My head troubles me a bit, it has definitely improved, I just hate the winter. My meds have helped. I know the triggers, and I avoid them, but theres just times when you can't, and you suffer a bit. It's damn good to talk! No stigma nowadays. More walking and swimming have done no end of good! Just love Dawn's crack, it's a beauty! Being a night warrior I get to see it a lot!
I think the younger you are the less stigma there is about talking about it, but anyone over the age of 50 struggles and certainly if your over the age of 60 - it's perceived as a weakness and that is just not right.
Yes mental health is very important to us all l went from being active to house bound l been a truck driver love it on road with vovlo f88 and daf 3300 left hand drive get times In to radio control trucks now your videos are great 👍
Jools... you're right about mental health.. I think as much interaction as possible wih friends and contacts is important. Doing things for others is very important too..there is more happiness in giving than in receiving. If the world's problems upset us, don't spend ages looking at the news!! Never be afraid to ask a question as to how to do something (I've done that a few times!!). Try to get some exercise.. eat properly, get enough rest... Have other interests... my radio interviews have probably helped me more than I know, especially throught the pandemic. Develop a positive view of the future... I'm still working on these things myself...and have a sense of humour!!
Hi Jools, how are you and Kiria, i hope you both have a great weekend, as you know i suffer with mental health issuses since Jackie passed away, my advice to any one is to talk about it and dont be ashamed to talk about it, i also have a dog and the amount of people i chat to , stay safe mate 👍👍👍🚛
my wife suffers badly with her mental health, the things i have seen and been through with her is horrible, im the type of person to not talk about things going on in my own head and put her problems first been her carer.
Trouble is that by bottling it up it brings you down which makes you less able to help those that really need it, so you must take care of yourself as well mate!
the more you try help people, put your effort into making people happy, the happier you will be , can be as simple as showing someone a smile
Yep, that's all it takes sometimes!

All good valid thoughts Peter, I think we all know what we should be doing, it's just that sometimes it's difficult to actually do them.
