My current playthrough I’ve focussed on using plants and stealth during combat. Chucking cabbages off of cliffs onto poachers, sneaking up behind a sleeping dungbug and pulling a mandrake etc. its been really fun and given my character a real backstory/RP. I mainly used the plant upgrade traits on my gear to maximize the effect. Its felt more realistic playing a school kid taking on enemies this way as appose to blasting every competent adult wizard to oblivion with a spell I learnt in class the day before. Its been a very different playthrough compared to the first which is how I expect most will play. If you go for a second playthrough and want to mix it up I’d recommend focussing on combat plants and stealth. It sounds lame but its really fun watching pachers getting mauled by cabbages while trying to figure out what on earth is happening.
I had no idea about that final house cup quest! I sorta rushed through the main story on my first play through and wasn’t high enough in level to see it pop up. It was kind of weird to me the game just kinda stopped after the final boss fight.
For me , once Mainquest ends...the game ends. Why bother with appearances, optimising gear etc when there is nothing left to do? I do all sidemissions and so on before the mainqueast and found nearly all stuff. If your going for 100% sure...go ahead but for me nomreason to log in other than starting new character/house.
i finished the main quests and am just flying arround doing whatever i come across,i love that mobs respawn so the engame quality is pretty good as are the remaining puzzles and collectables. it gives the game a good long gavity.
An easy way to do the Jumping onto stones Merlin trial is to use your broom. It seems to be touching the ground that resets the vines. Broom over the top of each and it’s done.
@L_O_W_K_E_Y-G to be fair nothing anywhere has said this is canon. In fact JK Rowling didn't write the story, and only what JK Rowling has written can be considered canon; unless she's directly said so.
I made the mistake of completing everything 100% before the last main quest thinking you’d be awarded for completing your handy note book. Nope, nothing at all, your told you did lots but your book still need to a lot of filling out to do! Like frig right off. There is nothing to do. I even collected all the albino beasts
I have done 4 complete run-through's of this game. All my characters are level 40, all have completed 100% collectables. all are dressed to the hilt in Legendary Lev 40 114/36 gear, all have done every maze, every Merlin Trial, and entered every single Treasure Vault. On the minus side, not one of my Rooms of Requirement, or Vivariums has been decorated, so I can still put a few dozen hours into the game to rectify that... hoping we get DLC at some point.
Would be Nice to have few new spells in the DLC such as expecto patronum, rictus sempra and (everte?) static etc, and Quidditch matches along with longer main story and maybe you continue in 6th grade and that you can visit another place in a quest line and you fight dementors 🙏🏻😍
took me 9 months to finally beat this game, i restarted over and over again because i didnt want it to end but tonight i finally beat it as my lil hufflepuff oc, genuinely such a good story but now i feel so empty
I just hope that I can play the game slowly after finishing the game like doing side quests and maybe I can resume it when there is a big update/dlc (hopefully).
I have now 100% complete the game. there is nothing left.. I'm only missing a couple of achievements on steam.. play each house ect.. and I'm sad that there is nothing more to do. so I have no uninstalled the game. I would love to have had more end game content to play.
lol did them all, challenges, mazes upgraded gear, and to be honest probably might have a few chest i didnt pick up in hogwarts but other then that everything in the world and hogsmede i got everything and visisted it like 10x over :). at this point there is nothing else to do so i moved on to wild hearts. if hogwart legacy had multiplayer, quidich, or pvp then for sure there still be alot more to do, content to create and for sure it wont be as boring as with any rpg game once you finish the main objective and side quests.
Everybody saying it should’ve been longer but it was the longest story game I have ever played. This game did not fail my expectations. And i am on my repository main quest but I don’t wanna do it until I finish all my side quests
I could finish the main quests and some side quests, get to 30 lvls and up, and finish my character playstyle build in 3 days. After that I just start another character to try out other playstyle with roleplay….merlin trials, goals, arenas are just too plain and lame for me to continue playing. Dunno what to do with the game anymore, I just fly around and diffendo and Avada random fellow poachers.
