Jools, you require the patience of a saint to put up with delays, motorway chancers and black smoke drifting across the motorway....

Modern day driving these days, I try not to worry about it, you can't change the outcome, my only aim is to get myself and the truck back in one piece. Speed is not a priority. Nothing is that important.

Jools Shap Summit, 916ft/279m, is the highest point on the West Coast main line. Passing steam train specials are popular with enthusiasts and photographers. The summit of the A6 road over Shap Fell is 1392ft/426m above sea level

Yes I do still tramp, I don't tend to record in truckstops etc not really my thing. My videos usually span a full day on the road from start to finish.

It's high up - and not the sort of place to get stranded on a winters night!

Jools stott hill farm 62 divides for much of its length between the Windy Hill and Deanhead cuttings because of the surrounding geography; but a myth[11] persists that it was split because Ken and Beth Wild refused to sell.[9] However, the farm was actually owned by Yorkshire Water at the time the M62 was built.[12]
