabout would have been spared). I agree though that after the shivering Isles the Hero of Kvatch is the most powerful, and the Neravarine did the most by himself.
@@aperson-rq9hy Last Dragonborn beat Miraak and Alduin (the prior scaling above the former), same Alduin who has consumed all of the Divines and Daedric Princes. Same Alduin who is feared by the Daedric Princes and who only Mehrunes Dagon would dare to attempt to communicate with, same Alduin who Akatosh attempted to stop from eating the Kalpa yet failed. The 3 Nordic Heroes from the Merethic era are stated to be the greatest and most powerful Nordic heroes of all time, scaling above Bhalok individually who was deemed untouchable by the combined ALMSIVI. Same ALMSIVI whom contains a single member (Vivec) who defeated Mehrunes Dagon, same Dagon was then defeated by both Sotha Sil and Almalexia. Yet a weakened Alduin destroyed the Nordic heroes as if they were nothing. End of story, Last Dragonborn is a monster a level beyond that of the Daedric Princes and the Divines.
@@fultheim3580 Huh I didn't know that, it's weird Bethesda would make a character like Alduin that powerful, kinda makes the Skyrim story line not make that much sense.
The Champion of Cyrodyl is my favorite one. He/she wasn't blessed by Azura, he/she wasn't born with dragon blood. He/she was just some man or woman who managed to do everything on his/her own good
All of them are more or less equal. They couldn't have failed, even the COC, because they were destined to do those things. It doesn't matter that the dovahkiin has a dragon soul or that the nerevarine was destined by azura to get revenge on the tribunal. What makes them heroes is that they are all prisoners.
@@lucyaycan9905 Not really your right that they could all have failed but that mean that how they succeed was more important. The hero of Kavatch is the best in that he was self made, yeah the emperor had a vision but that is nothing compared to the others hundred of years old prophecy. He could have simply gotten Martin to Cloud ruler and then been killed but he proved his metal and stuck with it till the end with no divine gift or protection or destiny.
Fudgemuppet seem to have forgotten about Morrowind's DLC. Where not only does the Nerevarine lay waste to the Dark Brotherhood in Morrowind, but he also beats the Daedric Prince Hircine in single combat on Solstheim.

This is a question that can't be answered. The Dragonborn literally killed the end of the world. The Hero of Kvatch manage to fend off the Daedra and become a god in the process. I haven't played Morrowind, but I'm pretty sure you kill multiple gods. Edit: For you nerds out there; yes some of this is hyperbole.

It is worth noting that although the Dragonborn defeated Alduin with the help of the three heroes, after that he/she learned the dragon shout which can summon the three heroes, which has become part of his ability. This means that if anyone wants to challenge the Dragonborn, he will need to be at least more powerful than Alduin, as the Dragonborn can always summon the same formation he/she had when he/she defeated Alduin.

The Nerevarine and the Dragonborn were destined to be heroes. I feel like the Hero of Kvatch was just some guy in a cell. He had no prophecy or dragon soul to support him. Only an opportunity, the opportunity to make something of him/herself. He/she went out there with the amulet, walked into a Gate of Oblivion, wiped out hordes of Daedra, defeated a powerful Sorcerer, an Aylied King, and defeated a Daedric Prince before mantling a God of Madness At the end of it, the Hero of Kvatch wasn't pushed by prophecy like the Nerevarine or the Dragonborn, they took an opportunity to be a hero and that takes some balls of ebony. And then actually mantling a God? Yeah. Champion of Cyrodiil is Tamriel's greatest hero