Do the Merlin trial whenever you want. I didnt do them at all and never ran into inventory issues, if you just empty your gear whenever you come by a vendor
I feel like instead of dlc they shou do a sequel where your just graduated from hogwarts and there's an infamous type story with a good and evil function. Since you aren't a student a cool new setting would be an entry-level aurour/intern type job in london with architecture corresponding to the year it's set in. Maby the good arc is accidentally uncovering a dark wizard cult doing some truly evil magic (sacrifices of th human variety) and trying to build enough power to over throw muggle reality starting in London but expanding into neighboring land. As the good story goes you bring it to the attention of your superior aurour and are quickly dismissed as over exited and fresh. Slowly the minestry catches on to this mystery cult only after they've done their horrible deeds and leav a messy scene behind and by the time the misestry assembles a couter team it's too late and this cult have already begun invading muggle reality and it's up to you as the good guy to protect the unsuspecting muggles from the threat of a dark wizard cult invading in old era london free roam and sort of a base or cult gathering feature like in spider-man ps4 crime bases and as you progress in the good guy story saving people and taking down these cult bases their grip slips and they do so big ritual that turns their magic on them and unleashed a buge magic elemental that storms around london in the end game and the last mission is fighting it and post game london will be visibly damaged but the more time you spend in post game the more the city gets rebuilt and after being exposed to muggles you can do around clearing debris and repairoing small shops and the like. The evil plot is you stumbled onto a cult and after trying to get the ministry to do something they laugh and refuse to believe your claims and fire you for being "unstable for your position". Angry and now broke on the streets of London you go to the cult and they welcome you and ask for your help in defending them while they prepare to liberate wizard kind through dark magic harnessing ancient evil ritual, you dont actually do the sacrificing but perhaps you could be the one who finds and rakes the sacrifice or you defend the cultists from ministry aurours trying to interrupt the ritual and "keep wizard kind oppressed" it all come to a head after the cult leader do a intense dark ritual that takes the magic of all the cultists performing the ritual and turns in into magical malace and infuse the cult leader(or you the mc) and together with your cult you rampage throughout london defeating the defense put up by the ministry and their late response and the muggles and their weapons and after subduing london the fame ends with you gaining a high position in the cult that now had a dictatorship hold over london and evil post game is going around intimidating civilians and forcing shops to pay taxes to the cult to buld finances for the cult and upgrade the newly claimed headquarters in a large important building in london and you can rebuild parts of the city to reflect the cult and their new rule aswell as upgrade your base ant other parts of london under your cults control like in assassins cree when you upgrade your villa and the shops for better prices and possibly better gear like muggle militairy garbs and officers swords and stuff that wizard wouldn't normally use
i feel like after story line end the game is super boring.all the dungeons are boring. you need to solve simple puzzle to unlock it and most of them is just one room with a chest. the loots make it even more boring. merlin trial is simple just annoying and repetitive puzzle you spent most time looking for the object for the puzzle than solving the puzzle itself. fighting in different conner of the map is exciting the first time but once you fly around using revelio every conner of the map to find all the collectable it become tiring really fast. I think the game is great but the open world is not as good as i though it would be. it's beautiful and exciting to see the world beyond hogwarts but damn is boing. i was expecting something like elden ring world maybe not as big but i expected different location to have different thing to discover but considered how the loots is nothing but the gear that doesn't really have anything special from them make it very not special. 60 hours in.almost complete 100% and can't rescue biscuit because of the key unlock bug i think i have enough. fun game over all
I feel like the loot dungeon things, "treasure vaults" or whatever they are called, were VERY boring. A small tunnel that leads to a basic ass chest with some random gear, they were never worth it, unless you really need money I guess
Elden Ring was created by people who actually know what they're doing, which is why it was a masterpiece. This game was created by people who seem like they've never actually played video games.
My PS5 Collections trophy is bugged I just need one conjuration and I'm stuck at 139/140 after finding every collection chest according to the game. This includes the 12 chests inside all four vivarium rooms. This is a well known bug and the devs are aware of it. It seems to be linked to a bugged chest when chasing butterflies. Hopefully it gets patched soon.
@@Dannydarko27 definitely lots of visual bugs, some of the infamous foes skull icons remain on the map after you kill them. Took me forever to track down the last one, a troll in a dungeon that was part of a quest that just popped up on the map.
After the honeymoon phase of the game wore off. I still really enjoy it but I feel like we’re overlooking things just cause it’s Harry Potter. The loot system is very bare and only saved by transmog. Endgame is non-existent. The game feels very grindy between demiguise, field pages, 95 Merlin trials that give almost nothing and by the time you’ve filled your room the game is over and nothing is left to do. Flight controls are terrible and the best quest is locked behind the PS5, which I have but don’t agree with. Good game but people are not being objective with it
I just mash-skip on all Dialogues and cutscenes. Then choose the nice option. Going to replay and do the same evil. As far as post story goes. What story?
Wish this game had more? Pretty much have done everything that isn’t a pain in the ass got like 85% field guide and only like 60ish hours? Idk I just feel like there is so much content in this world. Wish there was more interaction with hogwarts itself more classes and stuff inside the actual school instead of the surrounding area.
