This is the final mission of the Allies. Destroy everyone and everything, do whatever it takes. No remorse whatsoever. Unlike other missions, if Tanya dies in this mission it's still ok.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert is the sequel to the award-winning Command and Conquer title by Westwood Studios. It is the first game in the Red Alert universe, in which an alternate history occurs - a series of World Wars fought by the Soviet Union and Western Allies. If you play as the Allies, you will assume the role of a top-secret commander who works alongside General Gunther Von Esling and Nikos Stavros in fighting off the Reds and defending the sovereignty of Europe.

A huge starting army and 18500 starting credits. That's what you get when you fight for Stalin! Stalin understands how to wage war. What does the Allied general staff give you? 1800 credits and pathetically few units! Surely the allies could do better! This IS the final mission after all...
Yup it’s kind of dumb. Von Esling and Stavros praise you and give you exclusive access to the chronosphere..but yeah they let you start off broke.
I think it's because you are starting as the advanced intrusion. You are setting up the fight at first. And in the intro they sent out a bunch of other people.

But in other hand if Alled has huge army in start with 19 000 funds; Last mission would be too easy. Soviets have harder last mission and Soviets had funds and army in start. I remember when i played both campaigns thru in hard.. Damn, it's really hard. Engineers: Key to success with my playstyle

Why do so many video game enemies leave so many explosive barrels out in the open and then stand near them?
In this case it's semi-justified, those barrels contain oil and fuel for vehicles, and given the fight against the soviets those may have been conscripts who are not trained to think rationally, or at all.
Don’t question what their programming tells them to do. In this case, literal Soviet programming.

It would IRL (at the MOST the Tesla coil could weld the metal parts and disable the tank), but this is the C&C universe -- normal physics do not apply!

@@ReviveHF I found mass rocket soldiers very effective in Tiberium Wars. They have excellent range and very useful against the Scrin too- but are not too good for bases with good defences. I guess vehicles are always going to be better for taking out entire bases.

The allied light tank was great fun to play around with. You could kite the Soviet tanks with it.

Allies are more fun to play imo. If you are skilled enough you can destroy a Mammoth tank with one light tank and drive opponents crazy.
Jonathan Im and that is why Light Tanks are my favourite units in the game! Fast, cheap, quick to build, low tech and there’s nothing the soviets can do against a huge swarm of them!

+Mike Knight That's called tank shifting, where you call your newly produced tanks to the battlefield. Bookmark W for the factories and R for the battlefield, then press W, select those new tanks, Shift+1 to call up your existing team 1, then Ctrl+1 to group your new tanks into the existing team, then R to return to the battlefield and attack.

I was doing this mission today, and even though I destroyed the missile silo I got nuked because apparantly I was taking too long. But the problem was that the bastard took out my con yard, radar dome and the fckn tech centre. The 3 most important buildings I had :(.
What also is a good tactic is to take out the sam sites after you took is conyard. Than you can finish him off with longbows. But that will take slightly longer than this :P
Same thing happened to me. I got nuked long after I destroyed the silo. Luckily I had made a ton of tanks and had long destroyed their con yards and war factories, so I had just enough tanks and men left to take them out after I took out all the Tesla coils and flame towers with my longbows.

I always found it funny that given the mindsets presented between the Soviets and Allies in Red Alerts, the Soviets weren't all that good at Anti-Tank short of the Tesla Coil, and those were helicopter bait.

I get the select all and then press ctrl and 1 or 2 depending what group you want it to be on..... but adding new tanks to a group battling over the other side of the map.... thats new for me, can u tell me how? I have no idea how you pulled that off while ignoring all MiG attacks, constantly, from start to (almost) finish.
It seems like an artillery piece hitting them when you got close would have been worth it's weight in gold.

In this mission there is a lightly defended area on the left of the river at the bottom of the map. There is a lot of money that can be stolen from the silo in the area early on.

Yes. One can simply send an APC carrying four thieves and a spy. The APC is enough to take out the defense. The enemy at the bottom starts with 13000 credits so those thieves will get you nearly all of that. For those who play a regular game instead of a speedrun, the steal can be done regularly whenever the enemy collects some credits (thus it would be helpful to send a spy at the first time to reveal the enemy's credit amount).
Inspired by this trick, I tried another steal from the primary enemy at the left and it can be successful too. Use the APC (may be with one or two vehicles for covering) to quickly go through the middle of the map to reach the silos and kill the dog guarding it. There is some chance that the APC is taken out by the defense though. A successful steal would also get you 10000+ credits (the amount depends on the timing). If this is done fast enough the enemy's production could be completely halted because the remaining credits is not enough to complete the building of an ore refinery.
There is also a crate in the church at the middle of the map, which can get you another 2000 credits. To get it one can use Tanya to attempt a detonation of the church from the bottom and then stops immediately (press 'S') when the credits are obtained. This can keep the church intact to avoid the bombing from a MIG team.

What I like to do is reprogram the game parameters and make it where Tanyas can have an RPG and destroy tanks with one shot and be able to have a whole army of Tanyas and use them to wipe out an entire base just with them. Do you know how weird it is seeing the opening scene with someone dressed up in clothes similar to a nazi, getting rid of Hitler gave the Allies a strange friendship in the end. By the way, it's bad enough you were destroying their base, did you have to destroy their faith, too? Have you no shame in taking out a civilian church?

No, there was no speeding up of the vid. 1 hour 4 minutes is the in-game timed which is different from real time. I measure my runs in real time.

The waves of soviet attacks on your base come from the south regularly with tanks and grenadiers and V2 rockets. From the north side its mainly lone mammoth tanks with iron curtain activated. Where the reinforcements arrive after the credits are stolen, a chopper usually lands in the very top corner with flamers. Still loved this mission until the Soviets nuke your base once you enter theirs at a certain part.
Itd not because you get close to the base. You're getting Nuked if you're taking too slow to win the mission. Same thing happened to me in mission where you need to capture two soviet tech centres.