bakersmileyface a traitor for wanting to openly worship who they want in there own country? A traitor for not wanting to be controlled by elves that want to kill everyone? Lmao
bakersmileyface The only traitor amongst the stormcloaks was Ulfric. He had ulterior motives. The Nords wanted religious freedom and to not be controlled/dragged off in the night by the Altmer SS and the Nazi-meri Dominion. The Cyrodillic Empire, who was supposed to protect them in exchange for them remaining part of the Empire, failed to do so and folded to the “You can’t worship Talos” thing. This effected Skyrim almost exclusively. None of the other provinces save Hammerfel really gave a shit. This made the citizens of Skyrim feel singled-out. Between that, the outlawing of the worship of their chief deity and honored ancestor, the forsworn rebellions, a growing vampire menace, tons of refugees flooding in from Morrowind when the Nords were already struggling to maintain themselves, the collapse of Winterhold, and a long string of incompetent and spineless jarls coupled with what they viewed as a spineless Emperor... the Nords of Skyrim were FED THE FUCK UP with all the bs. They decided to take matters into their own hands. They’d been forgotten about and told to suck it up while they were oppressed and refugees poured in to soak up more of their resources amidst an already failing province. They rallied behind Ulfric (not a good guy, but he was familiar, he was a Skyrim Nord, and he promised to give the people back their country) and rebelled in the name of honor, freedom, and a better future for their children and grandchildren. Your average stormcloak is not a “traitor” or “evil” or anything. The average stormcloak is a Nord who wants freedom from tyranny and oppression, to no longer be the one who feels the pinch when emperors and Dominions go around squeezing, to honor his ancestors and to make a better Skyrim for his children and grandchildren. There aren’t many reasons more noble than that, in my opinion. While the Stormcloak rebellion likely won’t end well for Skyrim, while Ulfric isn’t a good person, and while there is a bigger picture going on... it’s hard to argue “the big picture” to Nord families who are starving, lost their homes, lost loved ones, and now lost their religious freedom. They’re angry, downtrodden, and they want their lives back. That’s what makes a Stormcloak.
@@devina7819 Well I mean they swore allegiance to the Empire. Therefore they are betraying the empire. So yes. That makes them traitors. Just because things are going bad for them at that period of time, the stormcloaks are stabbing the Empire in the back and doing their own thing, weakening the Empire further. These stormcloaks have no loyalty. If the Empire had not upheld their end of the bargain to the Nords, then I would understand. Loyalty works both ways. But no, the Empire has upheld their end and done everything they could however they unfortunately lost, but the stormcloaks betrayed them anyway. Haha and what's with that little smug "Lmao" at the end? You can't even use the correct grammar and you want to act condescending. Try harder this time.
It would be the coolest thing ever if in ES6 we got a quest where we interacted with the other protagonists in a spiritual form or something. I think fudgemuppet is more of an oblivion fan, which is fine idc. But people like to conveniently forget that tld also fought alduin on the throat of the world and alduin had to flee, with even less help than when he killed alduin. Ask me, people overhyped tld having "help". He honestly probably could've killed alduin without help. For example: miraak states he could've destroyed alduin had he gotten the chance. You then destroy miraak, who by the way, has been training in the art of the Thu'um for THOUSANDS of years. He is by all normal standards, a god.
That one teacher mage in College of Winterhold. Can't remember his name, but I remember him getting out and fighting the magic anomalies with his FISTS despite being a literal master of magic
Yea, the Last Dragonborn did have help when he finally killed Alduin in Sovengarde, but you forget that he beat him once before in single combat at the top of the Throat of the World. This proves that he still would’ve been able to kill Alduin in Sovengarde even if he didn’t have the help of the three ancient nord heros. Oh and it also means that he beat the first born of Akatosh not once, but twice. I don’t think there really are any feats much greater than that, aside from beating Akatosh himself. Not to mention all the theories that the Last Dragonborn actually IS Akatosh, in which case it’s even more of a no contest who the greatest hero is.
there is no way in hell dovahkiin is tamriel's greatest hero. Nerevarine slew literal gods and hircine and the Hero of Kvatch became a god. these are feats leagues above the dragonborn's
Technically the Hero of Kvatch did not defeat Merhunes Dagon, It was Akatosh and Martin Septim. So i would say the Nerevarine and the Dovahkiin, maybe the Dovahkiin, if we respect the lore Alduin wanted to destroy Tamriel. The fucking Dovahkiin walked into Sovengard and Aprocrypha. Considering that if the Dovahkiin hadn’t stopped Alduin then the universe would cease to exist, that includes oblivion. That means Sheogorath’s realm wouldn’t exist either (and the fact that the hero of Kvatch didn’t actually defeat Mehrunes Dagon) The nerevarine required technology lost to time that only one living being could repair/make functional. When o first played skyrim, wondered why the dragons just didn't go take over some other land where there was no dragonborn. They could have literally just went south or anywhere.
Because the majority of dragons were buried in Skyrim. By that logic, Dagon could have set up shop anywhere in Tamirel but chose Cyrodiil as his stomping grounds.
Understand the nature of Dragons. For dragons, men and mer are like ants, intelligent ants which can be enslaved. They wanted to rule over other sentient creatures as they saw them as weak because of their mortality. Hence, they made an error in judging the circumstances. Alduin was all cocky until you dragonrend him over the throat of the world and he runs away to hide in Sovengarde like a little boy. Also the dragons are arrogant and power drunk, they didn't take the dragonborn seriously in the beginning of the game. So, if you are an immortal apex predator with power rivalling the gods in the eyes of the mortals, then its natural that you would try to rule them. And most men and mer are found in Tamriel
In the game it states that dragons were prideful creatures. They called skyrim their home and probably are way to prideful to run away from their home because of the dragonborn. plus imo the dragons have a sort of respect for the dragonborn even if they do try to kill him.
dragonborn: i just sent alduin further in time hero of kvatch: i just helped gave the amulet to martin so he can kill mehruns dagon . . nerevarine: bitch please i killed a living god and an immortal, and struck a dagger in the heart of lorkhan without fast travel
Finally, some love for the nerevarine! Why is everyone omitting the fact that the nerevarine defeated hircine in single combat? Not to mention that he did it after taking down an army of werewolves and Karstaag himself, that secret boss of Skyrim who is so difficult for the Dovahkiin to defeat.

