So we learned 2 things today. 1. These rooms feel like such a breath of freash air after playing the game for ages and knowing them all. 2. Curved halls are cursed in this game
I think it could work if there was some indication as to which door was unlocked before you enter it's hall, like one of the torches being blue fire or something
Most of these look really interesting, so it's sad that we can't access them ingame. I dont see why they couldnt have been used in Specimenless sections (except the curved walls, they look absolutely cursed)
Fun fact: there is a hidden mode called "Endless mode (test)" which only generates multi-doors halls (not the other unused rooms, unfortunately), and all the monsters can actually chase in these rooms. I've been able to play it myself and it's really interesting. However, this hidden mode is NOT accessible by using debug mode.
Multidoor halls are kinda confusing because you'd see a door that just does not work everything else seems fine but a bit out of usual style of the game
Alot of these rooms with locked doors actually allowed specimens to go through them instead of spawning at the same door as you. This could lead to alot of unfair scenarios. Also they have alot of dead ends.
multi halls have a bunch of spawn doors, meaning you have a random chance of spawning at one of those doors at the start of the room, making your journey to the one exit door more of a challenge because you'd need to know how to get to the exit door if you're being chased. A good example would be the room at 4:32. Instead of the room have multiple exit doors, it has multiple spawn doors which are all in different areas of the room.

a funny way that I don't want to say publicly since you're not really _supposed_ to be able to access it. Out of respect for the devs, I'd rather not explain how. But I wanted to showcase these rooms before the next big update for HD which will most likely happen in just a few weeks. 🙂

My explontaion why they are removed (I hope makes sense xd): RenoSomething feels out of place by visual being an only room that have slopes for walls and also just have straight level-design Reno Split-level Ranch could cause alot of bugs in AI Curved Halls are out of place (even where there are plenty of them its still like 5% of all rooms) and could be confusing when first time seeing Multi-door Halls are really confusing for new players, especially if you can actually enter these rooms from different doors and some of rooms are really similar to existing ones

Spooky can considered a great villain for Courage the Cowardly Dog, when Eustance knew there was a treasure in the Mansion
Honestly, that wouldn’t be too far off. I could definitely see, spooky’s jump scare mansion being in couraged the cowardly dog.
Here’s my two reasons why these room are scrapped
1: probably budget cuts
2: ether some of the specimens ai get stuck on the corners
