Yes! You are absolutely right. Tobias is a musical genious and a mastermind in thinking that you're listening to a happy and upbeat song. But it is not. That's why with Ghost it's important to get the whole picture just like you do. Some reactors just listen to the music and misses out on the lure and it's sad that don't take the extra five minutes to understand. I will be following your journey with Ghost. I'm not a "metal" fan. Call Me Little Sunshine is the first song I'd ever heard by Ghost and now I'm OBSESSED. I love this song though. It's one of my faves. Tobias Forge is a genius.

this IS actually, how a satanic song suppose to sound.. tempting, attractive, lure you in.. a sound for the masses, smart! Not the loony, mumbling, so called "satanic music", where even satan himself might be puzzled with, like " what the f.. they said about me?" :))
Satan is a chill dude. God wrote a whole book to diss him, but Satan didn't say a word. He's being the grown man in it.

If you're interested you can listen to Tobias Forges former band "Repugnant" which actually is a death metal band as it is supposed to sound. His roots comes from there.
He also had a band called Subvision which is more Ghost but without Satan. :-D
The best example in Ghosts repertoire of what you talked about regarding "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled" is the song "He is".
