- Some pointers on small things that weren't covered by admintuning's intake install video. There were some small things that he skipped which we thought would be nice to cover to make it more simpler and easier. Some clips at the end also of the flame and burble map after getting the car tuned.

are you a fan of the red lining element? i know his tunes you have to redline for pops and bangs/flame
Honestly that's the biggest downside. If you want big pops and flames, have to rev to 7k. Which isn't the best for the motor over a long time
Hey man - for the PCV hoses; do you have to cap them right at the manifold, or can you leave the hoses connected to the manifold, and cap them at the end of the hose that connected to the stock airboxes?
Apologies for late response, you can cap them at the end of the hose as well but having the cap secure to the hose is harder. Ultimately, decision is yours, capping at manifold or hose won't be different from one another in terms of driveability.

If ypure running catch cans, isnt the tube thats supposed to go to the intakes still gonna be loose?
I dont think so. I'm getting mine in the mail tomorrow from z1 motorsports. I think it was 400 bucks for the whole set. Its suppose to Siphon the oil so most of it doesn't go back into the throttle bodies. I think lol. Trust me, you will want these to have longevity of the engine 🤙🏽
@@Hondacbr600rrish nice thats cool. But the catch cans still dont eliminate the pcv valves that connect to intakes like the gen 3. The catch cans you got only connect to the two front pcv valves. Admin intakes dont have a pcv connection, so where does that tube go? Do we just have to cap the valve?
I would think so. To delete it. I'll take a look.
@@Hondacbr600rrish i asked moncef from admintuning and he said we have yo vent the valve covers with the catch cans and cap the intake manifold. If you get the 3" intakes, you cant run the catch cans the same way as the instructions. The in and out go to the valve covers only and the two valves on the manifold need to be capped.

Did the 3 inch intakes make difference?
Sure did
did you need to upgrade to 3” throttle bodies? if you did can you name what brand and model you used
Stock throttle bodies were kept
What #’s did you end up making with what other mods? If you don’t mind me asking .
We havnt dyno tuned it yet. Guess is 310awhp most likely
Im deciding between these or gen 3. What do you think? Im going to get a tune regardless. How has you experience been so far with these intakes?
Gen 3 are solid intakes also, however these have proven to make a little more power. So far everything been solid with these. My strut bar slightly rubs against the intakes but other than that no issues
So you can run these without a tune for awhile right ? Or is a tune needed
No you need to tune it as it's 3" tubing

Wouldn't oil leak out where u left the 4 pcv hoses open ?
Yes, we decided to run a catch can system to allow for it to stay within the can. However its not necessary if left open, it vents to the atmosphere and there isnt enough oil coming out to cause any problems. If anything, the max you will get is small oil vapours at high rpms. Either way, a catch can is recommended but not needed

Yes definitely, a catch can helps alot no matter the application

@@il2rock you can leave those open to air or put a catchcan system. It's all upto you. But don't cap them as they need to vent

No still stock throttle bodies
