      Bryan: "I wish I had hit him good with my truck, could have stopped him before he got shot".
      Or how about not chasing down and forcing some random person going down the street to stop and talk to you. Someone you literally never seen do anything.
      Feel like someone needs to put this in a dark movie: Serial killer kidnapper with rape victim locked up in a basement - They manage to escape and when being chased down by the kidnapper in his truck, some random neighbor that only knows that the truck driver is a neighbor decides to jump in his truck and help run down the victim and stop them from escaping - the guy just knows that his neighbor has to be the good guy.

      And the nerve of that Witch stating that she is bothered by the State’s attorney calling the brutally murdered young man a victim. Then later she completely bathe her client in victimhood. So she was just uncomfortable for others to see the VICTIM as the victim, because it was reserved for only certain people. And she tried her darnest to dehumanize Ahmaud, and she felt so comfortable doing so inches from his Mom. She doesn’t have half the class, kindness and, humbleness Ms. Arbery has.

Not only was I wild, but I had a total disregard for laws and rules and that earned me a 30 serve 15 year prison sentence... in the state of Georgia. I understand codes of law pretty well because I attempted to overturn my sentence while serving time. Not only do I understand law but I also know my rights and due processes. These wicked animals confessed to murder on day one. Not to be misconstrued by any falsehood concerning all of the lies and excuses they gave for killing Mr. Arbery... these animals knew that what they did was murder, and all of the officers, and law enforcement on the scene that day knew as well because their body cams recorded all of conversations they were having with the defendants. Honestly I don’t think it’s being forced at all the judges interpretation of the citizens arrest statue and its requirements are the same as they are in other states it’s just the defenses casw is so weak that a pretty reasonable interpretation mostly kills their tiny Aquital chances.

    Arbery knew he was being subjected to a lynching. He must have been utterly terrified. Strangers chasing him, hunting him, in trucks, hollering at him, ‘angling’ their cars at him, carrying weapons, using their cars as weapons. And why? Because exaggerated rumours, misinformation and gossip had made the neighbours paranoid about a threat of petty theft and an innocent black man had the temerity to go for a jog in their white neighbourhood. The question of justice doesn’t stop with the convictions of those that murdered Arbery, it must continue with the indictment of the police and local DAs that covered up a heinous lynching and murder.

      @@hadeees these cops may have kept records but most of the evidence is the bodycam footage. These cops were either incompetent or complacent.
      1. They failed to render aid to the victim. I'm not sure they even checked to see if he was alive.
      2. They failed to secure the scene. They let these guys walk around with their firearms until the finally said to put them in their trucks. Securing the guns is kinda important since you haven't figured out who played what roll yet. At no time after a fatal shooting was anyone in cuffs, you have 3 guys, who should have been suspects at that point,,wandering aimlessly around the crime scene.
      3. They let these guys go home (with their firearms), to wait for the investigator to arrive. They then had to go to the house and have them come back out. If one of them thought they were going to be arrested for murder it could have turned into a suspect barricaded in a home situation.
      4. Stopod around the crime scene and engaged in idle chit chat. "I have the same boots, bla bla bla."
      Im fairly confident there will be an inquiry into their procedures.

      @bambilackner 2 роки тому +5

      exactly, their whole story was bullshit, even them(greg and Travis) saying they thought the truck and Ahmaud were working together. they knew exactly who was in that truck, Roddie yelled out to them ya'll got him, right before the chase. they all said they didn't know each other, but on the bodycam, Roddie says Travis and Greg's name, vise/versa. the McMichaels knew who lived in that neighborhood, they thought the whole place was there's and no one especially a black person had any rights to be on their street in their neighborhood. What i find odd, is crimes did not start happening in that area until Travis moved back in “coincidence”? they have to make Ahmaud out to be a scary black guy who was committing crimes, and was attacking them, just like the video where Ahmaud was sitting in his car at the park on his day off listening to music, the cop had no right to question him, demand i.d, then illegally search his car/ or his person. the cop used the excuse for the taser, “veins were popping from [Arbery’s] chest, which made me feel that he was becoming enraged and may turn physically violent towards me”. Once again, the scary black guy defense! Even though they approached him for no other reason than he was a black guy who looked like he was up to something"smoking weed”, they found nothing! His mother needs to ask for charges against these cops too.

To know that the young man was truly running for his life and fought after he could run no more is heart wrenching and scary. Just think, in his mind he had to know that he was in a fight with not a man but a shot gun and his chances were small at being victorious. It's heartbreaking, it takes my breath away. This ex-officer was initially part of the cover-up and should live life in shame along with all the others who were willing to accept this event as being righteous.

      Stopping and defending yourself is most certainly standing your ground.. And the Mczmichaels had no authority to stop anyone, which makes their actions criminal..
      Once again, if you can’t let idiots like this go, then we might as well fight it out in the streets.. I know that’s what you want, but trust me… You’re gonna lose..

      @Garret Fox Pointing a loaded shotgun at someone is an assault. Defending oneself by reaching for the barrel is not. Keeping their distance? They were only a few feet away when he pointed the shotgun. Some of the pellets went thru a window of a house across the street and embedded in the wall.

    they chase down, and execute a man, two of the murderers feel guilty, but they think: "we are white he is black we can make some stuff up and our friendly policeman won't suspect a thing, hehehe"...third guy lacks intellect to even realize he is racist, and he basically provides the complete story together with the video, without a doubt incriminating himself and his to co-conspirators. Philosophically that is the saddest prat of the story, he doesn't look like the worse guy in the universe, he just so dumb, that his moral compass was solely based by the culture around him :/

      @@Alandforman well, the point of going to trial is to determine if the slaying of arbery by mcmichael is murder or not. throughout the trial, the suspects are technically _presumed innocent._ the general idea is that all evidence and testimony provided should be neutral and factual, so that the jury can reach a fair and impartial verdict. for a police witness to slip up and call it "murder" before a verdict is reached _(before it's determined to be a fact)_ indicates how he, an investigator with some insight on the case, personally interprets the guilt of the suspects to be a foregone conclusion. even if he misspoke, and it would seem that he did, a juror can't magically unhear it
