      This is a high profile trial and people are interested in proceedings. Whatever one thinks of Sharpton, he has as much right as anyone else to sit in the court room and observe proceedings. If any intimidation were to take place I would expect the person(s) concerned to notify a deputy or other court staff. It sounds like few people were aware of Sharpton's presence and those who were aware were not bothered by his attendance.

The victim was jogging and 3 men (not police) chased him down, cornered him in, and shot him dead while one of them recorded it. There were no arrests or charges made against the killers until the video leaked over a month later. That’s the case.