I got this game like two or 3 months after it’s release & I just finished the main quest just yesterday lol I’m only %59 of completion. I think I pretty much completed Sebastian, Poppy, & Natty side quests as well. To be honest idk if I will fully complete it now. Im not as interested in the game anymore.
As for the room of requirement, I have no interest in cosmetic decorations tbh, I customized my walls, ceilings, floors, etc, but as for anything else that's supposed to make my room of requirement better looking? I'm good, just got all the useful things set down and that's all I need, anything else is a waste of time
i usually try to do everything possible and be a boss before finishing the game. i love wearing just pajamas and a cape with a pumpkin head. i notice if you wear pajamas some NPC will say things to you about it :b thanks for the intel
I will say, I regret learning Aveda Kedavra. It is cool early on, but it REALLY breaks the game when you get the chain kill perk. Once you have it, it also is way too difficult to resist the temptations to fall back on it as a way to speed through shit like "killing trolls." I wish that there was more dueling club events. Like I want a full fight club type thing with the other students, and the added mechanic that you can choose to make them match your stats for added difficulty. Dueling club is a pretty great fight practice mechanic, and it would be fun to have a way to have a reliable and quick way to go back to it, rather than rely on flying around and cleaning out camps. Especially for people who level past their mechanical abilities or for those who want to practice new combos without having to dodge unblockable curses ever 3 seconds.
Hey JorRaptor. Has anyone done a direct comparison between Hogwarts legacy, and Star Wars Jedi fallen order? With Jedi survivor coming up, I recently re-played Fallen Order. I’d just finished Hogwarts legacy and couldn’t believe the similarities between gameplay and storylines. The two games are almost mirror images of each other. Am I crazy? Your thoughts? Btw, lots of love for all your videos for both games❤️🥰 looking forward to Jedi survivor videos👍🏻
My plan is to do as little side quest as possible and just focus on the main quest. After i beat the story i can just make my own role play as i play the remaining side quest
This was my wife's first true game experience. Shes been entirely immersed and is at 70%, with story completed. I've waited 15 years for her to find a game to play. Now I'm looking for what she can play next. Very difficult.
I finished the main quersts few days ago ... Now I've finished the rest stories like with Poppy, Natty Mr. Moon. I'm level 32 and still can't finish school LOL I'm not going for platinum, but I think I'll be done with the game after I reach level 34. I've to buy 2 new games.
Sidenote one of the infamous foes is glitched and doesn't count torward the overall progression and preventing people from getting the trophy/achievement
I was just about to say this I’ve been using Revelio over and over and it appears on the map but when I go to fight the infamous foe it seems to not count lol.
Something id really suggest is leaving the legendary chests until youre max level, otherwise youll end up at the end of the game with some gear at level 32 with no other legendary gear to collect
I got to level 40. At that point all you can do is collect the chests and desmíguese left. Other than that there’s nothing left to do other than roam around and fight off enemies. I wish they did what Skyrim did where quests are infinite, self generated minor quest to give you a purpose to keep playing.
@@LiverpoolBJJ yeah and there isnt a difference no matter what house except when you beat him in the duel at the start he will note that you are not a Slytherin
Never been one to 100% these kind of games. To me i still enjoy the game very thoroughly by doing as many of the missions as possible and finishing the story. Getting all comestics and stuff feels arbitrary and after the point to me. If you wanna 100 then do so but ill be switching to another game and enjoying that as well organically.
I will say, replaying the game from each house might be worth it. My gf and I play on my acct and her main story as a hufflepuf was slightly different than mine as a gryffindor.
I really wish there was a NG+ I really don't want to chase down all that clothing again. I did an animal run where I collected every single color of each gender plus a pair of the shinies.
The lack of postgame really lets it down. It's a fantastic game and worth the price, for sure, but there's no content worth doing once you've got Platinum. Hopefully, they will add something in the future.
Harming Npcs, being able to go to Azkaban, and being able to sneak around the castle at night would’ve helped replayability. I finished the story and unlike gta, there’s literally nothing to do. I have like 20k coins to spend
i want to do other house playthroughs but it also doesn’t let me skip through dialogue which is a pain cus rather not have to wait through some of the really long dialogues
Idk if this will help but on PS5 tapping triangle skips through dialogue, doesn’t work every time though (specifically dialogue and cutscenes the game really wants you to see)

I randomly stumbled across the south battle arena at like level 17 and man, that was the most intense series of battles I’ve had in this game.
