    What an awesome way to build....im amazed they are still standing. They had to clear the praire grass to grow crops and nothing went to waste. The one with a wood floor and plastered walls actually looked very comfortable to live in. I would have been very proud of my husband if he built something like this back then. If they plastered the outside itt would look like a modern stucco house.

      I agree! What a cool and resourceful way to make a home when there aren’t enough trees. I can’t imagine being the first person with that idea, to make earth bricks out of grass and dirt roots. Thanks for watching!

    Very primitive, but I could live there - at least 3 seasons out of the year
