Hi, I wonder if you could tell me the model number of your YUCANIC scanner. I have a 2007 Mercedes Benz S550 that went into the "Drive to workshop without changing gears". I have replaced the ISM module twice and both of the ISMs have been programmed with the data of my old one, but still showing that message, plus battery symbol and the ESP not available or inoperative. When I try to start the engine it does not crank, and the gauges move randomly and the radiator fan goes into hi speed mode, once I turn the ignition off, I hear the ISM module cycling internally but the gear selector on it does not move in neither one of the new ISM modules. Do they need to be re-learned after being re-programmed?. I used to own an auto repair service many years ago but this problem is out of my league. I have followed your awesome video step by step but I have not succeeded yet. Please help. THANK YOU.

Hi... my car is now in the parking lot and it won't go into neutral, R, or D. Is there a way to put it in neutral... to tow it to the garage? W221 2008

The issue however is to get the "start authorization" enabled. If the scanner could do THIS, it would be really helpful. But when we got to that part, the video stopped.... Because it can't?
The Mercedes Engineer who decided on this "ISM" instead of a reliable mechanical link needs to be tarred and feathered. Or even better, have the ISM in his car fail at night at 10F with a 50mph wind outside somewhere in the middle of nowhere on an intersection where the red light camera takes a picture of him every time the light changes, without being able to start or move the car.
@@jukes31ryanable A few thousand dollars and many computer-advised module changes later we found the issue: A canbus wire insulation was degraded, and shortening out intermittently somewhere behind the instrument panel. Fixed it, now everything good. Root cause: "biodegradable" wire insulation.
Having this issue GL450 2009 model it hardly start after changing new main battery, now the vehicle can't start at all/rev....I have tried during calibration of ISM but it's saying calibration not completed........The gear only indicate P, and can't change to any other gear lever

No scanner is going to emulate the drive authorization and allow engine start. You need to fix the issue.

Will it recalibrate the ism?
Ism is part of the vehicle anti theft system. It's not a simple calibration but coding the vin to the ism. YOUCANIC can not program the vin.

The vehicle have been packed for few months..... What's the solution to this?
Disconnect all batteries (the main and the little backup) completely, let it sit overnight, that did the trick for me.
