Ty for the audio! Very informative. I hope to see this beauty in person. Our family recently discovered YDNA testing show us as Clan McNeil of Gigha and linked to men descended from Torquil McNeil from the 1500’s.

Beautiful video!!! Several years ago, after much research, my mother and I found our McNeill relatives and traveled to Gigha to visit their homeland. Beautiful island, wonderul people, and a fantastic visit. I would love to go again.

Glad you enjoyed the video Beth and great that you and your mother were able to revisit this beautiful island which was home to your McNeil relatives. Hopefully you both will be able to revisit the island again at some time in the future. Ben J W Anthony

Beautiful wee island - l went their as a child with my mother and father 50 years ago - my mothers sister with her husband and kids lived on a farm there ...l was maybe three or four- l can remember going to the beach 🏖 being terrorised by crabs 🦀 in a wee pool 🤣🤣🤣-l remember sitting in the farm house kitchen eating and laughing , watching everyone happy 😆-my cousins teasing me in the court yard - newly born kittens , cows in the shed and lots of hens ....my dad digging a trench and seeing an otter 🦦 crazy what you can remember at such a young age - once this covid has lifted l will definitely return - l think l will take my dad he can show me around ❤️❤️❤️❤️
