I so love Alakowa. That was how I knew it when I was young especially when it's hot and a bit spicy. I'll try it now but my problem/downside for me is, if we don't have a coffee grinder, does it means we can't make it to get the smoothness of the dry ingredients? Thanks.
You can use anything that you can grind with .
You can also buy them in the powder form
شكرا ...
My dear Fafa please give us a recipe for tigernut milk atadwe milk. Your videos are such a pleasure to watch. Thank you
+Mary Harris I think I know where I can get some Tigernuts from, in London. It might be a possibility 🙏🏾
Ndudu by Fafa still waiting ma'am😁
Hey Fafa...thanks for the upload. Question; could I also use peanut butter in this recipe?
Yes you can.
Can I use peanut butter instead and dry pop corn which i need to roast
love
I really like your videos, can I replaced the sugar with honey? Thanks for sharing
Christina Kusi-Appiah yes you can
I have a question: what is the measure of the roasted corn flour? Also, the peanut paste, is it the same.as peanut butter? I see that yours is very pasty when the one in my area is oily. Thanks
nice
+lolo amrai Thank you 😘
Please I need a video on eli kaklo
Pls what is the measurement of the roasted corn meal? I love these and I said let me check if some one made it on YT, and here you are. Thanks but I need to know the cornmeal measurements pls.
Equal amount to the groundnut paste. The written recipe link is in the description box 😘😘 Can’t wait to read your feedback ❤️ Enjoy!
My favorite dessert where do you get the corn mail if you stay in America
I’m in the UK and had it sent from Ghana.
Hello Fafa. I like the way you just relax, laughing and gaving funs in your videos. Thats a good spirit.
Hi Fafa, how're you doing nyesi. Can I place an order. Please reply dzowevi my favorite
Coming soon ❤️❤️
Lovely
Thank you
😘😘
How did you get the cornmeal flour? I'm not home, and the cornmeal available at the African/Caribbean store where I live doesn't have the tom brown flour texture.
+Akpene Maxwella This is tricky if you can't get hold of the authentic corn meal. If you at least had the milled dried corn, I'll have advised you roasted it in the oven😥
Mesi, akpe! Will be looking out for folks visiting home :)
Akpene Maxwella can't you buy online like on Amazon?
I've not even thought about that; thank you! I will look it up. Hope the shipping cost doesn't cost a fortune :)
Hello mum, good evening Ghana, can you please use wheet in place of cornflour??
I know Rice flour is also used for this recipe so I can’t see why Wheat cannot be used. Let me know how it turns out 😘😘
OK dearest,thanks a lot
Hello Fafa, please can I add tom brown instead of the roasted corn flour ?
Linus Danny Jnr. Yes you can. I’m yet to try the roasted rice version 🙏🏽
Ndudu by Fafa thank you 🙏🏾 wow .. roasted rice! That would be amazing!! Can’t wait!
wait do you have to use the cloves cause I'm allergic
You can omit it altogether 😂
Lol go girl Ewes rock
Please can you use water if you don't have groundnut oil
Yes you can 😉
What type of corn did you use?😘
Toasted Ghanaian corn flour (Pure Tom Brown).
please make tigernut milk. Atagu milk. for us.
+Kudy El Mahmood I don't have any Tigernut available now, however when I do, I'll put it up. 😘
please make Dzowe and package for sale
Egbea nyemetsilegueo Too funny😀😀 Fafa You are a treasure to our ewe culture. I am ewe from Togo living in Canada. Please don't give out all our secrets ooh keep some, I saw one of those people who cut up meat and dump it in water calling it soup discrediting you about your oil free okra soup and I was angry. Keep it up. God bless you.
Thank you gorgeous for your encouraging words. I prefer not to dabble in negativity that’s engrossed in ignorance. A little research from these individuals will highlight the similarities and differences in most cultures across the continent. Every tribe has its own method and ways of cooking the same ingredients. They’re happy exhibiting their intolerance for other tribes rather than seek knowledge. 😘😘
You never know who may benefit from her sharing.
😘😘😘😘😘
😘😘
Hello Fafa
When there is enough ginger and gloves, it's a remedy for cough