It'd be neat if you could, in Elder Scrolls 6, find the Nerevarine and the Dragon Born and use them as companions or have them be integral to the plot. They could be customizable too so they look like your players from Morrowind and Skyrim, that'd be cool.
It would be pretty cool if they'd come up with a system like Dragon Age's "Dragon Keep" where, you can upload your save file and have it intertwine with the world setting of the next game. This also works for the appearance of the character. But only problem with that is, mods lol. You appearance would probably be butchered if you had a crap ton of texture mods, and other aesthetics tied in character creation. It would be dope, though! Or if ES6 you play as the Dragonborn. Until we know more, we can all just sit back, theorize who we will be playing as, etc.

@@tulioelmexa I am aware of that, but I myself thought that it was meant to be "a blood that is sacred & divine" instead of "a Divine's blood". Meaning that a dragonborn blood should work (Martin Septim's blood perhaps even worked). Just like how you open Sky Haven Temple in Skyrim. So, still i don't believe that Talos ascends godhood.
Pelinal Whitestrake is the real MVP. If he and Morihaus hadn't joined up with Alessia, the ayleids would never have been overthrown. But the when Alessia decided to wait before storming the White-Gold Tower, Pelinal went Leroy Jenkins and did it himself. Did he fall for a trap that ultimately took his life? Yes, but he still single-handedly killed every last ayleid, auroran, and the combination thereof (Umaril) inside the Tower. Plus, he wasn't entirely killed either, so there's that.
Andrew Senecal the Snow Elves were the damn war criminals, they slaughtered the Atmoran’s settlement unprovoked. The snow elves deserved what they got from Ysgramor. Plus it wasn’t even men that really fucked the snow elves, it was the Dwemer.

