    Omg I’ve totally been using dōTERRA FCO to top off my capsules when I take oils internally 🙄 ... I’m guessing when I go read the bottle it will say it’s not for internal use - but seriously I saw other advocates do it and then just assumed that’s what FCO was for ... yikes! I’ve gotta be more careful. Thanks for the great videos!! 🙌🏾

      Hi Melinda! Not to worry. I've been doing the same thing as well. I saw several of doTERRA's videos mention it for oil pulling, and I assumed if it is safe to oil pull, it is safe for internal use. I have been doing that for years without any adverse effects, but it does say it is not for internal use on the bottle and product information page, so now I am using a liquid coconut oil for my veggie capsules as well. When we know better, we can do better. My pleasure and thanks so much for watching.

      To be honest, that is not something that I have tried and I don't have experience with neem oil.

    i heard the difference between fractionated coconut oil vs mct oil is that fractionated coconut oil comes from coconuts and mct oil comes from coconut kernels ? or can mct oil come from both

    • @DrLauraRicciPTDPTWHNC
      @DrLauraRicciPTDPTWHNC  5 років тому

      Great question. As far as I know from my research, MCT oil is most commonly extracted from coconut oil, but I would encourage you to continue researching as well and see what you find.

      mct is just the medium chain triglycerides, fractionated is short and medium (has the long-chain triglyceride removed - that's what solidifies it) and cold-pressed has all short, medium and long-chain triglycerides

    I apply fractionated oil on my lashes and they sting when they get into my eyes.. should i rinse this off? or will my eyes be fine if i don"t (i apply this at night btw)

    • @DrLauraRicciPTDPTWHNC
      @DrLauraRicciPTDPTWHNC  4 роки тому +1

      It should not sting. I would listen to your body and not do that if it is causing pain.

      My eyes get blurry but it was gone for a few minutes is that still okay to use fractionated coconut oil?
      Is fractionated coconut oil recommended for eyelash growth?

      @@francespaqueo339 I don't use fractionated coconut oil for eyelash growth. I actually have a video on how to make a brow gel that you can look up that I use. Ceirse, may I ask, do you have an account with doTERRA?

    What about cold-pressed coconut oil? Thank you

    • @DrLauraRicciPTDPTWHNC
      @DrLauraRicciPTDPTWHNC  4 роки тому +2

      Cold-pressed coconut oil is processed similarly, but the oil is pressed in a heat-controlled environment. Fractionated coconut oil is created from coconut oil in a process that separates the different types of fats present in the oil.