I had no idea about that final house cup quest! I sorta rushed through the main story on my first play through and wasn’t high enough in level to see it pop up. It was kind of weird to me the game just kinda stopped after the final boss fight.
I highly recommend getting the house relic robe because it goes really well with the regalia or legendary cosmetic set
I was high as fuck and was frustrated then I got on my broom and life never been so simple bro 😂😂😂😂😂😂
it got patched
@@TuurtleBobz I used it 30 mins ago. Need to check if I have an update that hasn’t been applied.

I REALLY wish they'd give you the time turner at 100% completion. Ng+ would be rad in this game
@L_O_W_K_E_Y-G to be fair nothing anywhere has said this is canon. In fact JK Rowling didn't write the story, and only what JK Rowling has written can be considered canon; unless she's directly said so.
@L_O_W_K_E_Y-G nice headcanon, but that's not actual canon.
Brave of you to assume i havent done every sidequest possible before finishing the story 😅
I made the mistake of completing everything 100% before the last main quest thinking you’d be awarded for completing your handy note book. Nope, nothing at all, your told you did lots but your book still need to a lot of filling out to do! Like frig right off. There is nothing to do. I even collected all the albino beasts
You have to collect all the field pages before doing the house cup. Thats the only thing that mattered
I did all of these before finishing the main quest. I love this game but I do wish it had some dedicated post story stuff.
How do you manage to post so much content!? I really like all you've been putting out. Much respect. Keep it up! 😉
Well it's not hard when it pretty much copies everyone else
It’s not just him working this channel there is afew people
Would be Nice to have few new spells in the DLC such as expecto patronum, rictus sempra and (everte?) static etc, and Quidditch matches along with longer main story and maybe you continue in 6th grade and that you can visit another place in a quest line and you fight dementors 🙏🏻😍
most of this should be done before endgame the end game is just a beautiful flight sim currently.
Yeah i enjoy a flight sim like game with battle😅
Maybe they could add a feature where you can use the pensives to replay story missions
A massive DLC they could drop would be like year 6 hahahahha that would be so dope, or like some fun as DLC THEY HAVE SO MANY options. Great game
The game desperately needs more content.
Almost no one mentioned this. You can get a haircut and change your look (hair, colour & eyebrows) completely at a shop in Hogsmade.
It took me a while to find it but once I did I went in there often.
Beat it in 36 hours and now im going for the 100% all collections, all achievements, max level, and also trying to get the most money possible for fun
I have been doing SOoo many side quests and puzzles. I just got Bimbardo at level 31.
took me 9 months to finally beat this game, i restarted over and over again because i didnt want it to end but tonight i finally beat it as my lil hufflepuff oc, genuinely such a good story but now i feel so empty
I'm clearing all camps, all Merlin trials, trying find all wide quest, doing everything I can do make the story slow lol
I just hope that I can play the game slowly after finishing the game like doing side quests and maybe I can resume it when there is a big update/dlc (hopefully).
Fantastic video. Straight and to the point.
I have now 100% complete the game. there is nothing left.. I'm only missing a couple of achievements on steam.. play each house ect.. and I'm sad that there is nothing more to do. so I have no uninstalled the game.
I would love to have had more end game content to play.
The game JUST came out two weeks ago lol
@@mattcollins3591 It only took 3 days to complete. :D
lol did them all, challenges, mazes upgraded gear, and to be honest probably might have a few chest i didnt pick up in hogwarts but other then that everything in the world and hogsmede i got everything and visisted it like 10x over :). at this point there is nothing else to do so i moved on to wild hearts. if hogwart legacy had multiplayer, quidich, or pvp then for sure there still be alot more to do, content to create and for sure it wont be as boring as with any rpg game once you finish the main objective and side quests.
It really is best to do as many side quests as you can and put off the main quest. That way you can best enjoy all the GAINZ.
I just finished the main story and the last couple quests
i feel like after story line end the game is super boring.all the dungeons are boring. you need to solve simple puzzle to unlock it and most of them is just one room with a chest.
the loots make it even more boring. merlin trial is simple just annoying and repetitive puzzle you spent most time looking for the object for the puzzle than solving the puzzle itself.
fighting in different conner of the map is exciting the first time but once you fly around using revelio every conner of the map to find all the collectable it become tiring really fast.
Damn, my infamous foes bugged out too. Really makes doing everything feel pointless
@@Dannydarko27 definitely lots of visual bugs, some of the infamous foes skull icons remain on the map after you kill them. Took me forever to track down the last one, a troll in a dungeon that was part of a quest that just popped up on the map.