Between those 3 I think that the most remembered would be the dragonborn, the neverine is definetively #1 in morrowind but has little importance in the rest of the provinces that varely knew what was happening and let alone knowing that a potentially world ending crisis was happening, the champion of cyrodill again would be the #1 on cyrodill but a champion who saved the people of a province that left alone the morrowind during the crisis wouldnt be so popular there and the same goes for most of the other provinces who fought the crisis by themselves like black marsh or elsweyr for example, and in the summerset isles case, a hero who saved their enemy from total collapse also wouldnt seem so appealing and at the end it was basically a form of akatosh the one that ended the threat, not directly himself, making his tale a little less popular, instead the dovahkiin basically single handedly ended a global crisis which could only be ended by himself, a crisis that prevented tamriel not only from being destroyed but for the whole mundus to restart putting an end to our kalpa
hero of daggerfal wrote themselves out of existence though xD, but yeah, eternal champion could still be there somewhere... though they just collected some parts of some staff and then killed some wizard so their achievement's aren't all that good compared to these three xD
So? Hero of Kvatch became the champion of Hermaues as well. Before he mantled Sheogorath of course. Actually now that I think about it, so did the Neravarine
@@metetural9140 Not true, because anyone can wield and find a daedric artifact not just a champion. Also if what you say is true anyone who make a deal with a daedra like clavicus or sheogorath will become their champion wich is stupid. I agree that it as happened one time with the dragonborn because nocturnal literally ask you to give your soul to her, but beside her none of them did (except Herma mora) and even then it is agreed that the guild quest are not done by the hero but by someone else.
@@notalpharius4553 yeah not just anyone can wield a Daedric artifact. If the said Daedra's champion dies the artifact leaves Mundus and returns to the princes side for their next champion. If a prince gives you a Daedric artifact you are now that said Daedric princes champion meaning your soul belongs to them. Tis why most people worship only one Daedra (or non at all). But the player characters are different, the dragonborn can't belong to any of these Daedra because of him being basically a child of Akatosh, meaning they'll probably go to Aetherius when they die. The Hero of Kvatch? He becomes a Daedric Prince so his soul belongs to only himself. And the Neravarine only exists because of Azura so they'll go to Moonshadow when or should I say if they die
The only reason I think the dragonborn is the most powerful is that we don't know the extent to a shout's powers. Considering that a few random heroes made a shout of pure anger to turn an immortal beast mortal, the dragonborn could make their own shout to make daedra or maybe even gods mortal, then kill them with their large aresal of shouts.
Not likely the daedric princes are no pushover. I'm sure most would laugh at the ldb and then use their own magic and end it. Alduin wasn't even confirmed as having beaten the daedric princes.

My initial thought was the Vestige. Actually mindblowing in scope how much they've done all over Tamriel. ETA: Forgot to add this, because it is interesting: "Each is a mortal kidnapped from Mundus at the moment of death, his or her soul stolen by Molag Bal for some unthinkable purpose, and given in exchange the vestige that enables him or her to form a counterfeit body here in Coldharbour. But they are not native to Oblivion, so a Soul Shriven’s body is a sad imitation of the body worn in life, suffering rapid wear and decay until it dies-a death that is no liberation, for its vestige only forms a body once again, over and over, ad infinitum …. Such are the facts. What follows is speculation, born of conversations with the Sojourner during his infrequent and unpredictable visits. His theory is that the Soul Shriven’s bodies are flawed because they have lost the focusing principle of their Anuic souls, so their vestiges are imperfect patterns. I concurred that this was likely, and then proposed the theoretical possibility of a Soul Shriven who, despite having lost his or her soul, possessed some other intrinsic Anuic aspect. This shall-we-say "paragon" Soul Shriven would form an unflawed body in Coldharbour that was a perfect duplicate of the body worn in Mundus. In fact, if this paragon bore a sufficiently high Anuic valence, upon contact with Padomaic creatia its body would form almost instantaneously. The Sojourner scoffed at my theory, but seemed taken with the idea nonetheless. He went on to speculate that if such a thing were possible, it would probably occur in a situation where the Mundus was in existential jeopardy. In that case the Heart of Nirn would spontaneously generate such "paragon" individuals as a way of defending itself from destruction, in a manner analogous to the way the mortal body fights off infection." -from Chaotic Creatia: The Azure Plasm
It not really fair to compare the vestige ESO is a massively bigger game giving him way more feat to go off plus its still ongoing so there will be more
@@LokFan96 Alright, fair enough. Let us forget that the other chapters did not exist, and focus solely on the base game. The Vestige defeats Molag Bal *and* takes on Mannimarco, which by itself makes them on par with any other hero in TES lore. Not to mention all of the other achievements the Vestige can accomplish in the base game in their alliances. All heroes in TES lore are "paragon individuals," but what gives the Vestige an edge is that they are reformed after and have a lore-backed reason behind it. All in all, the Vestige is pretty powerful, and pretty neat.
@@yarp1246 He is strong I admit would place him equally with the Hero of Kavatch. Both had the balls to fight against daedric princes and wage war in enemy territory. I will point out that Oblivion's story frames Martin being the real hero so it prevent the hero from getting to fight Dagon even if he wanted to.
@@yarp1246 As far as feats go Vestige has never shown anything as destructive as any single TES protagonist, without additional help. Champion of Cyrodiil defeat the most dangerous out of all Daedric Princes once he mantled Sheogorath, Jyggalag. Dragonborn slays dragons left and right alone. Nerevarine defeated avatar of Hircine. These are all feats that we also can witness in ESO, except for vestige is not powerful enough to accomplish any of them alone, without extraordinary divine help or special circumstances. Vestige can reform like a Daedroth, which is his main advantage, he can not be killed or at least it seems so for now, but he is not on equal grounds with LDB, Nerevarine or CoC. Essentially what I am saying is that if it was a fight without powers to reform the Vestige would in my opinion lose to all of these three heroes even single time.

