Hiked and Snowshoed up to the top of Crescent Peak with my friend Will Mclean in the Swan Mountain Range back in may of this year. This is the second time I've attempted backcountry skiing and for this trip I was rocking my lighter, shorter Goodwill Skis. They did alright, but turning was a nightmare, especially with the crusty snow on the top of the mountain. Gotta get a touring setup at some point.
