Most told me huge amount of stores, museums are gonna be close.there, what I'm gonna do there for free.
Let's see.. December 25-26 are official holidays in Sweden, so it's likely that just about every museum is closed those days. But most places should be open 27-28 at least. December 25 you might be able to find nice church music for free, for example. And there will be wintery parks to enjoy, and excellent views of a snowy Stockholm (if there's snow). Also, you can visit Christmas markets in Old Town during those days - those should be open and fun to see.
That's a good suggestion! It's very nice to look at from the outside, but if you want to see the Nobel banquet hall and things like that it's unfortunately not free.
That's actually a bit difficult! But if you look outside of the city center there are some sliiightly cheaper hotels, mostly aimed at business travelers. But still.. Hotels are not cheap!

This video made me nostalgic, and I'd gladly come again , maybe in summertime (my previous visits were in autumn, winter and early spring), during the white nights.Thank you for your great lifehacks!)
Thank you so much for those nice comments! Ironically enough, Stockholm is the only place in the world where I've been pickpocketed as well... But I love Stockholm regardless of that!
@@ThreeStarVagabond are there a lot of pickpocketers in Stockholm?
@@rexonjohneresmo1921 Not a lot compared to other cities, but I think people get surprised by the petty thefts since it's a safe country otherwise
@@ThreeStarVagabond thank you for kind reply. been watching your videos and i wish you best for your channel. btw, will you be in stockholm this december 24-28? =)
@@rexonjohneresmo1921 Much appreciated! :D And unfortunately not... I'm off from work then, so I decided to travel abroad exactly on December 24! (Btw Dec 24 is the day Swedes celebrate Christmas, and then Dec 25 is just a slow day off in general.)
Thanks for sharing good tips. 🤗
Thank you so much! Really happy that you liked it 😀
Tack. G’day from Australia
Thanks 😀Hope you have a great summer - think of us poor cold northerners now!
Thank you for the video! It was really helpful :)
Really happy to hear that! Thank you for checking it out :D
Very nice 👌
Stockholm looks amazing
Hej! Jätte brä jobb du gör här. Spänande video! Grattis! Och Tack!
Tack så jättemycket! 😀
Well done, thank you.
Cheers! Appreciate the comment :D
I'm in love with Stockholm 💛💙
Likewise! 😀 Well, in summer at least. Haha I don't love it in winter to be honest.
I cought a really cheap ticket to Stockholm anddd I wonder how I'mma gI cought a really cheap ticket to Stockholm anddd I didn't know how I'mma go there, what I'm gonna do there for free. So I've been watching Stockholm videos for days. I really liked your video but have a question. Are museums available between 25th and 28th December? Most told me huge amount of stores, museums are gonna be close.there, what I'm gonna do there for free.
Let's see.. December 25-26 are official holidays in Sweden, so it's likely that just about every museum is closed those days. But most places should be open 27-28 at least. December 25 you might be able to find nice church music for free, for example. And there will be wintery parks to enjoy, and excellent views of a snowy Stockholm (if there's snow). Also, you can visit Christmas markets in Old Town during those days - those should be open and fun to see.
The best guide so far, thanks! :D
Wow, thank you! That's really really nice to hear :D
Such a positive video. Thank you a lot.
Wow, thanks! Haha, good thing that I managed to give some positivity with this :D
Great video. Thank you
Thanks for checking it out :D
Awesome tour Thanks.
Thank you for checking it out! :D
Tjena! How about the Nobel Prize building? tack
That's a good suggestion! It's very nice to look at from the outside, but if you want to see the Nobel banquet hall and things like that it's unfortunately not free.
Thank you, it was very helpful, now Ineed to find great places to stay without breaking the bank but not a hostel lol
That's actually a bit difficult! But if you look outside of the city center there are some sliiightly cheaper hotels, mostly aimed at business travelers. But still.. Hotels are not cheap!
Ah! I’ll be sure to keep these in mind when I visit Sweden! I could save a few dollars 😂
Haha, I should give some hints about cheap hostels and how to eat cheaply too, and it'd become a really inexpensive visit :D
@@ThreeStarVagabond That would be awesome!
@@LifewithMiu The problem is that the hostels can be pretty run down... But if one isn't too picky... 😀
@@ThreeStarVagabond yea, it’s either save money or not save money lol 😂
@@LifewithMiu Haha, that's why I'm a three star vagabond and not a five star vagabond! Some middle ground
Very good content
Thank you so much 😀
Underrated
Agreed! Even though I'm biased :)
Best video ever .
Best comment ever!! :D
Tack tack!!
Tack själv! :D
Ill come also This september is there have any possible take Bus or train tickets online i mean like (App) or something…
Yeah sure, there's an app called "SL-Journey planner" where you can buy tickets as well!
@@ThreeStarVagabond thank you so much for information
are these places all walking distances? I will be planning to go to Sweden, Stockholm this december 24-27...thank you
Most of the places are within walking distance, except for Drottningholm Castle and Långholmen island. Public transport is recommended to get there. Unfortunately some places will be closed during December 24-25 (like the Medieval Museum), and Östermalmshallen is unfortunately closed Dec 24-26.
Loved it
Thank you!
My daughter from Canada will be visiting Stockholm in May for 5 weeks .. is that a good time to visit weather wise / temperatures to expect ? And any tips on kind of clothes / outfits to pack or generally what to bring?
It's really difficult to say actually - some years it's quite warm in May, and some years we even get snow. This March has been very cold, but it's heating up now. I'd go for a light coat but warm sweaters, gloves and a scarf or something like that - so that she's prepared for varying weather.
@@ThreeStarVagabond Many Thanks for your prompt and helpful reply .. much appreciated 👍😊
You should have included Skinnarviksberget ;)
You're absolutely correct! Damn fine viewpoint and spot to chill :D
@@ThreeStarVagabond Hehe yes! Good video otherwise. Maybe it can be included in the next one: "Stockholm best views" ;)
@@chribjslaha Haha, it would be a pretty short video though... It's not like there are tons of them IMO! :D
