Same here, I have a 2014 Mercedes Benz A250 sport. I got stuck on a road with my son at night. It says “without changing gear, consult workshop”. It won’t even go on neutral. Radio works, all lights work so it’s not a battery problem.

I am glad it worked for you. So, in the end I changed my battery and it been over two years now, my car drives well with no further issues

Doesnt work at all...
Could it be you opened one of the doors or used the car multimedia during the reset process. Please avoid this and try again.
