They were nice cars actually but mainly they were there to cater to those who wanted a luxury badge at a cheap price to look rich. They sold like crazy and because of that each sales person was averaging over 25 cars a month including the Nissans and other makes/models. Extended warranty upsells were easy on the German cars too so the dealership made margins in excess of $4000 per car sold.
