@frassesimon generally, it isn't, but you could argue that there are shounen ai 'sugesstions'. Especially the relationship between Subaru and Seishirou (look them up if you're interested - they also appear in Tokyo Babylon manga and OVA.
This was really good! It made me so happy when I saw Subaru x Kamui, but I'm more of a Seishiro x Subaru fan because of Tokyo Babylon. I never got far enough in the manga or anime of X, but did Seishiro ever admit to Subaru that he actually loved him??

The two main characters struck me recently as a kind of early Yaoi, you don't see or hear any Yaoi behavior, but the entire series had a vague hidden sexual tension between them, you just go-are they or aren't they??? What recently REALLY pissed me off was those same two male characters I wanted to get together in some sequel you may recognize as the two fighting to the death at the start of X movie. Damn.
@SuzumeChiyu Actually no one really knows what the true ending is. In the anime version Fuma dies, in the movie version Kamui dies, and the manga was discontinued so no one really knows what the true ending is... either way both endings were sad...
This was no "yaoi song", this was just perfect for the shounen ai. the sad thing about most of these shounen ai is that they die or almost wither before they even get a chance to get to the stage of yaoi
