  • It's twelve day after the big flood that decimated the Coquihalla Highway. Work has begun on the first bridge repair. Today we've seen more work crew than ever. Big machines are piling the rock and helicopters are swirling.

Thank you so much for documenting this phase of the rebuild!
The mainstream media is more focused on doom and gloom and is woefully lacking in this regard. Nice to see your positive perspective of the progress already made. Keep up the great work, and personal insight, greatly appreciated!

Watching from Saskatchewan, and really appreciate the birds eye view of actual progress rather than the exaggeration and bull from some of the main street media. I really appreciate your footage and views of the rivers as main street media would have us all believe that every typical Nov rain is another doomsday atmospheric river, lol.

Keep it up guys... this is the only real coverage we have of the Coq and the progress being made. I thought it would be Spring before we see it open up again but they got in there so fast and look like they are making good progress. If we don't get another major storm that causes surge flooding like we had on the 15th or a ton of snow it might actually open in January. Thanks to you and the crews who are working on the getting things fixed up!

As a norse, I'm happy that someone is reporting how it currently is over there.
We had similar floods here in Norway a few years back where houses was swept by rivers and it was total chaos.
Norway and Canada has very similar nature and weather.

I was wondering how much coverage you are seeing over seas. Even mainstreams coverage has been good here. This channel is great and I love the independent coverage. It is as important as mainstream. BC and Atlantic Canada are hit hard, but BC especially so after the heat last summer which was more than a heat wave it was a Heat Dome, which destroyed so much soil health that it isnt absorbing water the way it should. It's been a really bizarre and I would say, catastrophic year in BC. But the people have been amazing. I's important to share experiences. Glad you shared.

Love your videos SteBros, curious about whats going on up that way. If i could make a suggestion, I dont know what video editing software your using, but most of them have the ability to do image stabilization, so even if your video is bouncy and choppy like it is right now, you can in post make it a lot smoother. Not sure if your camera has that ability, if it doesnt, even the smoothest of hands can still be a bit shaky. Hope that helps.
