For some reason, I thought it was because there was a 20000 Leagues Under the Sea movie, where the main cast was played by kids. It was really obscure, though.
Idk if you knew this or not, but in Fate/Nasuverse ranking stuff, + and - do not denote intermediate rankings (in lore, that is). Instead, they denote that the thing being ranked can be greater (or lesser) than its normal rank under the right conditions. so Nemo having Voyager of the Storm C++ means that it’s normally at C rank, but can be greater (I believe stronger than A? there’s a chart for it, I don’t remember). In this case, the ++ would probably apply either underwater or in void space. Another interesting example with this is Jason’s third skill at rank B++, Since it gives a good few buffs to Argonauts, but is otherwise an A rank Charisma with 2 extra turns of cooldown. So, in summary, the +’s fit Nemo, and pls do a Jason episode.
That's a tad confusing. Why not just rank it up from C to B then? I'll get to Jason eventually, once I get around to the monolith that will be all of the Greek Mythology servants. Seriously, the only country with more servants in FGO is Japan itself.
@@CrazyYurie Because its would-be higher rank is dependent on the battlefield, due to Nemo’s leadership being specialized to captaining the Nautilus/Storm Border, giving it an all around higher rank would be unfitting. However, when he is in his element, he can rival the best. Therefore, C++. And as for the Greek Mythology thing, __man__ that couldn’t come sooner.

After the next batch, I'll probably do another "category poll" where I'll start with geographic areas before narrowing things down further.
It's a real damn shame the Nautilus and eventual Storm Border basically never actually get to do anything other than cart us from point A to... Well, not actually point B, it's always grounded or blown up or rendered useless before then. Seriously, if you like Nemo, you'll get so little of him being a badass since the story always relegates him to 'Video Game Helicopter' level's of failed transportation.
Nice video! While Nemo's one of a decent bunch of servants who have fgo nonsense added onto him (being a phantom spirit), the fact that this weirdness of identity is both a character point, and a major theme of his starring event means it's pretty well placed here. (Also, he does briefly mention his love of playing music, in his My Room line of his Likes.)

Yeah... I looked for the materials but could not find them translated. I still think I managed ok with my own interpretation of things. As for the genders of the Nemo series, from what I understand Baker, Nurse, and Engineer are female, while the Marines are male. I'm not sure about Professor.

The reason Nemo's Voyager of the Storm skill is the lowest isn't because the Nautalis is a submarine, its because the ship is so good that he can ignore some of the less dangerous conditions it would face at sea

@@CrazyYurie the funny thing about captain nemo is that there is discrepancy on how old he actually is 20k leagues under the sea takes place between 1867 and 1868 where he is described as having an indiscernible age though the PoV individual phrased it as apparently not being able to eyeball nemo's age if he was in his 30s or 50s so nothing actually evidential but we can probably expect him be either a young man or maybe middle aged here yet nothing concrete at all but then in the mysterious island not only does he die in 1868 of old age in his late 60s but also states that the events that happen in 20k leagues under the sea actually happened 16 years earlier so hes simultaneously a young boy and old man at the same time if you don't consider 20k leagues under the sea and the mysterious island as being different continuity
I don't know if someone else already mentioned this in another comment, but in an interview with Nasu (source trust me bro, I forgot which one it was) he mentioned that the reason they made Nemo look younger is simply because he wanted to tackle the character from an angle that no one had done before, so in a way to differentiate FGO Nemo from all the other versions of the Captain.
I just hope nemo's hair tips being blue is a reference to triton being poseidon's son, bcs it helps me headcanon shinji being vessel for poseidon as a demi-servant

I've realized across your previous videos (I don't know if you realize about this down the line, but), that you seem think the phantom fusion is optional when it's not. Phantom Spirits cannot be Heroic Spirits nor Servant on their own (because in stay night they randomly decided fictional characters that don't come from myth cannot be Servant). This means most literary Servant are either "real people in Fate" (to bypass this restriction), like Jekyll and Dantes, and/or with a legend too weak to actually exist as Servant, which is the case of most phantom spirits. Thus, the fusion *is* needed for the Spirit Origin to be stable. In Shinjuku the choices were due to practicality in Moriarty's plan (the Freeshooter) or because of compatibility between the components/boost the main phantom's capabilities. Sherlock and Moriarty are a weird case though. They both seem to be in a limbo where they could've probably been summonable on their own but they're ambiguous about their existence in Fate's version of history and they still have something else mixed in.
No I understood that much, but it isn't always the case. Also my argument isn't against Phantom Spirits, but rather to have a pairing that actually makes sense. Nemo and Triton? That works. Moriarty and Max? Not so much.

By the way na has some mistranslations and weird choices in translation, that’s why many don’t like na, biggest examples are tree of emptiness and void space, trees of emptiness are in actuality called galaxy/fantasy tree for some reason na decided oh we gonna call it completely unrelated to what it actually is, and than void space is the biggest offender, because it’s actually called sea of immaginary numbers and it’s tied to the idea it’s a space in which to navigate u have to calculate mathematical formulas to render a clear route cause otherwise as seen in immaginary scramble u risk of crashing in stuff that u can’t see cause it hasn’t been calculated in a form u can perceive its also the same space tiamat was sealed in before being releaced, the existance of this concept dates back to the fate stay night vn where immaginary numbers is the origin of sakura matou the only 2 know people to have this origin in type moon is lev and sakura. I’m pretty sure Nemo’s body is form Triton so that’s why he’s so young

We hardly ever have conflict in "Void Space". The most obvious place this comes up is during the "Imaginary Scramble" event.
