You probably already know how fantastic Bette Midler is but I'd like you to react to three of her older songs. These were from back when I was listening to radio in my younger motherhood days and now I'm a grandma! If you google Bette Midler singing ...with each title they'd be nice to hear your take on them i you don't know them already. The Rose (from 1979? movie of same name which she starred in) Wind Beneath My Wings (from 1988 movie, Beaches, which she co-starred in) From A Distance (she recorded in 1990 during one of the middle eastern wars - it has a beautiful message) Thank you for sharing all these different pieces of music that at least some of us wouldn't even know existed. This is a wonderful opportunity!

Sorry bro, its not forced dancing ....its just our tradition of celebrating our festivals....here, the dancers are clearly representing Goddess Durga, and that clearly can't be portrayed by males.....its not like only women used to dance, you'll also get references of festivals where males used to dance to pay their respect to our Gods.....hope this cleared out your misconceptions....

Sorry. Wrong understanding or information given to you about the song. Nobody has ever enforced any Indian women to dance anywhere. We have always had extremely empowered women who lead armies, governed as queens, we’re leading scientists, writers, poetesses, intellectuals. If anyone brought in regressive and secondary roles of women , it was the Islamic and Christianity invaders. We have countless goddesses which means we inherently understand the power of the feminine. This dance is an ode to one such fearless goddess Ma Durga 🙏🙏
It’s beyond my comprehension where you possibly got the idea that women were forced to dance. During the muslin invasions sure - but not for a couple of centuries now. Sir you really need to live in the real world. This is the dance where the Devi Durga killed a demon the male Gods were unable to. You really think women need to be forced to show their devotion?
It's an Indian traditional dance, basically dedicated to praising our gods and goddesses! 🔥
Women were not forced to dance it's our traditional dance
Its the plot of the movie. Devadasi tradition in west bengal
So proud of Sai Pallavi for showcasing the real Indian culture to the youth
It’s not forced to perform dance in ancient days , only in recent past in few areas it happened
No its acient days dance....
Exactly... typical white man..🤦🏽♂️
It is one of the Indian Traditional Dance on Goddess Durga....
Whole song is dedicated to Goddess Durga. Goddess Durga with Trident