Lol
Well, I don't think Sheogorath gave him much choice with becoming him.
I like to assume that the coc originally came the shivering isles for one more check mark off his daedric genocide crusade and ended up being dragged into madness by the incomprehensible insanity of sheogorath’s realm it becomes a sort of ancient greek story about the folly of hubris where the coc thinks of himself as an invincible champion of the nine and because of that is completely blind to the threat the shivering isles poses beyond just demons trying to stab you
Truly the greatest hero

I'm just saying, if that storm cloak hadn't interrupted that priestess and got himself killed, maybe he could have been the true hero of Skyrim.
Except he's a stormcloak traitor. So more like a villain.
bakersmileyface a traitor for wanting to openly worship who they want in there own country?
@@devina7819
Well I mean they swore allegiance to the Empire. Therefore they are betraying the empire.
So yes. That makes them traitors.
The Empire fought hard against the elves along side the nords, fighting for their rights as well as the rights of every other nation in the Empire. They lost.

Considering that if the Dovahkiin hadn’t stopped Alduin then the universe would cease to exist, that includes oblivion.
That means Sheogorath’s realm wouldn’t exist either (and the fact that the hero of Kvatch didn’t actually defeat Mehrunes Dagon)
The nerevarine required technology lost to time that only one living being could repair/make functional. (Yagrum bagaarn) so imagine if Yagrum hadn’t been left behind on Nirn when the Dwemer transcended!

I really hope the dragonborn shows up apart of a quest for hermaeus mora in elder scrolls 6. If 6 ever comes out that is.
Until we know more, we can all just sit back, theorize who we will be playing as, etc.
just some honorable mentions:
Pelinal Whitestrake, Ysgramor, Talos, The Soulless One
The only one there that is truly a hero is The Soulless one aka The Vestige. Pelinal and Ysgramor both committed mass genocide. And Talos or Tiber Septim was a power hungry war monger.
@@andrewsenecal6686 well tiber septim actually became one of the nines, maybe he wasnt so bad at all
@@alysonkiszewski5032 he's not a God. He's a remarkable & a strong man yes, but he's not a God.
@@Vanessa-xl5jy Talos is a God.
There's a quest in oblivion where you have to obtain divine blood, so you have to retrieve Talos Armor to obtain that blood. So yes, he is a God.
But if you really think about it Pelinal Whitestrake was also a massive war criminal.
And while we are on the topic, so was Ysgramor.
pelinal is to the elves what doomguy is to the demons rip and tear. lol
@@andrewsenecal6686 Ysgramor had just cause, the snow elves sacked and massacred the nords of Saarthal. I admit The 500 were extreme.
Andrew Senecal the Snow Elves were the damn war criminals, they slaughtered the Atmoran’s settlement unprovoked. The snow elves deserved what they got from Ysgramor.
Plus it wasn’t even men that really fucked the snow elves, it was the Dwemer.
Pelinal was a demi-God, as was Morihaus. They're like the Dragonborn in that they were born with power, and didn't have to work for it.
I can just imagine all three going at it with their broken enchantments. I believe oblivion has the most broken enchantments like invincibility.
Masterclass RetardTM the Dragonborn could become Ethereal, slow time, etc.

