Looking forward to a s2k review :) quite interested in picking up one so would love to hear from an owner
Hi, is it possible for you to do a episode on Toyota harrier turbo? Seen a lot on the road..
and does it have coilovers or lowering springs?
BC racing coilovers?
Fuel Tank size for the Roc 1.4 is 55l not 40l.. but 600km/full tank is still pretty decent compared to what some of the other roc owners are getting :)
Thanks! 55 litre tank, that’s about 10.9km/litre
Fuel tank is 65L not 55 🤦🏼♂️
@@gavinang7058 its not actually
its 55
@@markusBARTOSCH u nv pump 63L before? I had.
@@gavinang7058 honestly never pump more than 54l for my 1.4 before. Do a Google search for it and every search will say 55l, not sure about your unit.
How to be still on stock map with so many hardware changes.. interesting 🤔
would you say it's reliable? i plan on getting a 2.0
I think it depends on your luck, and of coz how well maintained it was by the previous owner
Nice decal (SGRV). lol
LOVE the fuck SGRV sticker❤️
what are the wheel specification? you only wrote 18 inch....what offset?
Standard 18” offset 38-42
hi can you do a video for students to own a car
student + car is an almost impossible combo in sg
@@CarLifeSG hahahahaha, soo true
40k on the modss??
doubt its i got nearly the same aspects and spend only 4k the
i was looking for the carbon front splitters and found them for 100 euros its not from oettinger , oettinger only did 1x a body kit for a scirocco and thats definetly none of his parts the carbon splitter is from china just ordere one
can't really hear the owner during the interview
Spent 40k in 2 years which included an engine overhaul. 4th owner. Something doesnt add up
40k $??
want one soo badly, but am afraid of the mechatronic n gearbox 🥲
And 1 year ltr i got it weeeeee.
Next m4
@@DeStinAr0 How was it?
@@iNeed2ppp fun to drive bro. I love my matte black scirocco.
Changed the rims to 19 inch and car alr lowered & with brembo break.
Although ppl say is a ahbeng car, but i often just look back at my car n smile 🙂
@@DeStinAr0how is it now bro? Did you have any problems?
Alamak bro, you used the car for only 2 years, do up and spend $40k just to sell because your mum dislikes it? In the first place why didn't you ask your mum before buying 🤣
yp
fuel tank is 50L bro, not 40.
55L
yeah this type of car can never be 15km/l.
this dude was probably lucky he got a non issue roc.
this car was known to have alot of issues.
U can go on highway cruising mode and get 15-17/L at 90kph. If driving at 120kph of course cant get . Fc is subjective i can go up to kl with 1 tank and i can also go up n down kl with 1 tank see how u drive only
I will say it’s a no for me 😂I rather get a 2.0 which have better dsg and lesser problem .
Doubt that hard bro the dsg can only drive 255nm Max ( dq250) and the dq350 can drive 355nm Max above that the car someday starts to break the shifts and the Clutch definetly the manual 1.4 tsi can drive aber 400nm without Problems the clutch is OEM Set to 400nm
@@DaFeLaTV All the numbers u mentioned are wrong, except for gearbox model. Kindly educate yourself
@@damonkoh489 non of the numbers are wrong i work at VW directly in WOLFSBurg for about 25 years
@@DaFeLaTV Driving a MK6 Gti with K04 (APR Tuned), TVS DSG tuned. Pushing low 500sNm of torque for 100,000km on an OEM clutch. Zero slippage, zero judder, zero issues. And that's mileage done in Singapore & Malaysia, hot weather unlike Germany.
Arguing on internet is dumb. Judging from the videos on your channel, most people would be led to believe u're just a kid. So yeah, whatever.
@@damonkoh489 i dont want to arguing but the oem DSG from the older vw cars has the maximum torque which i wrote in my first post i just saw it in our data center the newer ones can be driven with more torque as their are even installed in the tdi /GTD version , my numbers where just for the 2009 and 2010 dsg
2008-2011 rocs are widely known for being problematics especially the piston failures, DSG and many more ...
not true only the first version got the timing chain problems and aftermarket high quality chains fixed the problems i got mine with nearly 400000km on my scirocco and only switched 1x the timing chain and the turbo the engine is actually pretty good , i tought the same about the problems but i saw many in turkey germany and france only driving the 1.4 tsi after the timing chain switch its even more vulnerable then the R and the 2.0 tsi which had definetly more problems then the 1.4 160hp one
i cant complain about mine now i got the 160 hp CAVD motor with stage 2 265 hp since 260000 km and nothing bro no big problems only small problems like switching the brakes or the bulbs
@@DaFeLaTV what’s the best way to look after 1.4 tai I want to buy one
@@DaFeLaTVdid you really go up to 400000km , as a scirocco 1.4 tsi twincharger owner myself i would like to hear some tips and tricks from you so i could go on the range that you went with the engine brother
@@POTSKUR always Do the Intervalls with best oil
@@DaFeLaTV i always use 5w40 full synthetic oil and water with no salts or anything, i have it on stage 2 with many extras but i was wondering what would you recomend upgrading in the car that would make a difference to its health in the long run
what about ur buddy, didnt he get his wifes permission or he robbed a bank?
The DQ200 7 speed DSG is a big no-no for me
haha... its kind of obvious isnt it?

porsche panamera
1.4 tsi twincharged is a shitty engine. So many issues.
Timing chain, valves, rings etc.
Thats becos u dunno how to take care of the car.
@@gavinang7058 Tell me how to maintain this engine then?
@@danielfl.9347 timing belt just regular replacement during waterpump replacement. I forged my engine and run meth to keep internals clean. Regular oil change at 3-5k km and a oil drain cup helps prevent “dirty oil cloggage” . Spirited drive once in awhile helps to burn out carbon deposits. Preventive maintenance to fix any small issue before it gets out of hand.
@@gavinang7058 Timing belt?? That is not the twin charged TSI EA111.
It has timing CHAIN and has A LOT of problems.
The newer EA211 with the 1.4 TSI 125 hp is with timing belt and has no problems.
Shitty engine... Engine of the year for 1.0-1.4 liter category from 2006 to 2014. Must be really shitty this engine. Next people will say, "aiyaaa, this awards cannot trust one..." K.
There's a reason why this car depre is Low
depre?
Reliability issues?
