I have watched every video you have made on this rebuild. of your truck. their priceless ....... it's going to be beautiful... and also I love your choice of music, even started to download some of it ...lol.. bloody well done.....
Once again nice work Gib. If you have never done any kind of restoration work, you will never ever be able to appreciate all the long boring and mundane hours it takes to get an old body straight! It's all in the prep work for damn sure.
What a great job! I love how you filmed all the steps it took to get this far. I still have my sons 56 F100 frame off project from 15 yrs ago and looking at now doing both door skins, cab corners and cowl panels along with new paint. Your attention to detail inspires me. You have to be really proud of how its turning out.
its a beautiful truck and excellent craftsman ship for sure. wen I was 13 I was working at a motor cycle salvage for the summer and I bought a 62 fleet side I wish I still had that truck this brings back memories
thank you man i like your truck and how you do your own work!! thats how i do my truck. it just seems like its taking forever and im anxious but thats the only way we will get it how we want it right?
Great workmanship! I saw in earlier videos that you patched and welded over the backup light sockets, and that you will be using blue dot tails in the remaining sockets. What are you planning to use for backup lights?
The 63 chevy pickups didn't come with the backup lights originally I believe it was an option someone put them in a few years later I think it was around 64-66 when they started using them I just like the original look from the rear
You did an amazing job, Your not only an incredible painter but the buff job was great, what all different compounds did you use? I wish I had 1/10th your talent. Good Job
Your truck is soooo nice already, I can't wait.to see it finished! I bought an Ididit steering column for my 64 c10 and it says that I can't use my original steering wheel. My steering wheel is the same one that you have in your truck. What did you do, or what can I do to make mine work? I would greatly appreciate any advice.
Jeremy Walterr ididit sells a spacer ring for the back of this wheel, installing it without it will leave a gap in the back but it will still bolt on ididit has a video on a vintage steering wheel that shows this, I still had to shave around the back edge of the horn ring to keep it from pushing the ring itself off, also had to drill a new hole for the horn/spring button on the inside of the wheel
Seen pretty much all videos on this build looks bad ass!! One question I might have missed the answer what system are you using for paint ? Ppg sherwinwiliams, hok, or something cheaper thanks man nice work
Fantastic great job thanks for buff info look forward to see you mount it on truck and install trim. Are you to far to bring that truck to Goodguys at Charlotte NC in September. Sure would like to see it.
Once again, AWESOME!!! I'm inspired, I'm trying to decide which route to take as to leave the bed at 8ft or cut down. What engine are your running in your C10? if you don't mind sharing. I have the original 283, but I'm considering just purchasing a 350. thanks
Kinda nice those beds can be taken completely apart . I was gonna ask if your going pine painted black or oak but you answered me at the end of the video LOL Truck is going to be amazing !!!!

Nice work
U build that cart just for doing the truck bed?
I also used the cart for the cab, that's what i built it for originally
That's awesome. I'm assuming there are a ton of hours into this truck. Looks amazing. What was the weather like when u painted. How warm or cool temp?
+Dewey Smith it was hot and above 95 degrees every time I painted a panel
Legit 😎
looks great you should be very proud later
Ever notice that sometimes the best tool for the job is just your good old fingernail?