4:11 That made me laugh so hard for some reason I can just imagine the town and imperials faces as this man transformed in front of them
Between those 3 I think that the most remembered would be the dragonborn, the neverine is definetively #1 in morrowind but has little importance in the rest of the provinces that varely knew what was happening and let alone knowing that a potentially world ending crisis was happening, the champion of cyrodill again would be the #1 on cyrodill but a champion who saved the people of a province that left alone the morrowind during the crisis wouldnt be so popular there and the same goes for most of the other provinces who fought the crisis by themselves like black marsh or elsweyr for example, and in the summerset isles case, a hero who saved their enemy from total collapse also wouldnt seem so appealing and at the end it was basically a form of akatosh the one that ended the threat, not directly himself, making his tale a little less popular, instead the dovahkiin basically single handedly ended a global crisis which could only be ended by himself, a crisis that prevented tamriel not only from being destroyed but for the whole mundus to restart putting an end to our kalpa
Yeah Dragonborn is going to be a more sung story at the end of the day but is likely not the most important
The Dragonborn ends three global crises by defeating Alduin, Lord Harkon and Miraak.
The protagonists of Arena and Daggerfall: am i a joke to you?
hero of daggerfal wrote themselves out of existence though xD, but yeah, eternal champion could still be there somewhere... though they just collected some parts of some staff and then killed some wizard so their achievement's aren't all that good compared to these three xD
And also ESO's protagonist.
The Last Dragonborn became the champion of Hermaeus Mora, taking Miraak's place.
So? Hero of Kvatch became the champion of Hermaues as well. Before he mantled Sheogorath of course. Actually now that I think about it, so did the Neravarine
@@metetural9140 Doing Daedric quest doesn't mean becoming their champion.
@@notalpharius4553 yes they do? If a Daedric prince gives you one of their artifacts they make you their champion

*nerivar* I am immortal brought back the worship of azura went to akivere and can FLY

*everyone else* WHAT WAS THAT PUNK
*vestige with all dlcs* amateurs
The vestige literally defeated a daedric prince in their realm of oblivion
My initial thought was the Vestige.
Actually mindblowing in scope how much they've done all over Tamriel.
ETA: Forgot to add this, because it is interesting:
"Each is a mortal kidnapped from Mundus at the moment of death, his or her soul stolen by Molag Bal for some unthinkable purpose, and given in exchange the vestige that enables him or her to form a counterfeit body here in Coldharbour.
I will point out that Oblivion's story frames Martin being the real hero so it prevent the hero from getting to fight Dagon even if he wanted to.
agree, if we talking about lore and achievement in defending the realm, yeah vestige is definitely one of the top heroes in TES lore
Arena and Daggerfall: Why you, why you... bully me?
The greatest hero was lucien who literally went into my dreams just to tell me about his secret club
8:06 when...when you included those cliff racers I...I was genuinely scared man
You forgot we can find jiub's head in kvatch in Oblivion
we know this is his head because in dawnguard he says he was soul trapped by a daedra in kvatch while writing his opus
Nah that head is a reusable asset he definitely died in Kvatch like you said but that's not likely to be his head.
@@Supernova0211 I don't think it matters that it's a reusable asset. So are the voice actors in TES. It's still a pretty likely Easter egg, or at least a retcon written during Dawnguard's production cycle.
The dragonborme could be an avatar of shor.
"Shor's bones! a handsome man in Falkreath."
Pretty sure he is. Theres a lot of evidence that supports this and subtle design elements
