To channel owner: I know that you wanted people to visit your website. But you were not clear about your intention for people to visit your website to learn more about your lab tests. I only know about that because I saw your reply to one of the other people who watch your videos and complain about the unclear results. You need to add a summary of the results/ final results on the UA-cam video then ask people to see the details on your website.

Have added Coconut oil , and Baby Coconut Water, with pulp. John in CANADA

Thanks for this topic, Dr. Cooperman. In a blood test, one of the cholesterol profile is triglycerides. According to the lab report the triglycerides will be unhealthy if it exceed a certain number. The question is: will MCT oil raise the triglycerides number in a blood test? I am pre-diabetes and have early sign of memory loss. Therefore, I am beginning to use it to control the conditions.

@@dawnelder9046 Thanks for sharing your opinion Dawn. FYI, MCT oil made from coconut is mainly triglycerides which is why MCT is acronym for Medium Chain Triglycerides. This is why I asked Dr. Cooperman 5 months ago and he don't seem to want to answer the question.

The big difference in the two is price, coconut oil is cheap and doesn’t come with the marketing and fancy bottles in the health food stores

    • @ConsumerlabPlus
      @ConsumerlabPlus  3 роки тому +1

Actually, while there is a difference in price, the key difference is that the MCT component of coconut oil is roughly 12%, but is more than 95% in MCT oils, as we found in our tests (and as shown in the product comparison graph in our report).

Would MCT oil derived from caprylic acid provide the same benefits in fighting bacterial and fungal infections. Caprylic acid is sold in pill form but I found this in my search for caprylic brands. There is no indication anywhere about this being the case. Yet the active ingredient is caprylic acid. I appreciate any feedback that would answer this question. Thanks.

Doesn't coconut and mct oil helps with going into ketosis and uses fat for fuel and cholesterol also transports fats. That may be the reason which in that case isn't a bad thing

Most healthy people consuming MCT don't know it's a saturated fat. Excess MCT clearly raises LDL. Since MCT impact liver pretty quickly your best bet is to consume lot less than recommended and do your workout, adjust accordingly based on your energy levels. I recommend MCT 3 times a week, the days you work out for normal weight people. If you are doing MCT for weight loss you can ignore this message

You don’t think that there could also be a difference in price based on the process VCO is produced using cold press and centrifuge for instance ? Refined coconut oil with expeller for instance is designed for mass production but introduces heat which kills off a lot of VCO’s good properties. Cold pressed centrifuged VCO requires a lot longer and more expensive process than refined.

Fast forward 20 years then it became ssris that were being pushed which I was also pressured into. Hi Dr, thank you! Do you think there is a difference in oilyness visible on the skin in fractioned coconut oil versus MCT oil. I am making a cosmetic product and tested it with MCT oil, however when I used fractioned coconut oil, it seemed more oily and had to be rubbed more to be absorbed in the skin. I have been struggling to get exact information regarding this online. Wil greatly appreciate it if you have an opinion.

Is he known for cbd stuff?
Either way, most cbd stores could answer/ verify this:
For cbd/thc oils, "MCT is a “carrier oil”. This is because our bodies can’t effectively absorb concentrated CBD through the digestive system.
MCT oil helps your body absorb CBD, but so do other carrier oils. What’s unique about MCT oil is that its chemical structure is smaller than other oils making it much easier for CBD to work its way into your system".
So basically, they must use some kind of carrier oil and most prefer this for the above reason.
(Adding source: hemplucid.com but I went to other sites and methods to verify. I knew this bc i have to take cbd products for my condition, but thought sources may help comfort ppl)

I'm not sure what you mean. However, MCTs are saturated fats and some (although not all) evidence suggests that you should limit your intake of all types of saturated fats to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

they might need oxygen, and that can be given with IV or rectal too.....it's been done for a long time in the alt market if the person knows where to go and has money......the problem is breaking up that plaque....What is plaque I haven't studied much bit appears to be calcium deposits but fungus sticks in there also....people using oil to loosen up fungus get immediate results but coconut they think is quicker because the liver processes it faster......MCT is in an argument with which one to use and lately C8 Caprylic Acid is winning the argument but....that always happens.....It may not do much more than vinegar or oxygen..... if all it's doing is loosen and break up plaque and/or fungus.....anyone is gonna feel better right away what that crap is gone......but they can eat their way back into it very easy......
