I was in Stockholm and Gothenburg two weeks ago and found overall prices to be much more reasonable than I was expecting. Stopped on the Barken Viking in Gothenburg which was novel. By comparison I found Helsinki much more expensive for food and drink.

That's a very good point - there might be more budget-friendly options in Sweden in general compared to both Finland and Norway. Denmark is probably a bit cheaper though, I'd guess.

Swedish Crown is now quite cheaper than it was also... I remember when 10 SEK was like 1,1 euro, now it is 85 cents. But he said that.

Hi, 3-S Vagabond. It's been a long time. It's good to see you again. It was a great video as always you made. If people wanted to travel in the city for a while with a few hundred bucks in their pockets, they've learned.
You are a true guru of delicious and affordable meals. As a Turkish person, I have never heard of Turkish burgers. But I am glad to see them look very delicious and bargain. I must try. Also, you preferred them over burger franchises. :)
At the end of the video, you suddenly find yourself in the nightclub? Oh, I forgot about you were Beer Pharaoh Vagabond. It could be a new skill. After a few shots of 50 SEK beer, you can instantly teleport to nightclubs. A kind of brewmaster skill it must be. :D
I missed your videos but I was far away for a while, I'm sorry about that. I had to cool down my own processors(brain cells) during hot summer days. I hope I won't miss your next adventures. Have a great week.

Heeey, so nice to hear from you again :D And I really have no idea why they call it Turkish burgers - I think they just made stuff up that sounds exotic to Swedes :D
Haha, that's what happens after a couple of cheap beers after all. I had some footage from a couple of events I'd been to lately, so I thought they fit pretty nicely - that was a geek concert and a Barbie rave. So, no normal nightclubs for this Beer Pharaoh! :D Hope you have a great week, and that you're doing great now that the scorching summer is over!

Well, it was a bit of work getting the budget that cheap, but I think it actually would be a reasonable trip. Depending on expectations, that is :D It's really good that you can stay with friends - the hotel cost is what really tends to raise the budget of any trip. I love all these tips. I know it's fun to splurge on things, but when we travel, I'm not even sure if we qualify as Two Star Vagabonds. Even when traveling for work, I've been known to find a food co-op and eat on the cheap, even thought he company was paying. In a way, though...it's not even so much about being frugal, but when going to a grocery store/food market salad bar or picking up other things, you tend to bump into people who are more likely to tell you neat places to go than you might find in more upscale places.
