“Dungeons & Dragons”, the granddaddy of all role-playing games, finally has a movie adaptation that’s going to redefine the adventure genre. “Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves” follows a ragtag party of eccentric adventurers as they try to stop the end of the world - and hopefully get some good loot. We got the cast to do a BuzzFeed quiz to determine whether they’re good, neutral or even evil. “Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves” is out in cinemas now.

They're definitely decently familiar with the game as newbies. I saw someone brought Michelle Rodriguez a big D20 on the red carpet to roll and she was asking what the roll was for and the person who gave it to her didn't actually seem to know or entertain her.
That would really awesome, or just a couple of them as guests for Critical Role, would be nice enough !
@@JusRed23 Read an interview a couple weeks ago about this. The druid and michelle rodriguez had played a fair amount I believe. The others either hadn't played or had only done so a vanishingly small amount. Apparently though as part of prep for the movie, they made them all play a session and reportedly they had a lot of fun and chris pine kept using animal friendship constantly, which I thought was a fun story.

I find it funny that the man who plays the lawful good paladin in the movie is chaotic evil irl lmao
I love how this movie basically got the cast to get into D&D itself, you could tell cause the way they talk about it in interviews and stuff like this is the same way people who've appeared on stuff like critical role start talking about it
Judging from another interview, I think Rege and Justice know a little about it, and Chris learned some from the role, but Michelle and Hugh (and probably Sophia) really don't.

@@SirStrangefolk Oh, maybe so! I remember her being quiet in the interview, Rege and Justice being fans of D&D podcasts or videos, Chris knowing a little, and Hugh and Michelle being completely baffled.
Michelle's played before, she played with Jack Black and Deborah Ann Woll and a few other famous people.

- Wants Deck of Many Things or tries to take a larger share of the treasure
- Shoot magic missile into a crowd of innocent people and laughs
- Sneak away from battle to steal loot and run

I did the test and it took me longer because none of the options were things I'd do, so I had to choose the "least bad"

I don't think he cares about DnD. I've seen him in a few interviews and he doesn't seem to care as much as any of the others.

0:21 Now I'm admittedly not on the up and up about DnD 5.0, but when I played, a wild mage was a type of mage, and a sorcerer was fundamentally different from a mage. Did they change that?
Also, about Doric, everyone says she is a Druid but she doesn't cast a single druid spell and instead just shape-changes a bunch. Now again, when I played, a "Shifter" was a different class then Druid.

They clearly changed many stuff for the movie, so it would be more understandable for all audiences. I mean, the Bard never SANG, for crying out loud!
But the Sorcerer wasn't much different than how it's supposed to be

Yo ever since i saw this movie something has been bugging me and this video only confirms my suspicions. Xenk Yendar Is NOT a paladin! Everyone introduces their character and class except Page( who plays xenk). The others merely think he is a paladin but he never confirms it!
My theory is hes a warlock.
