You can farm around 30 unbound per week after that any rune that drops is bound.

I did get a DRO drop in dungeons, the only blue rune so far, i tried farming the first couple days, but i just ended up buy runes that sell for 100-125 platinum and i have Ent, Dro, Vox equipped. Farming runes in a 4 party is a must. Solo you'll hardly get rune drops.

Btw...unlike legendaries or set items, your familiar CAN pick up runes automatically.

I got my first gold rune in an elder rift this afternoon and it was really good! But I want to know if we have to remove the runes we have slotted into our armor in order to improve them before putting them back? Every other rune I have is blue. And I’d love to work towards improving them.

i jump between all classes too, its a pain getting all the essences every new difficulty. Then you figure out most of them sucks.

Still have not found another rune than the 1st which was part of the story/event. Do they drop only on Inferno?

theres a little market symbol in the top left corner of the item if its unbound

Unbound runes are sellable on the market. They have a little scale symbol in the top left corner.
