Always amazed at how damn durable these Honda air cooled engines are! The abuse they can take is just phenomenal. Have had a CRF230 and now a Yamaha TTR230. Can't beat the simplicity and reliability of these old school air cooled machines. Don't miss doing top end rebuilds on my KX250F every 20 hours at all.
Nice work, great video. I put a 240 kit, bigger cam, bigger intake valve, carb, race pipe, and lightened the flywheel 1 pound. Race suspension. 24 pounds total weight reduction. It’s now a 230R. -Low Buck Garage
You should do a top end rebuild on a 400 Polaris are used to do them all the time in my 20s and then life came in. Would like to start trying to do it again myself instead of paying everyone teach my eight-year-old.
Great video need more of these and a bit more tips on certain things that might make a person stronger would be great but keep up the good work love the videos

Hi man where did you buy all the parts
A one handed engine rebuild shown here lol
I am going to have to do a top-end rebuild on my CRF230. Where did you get all the parts from?
Amazon
Can we get more videos like this ?
Yes I’m hoping to get some more repair videos for you.
Basic cost on that type of work? If its ok to ask. Pardon me glr asking.
Not a problem. This job was $950 total, that was $525 in parts and $425 in labor. These were aftermarket parts not oem.
@@rockspowersports That's fair in my opinion. It looks like a puzzle to me. Hope ya the best. And, I appreciate the education.