If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of tv or monitor are you running?
Awesome info, thank you
Finally finished my first play through and I'm excited to see how the game progresses in the future...
Do new enemies spawn after the mainquest? Do bandid camps stay empty? Is there still combat?
I always do all the side missions before I finish the game, once im done with the story I don’t want to play anymore
me, having done everything. waiting for the video to tell me sth i can do. having done EVERYTHING and having 129/130 chests only for it to be a bugg.
What story?
Holy sheet this taught me a lot.
I’m level 30 and I have to get to level 34 for the house cup what do I do/?
Wish this game had more? Pretty much have done everything that isn’t a pain in the ass got like 85% field guide and only like 60ish hours? Idk I just feel like there is so much content in this world. Wish there was more interaction with hogwarts itself more classes and stuff inside the actual school instead of the surrounding area.
I agree. Also, more immersive crafting.
How do seasons work in the postgame? Can you change them at will or does it stick to only one specific season?
Unless i missed something, it just stays in summer.
The main story changes the seasons at certain points. Only changes I know of.
Postgame is permanent spring
@@truespeedsonic78 Would be cool if there was a spell to change it. Like in Ghost of Tsushima
@@MladenMihajlovic Would be sick yeah. Or like when you talk to Deek to change your room of requirements time of day.
all i have left is 5 merlin trials and maybe 30 field guide pages in hogwarts, then i’ll be restarting the game as a evil slytherin
Make sure you demand payment or keep long lost pets. Many options in chat to be evil.
Once you have it, it also is way too difficult to resist the temptations to fall back on it as a way to speed through shit like "killing trolls."
I wish that there was more dueling club events.
The game pretty much takes about 120 ish hours to get 100%. Reallllyyy hope the release new content
Wow you must have done well in charms I just finished the main quests 20 min ago and hopped on yt
I would like to know how to complete the underwater treasure vault near Keensbridge by someone who talks on their video please!!
My plan is to do as little side quest as possible and just focus on the main quest. After i beat the story i can just make my own role play as i play the remaining side quest
Large health bar? AVADA KADAVRAAAAA
I'm 96% done and feel empty now 🥺
This was my wife's first true game experience.
It was fine for me
Can you include obliviate self to forget the playthrough and start fresh again?
Wish you could start a new game with all of your gear / spells unlocked like in Spider-Man
What outfit / appearance are you wearing in the thumbnail
Can you do the mazes even before ending the game?
Something id really suggest is leaving the legendary chests until youre max level, otherwise youll end up at the end of the game with some gear at level 32 with no other legendary gear to collect
I mean you can buy legendary gear so
I got to level 40. At that point all you can do is collect the chests and desmíguese left. Other than that there’s nothing left to do other than roam around and fight off enemies. I wish they did what Skyrim did where quests are infinite, self generated minor quest to give you a purpose to keep playing.
This channel has been so helpful, I wouldn’t know anything without y’all so thank you 🙏🏼
Right now I'm in the Southern part making my way North as I clear out the map.
Is finishing the main missions when you reach level 34 to play the house cup mission ?
ive already done 2 of the 4 houses and on my 3rd full run
Is there much difference for each houses missions etc?
@@LiverpoolBJJ nah, just like one or two missions that are all at the start of the game and some dialogue variants when speaking with NPCs.
@@LiverpoolBJJ well the quest for jackdaw has a different way to find him for each house other than that its cosmetic
@@sydaemanic1587 thanks mate, what about all the missions with Sebastian etc? Do you do them still even though your with a different house?
@@LiverpoolBJJ yeah and there isnt a difference no matter what house except when you beat him in the duel at the start he will note that you are not a Slytherin
Hopefully they add more dlc story things to extend playtime
I love the game. I just beat it the other day. They need to create a storage unit for us to be able to put our stuff that we like.
Unfortunately I did all of those before I finished the main storyline. :P
I really wish there was a NG+ I really don't want to chase down all that clothing again.
I did an animal run where I collected every single color of each gender plus a pair of the shinies.
Can we still go to classes everyday after the main story?
The lack of postgame really lets it down. It's a fantastic game and worth the price, for sure, but there's no content worth doing once you've got Platinum. Hopefully, they will add something in the future.
it's like that for every rpg game that does not have an online feature like red dead
@@sebbepvp1207 RDR2 has the best postgame in singleplayers by far, because of world interactivity
Idk if this will help but on PS5 tapping triangle skips through dialogue, doesn’t work every time though (specifically dialogue and cutscenes the game really wants you to see)
you can also add shiny hunt the Magical beasts
