I sat close to and talked to your Father at your Saskatoon show. As you came on stage he stood up and yelled "Ladies and Gentlemen that's my son!" He was so proud of you.
Reading this touch me in my heart and actually made me cry
@ I cried for about the first 10 minutes of the show because it haha!
Wow what an experience. Count yourself as fortunate!
I'm sure your father is proud to have raised such a brilliant son.
A crybaby.
Ya, I’m im sure Jordan is proud to have been raised by a brilliant father 🙂
@@invictus_They-Them_Nazi_Hunter Get in touch with your emotions, you might become a happy person.
@@invictus_They-Them_Nazi_Hunter Still 10,000x more of a man than yourself writing cheap insults from an anonymous UA-cam Account.
Yes, no doubt he's so proud of Jordan, and rightly so.
The value of a good father cannot be overstated
💯
A really strong man can do so much than a "independent strong woman" in reality we should be dependent on others for meaning and since we die and meaning is lost we pray to God first to give us our family and then enjoy it all. It makes good use NOT being a ungrateful bastard to any human and First to God! Being bastardize from God is worse than without a father and a mother imagine that? Hell is away from the heavenly Father I cannot imagine.
I absolutely love when Jordan shows his emotions in the form of tears. It's a completely masculine trait in my opinion. I love it! It's so freeing to be able to cry and not be ashamed or embarrassed about it.
Yep idk if youre a woman but not many females love jalapenos so Latino? Gotta say yup it's cool to see Jordans Father! Wow hahahaha that's really more than words and humans are capable of describing I pray that my relationship with my father and I grows as this here good relationship across father and son ?!
The voice sounds exactly like JP
Kermit and old Kermit are both damn fine people!
I just lost my father 7months ago. This made me shed a few tears. JP.... Thank you for being you!!!!!!!!! You've opened my eyes so much! ❤❤❤❤
I am so sorry for your loss! May God Bless you and heal you from your grief❤️
Sorry for your loss
sorry for your loss
Sorry to hear about your father
This was an exceptionally touching conversation with your Dad.Thanks.
The memories were flooding listening to this sweet conversation.
Two peas in a pod !
I love the Petersons, they are such nice people. They care deeply about others, which should be obvious for anyone who's ever been loved. They set a great example for others to follow.
I too had a father who I knew was on the side of my better angels. Fathering is a solemn responsibility, too long demeaned by those who lacked it and don't understand its profound importance to humanity.
That's only true for those who were able to have a relationship with their father, some don't get that chance, and for a variety of different reasons, and sadly, some are probably better off to have not had the chance.
Those things may sound very cynical, but they are also very true.
Very true@@andrewlilley3660 ??? Perhaps very true for some, but the vast majority of children have fathers. Good fathers who make them better people for having their guidance in their lives. Very few children would be better off without their father, and most have been far worse off as a result. You say 'for a variety of different reasons' and yes, there are many, but the main cause of most children not having a father is the deranged and entitled decisions of their mothers, in a society that derides and dismisses fathers as unnecessary fools while encouraging young women in their hedonism and promiscuity. The fatherless behaviour is there for all to see in our society, and the broken homes of single mothers, supported and encouraged by the state are where the vast majority of those problems come from. I don't think what you have said is cynical. I think it's a gross distortion that seeks to blame absent fathers while the selfish actions of mothers who excluded them, and the interference of the state who encouraged and supported her to do so are ignored. Are they blameless in your eyes?
If the children are victims of broken homes, then let's remember who broke those homes, and why. Let's admit to the harmful consequences of those decisions and policies, with their results evident all around us in society today. Just the prison figures alonne confirm this, with the majority of serious offenses commited by young men from homes without a father. Let's be clear about how this happened. Fathers were the only ones who didn't have any say in this social experiment, and yet they are still blamed for these disasterous results!
I am about to lose my father so this is very touching. I think of my son and the ways I am able to guide his character. My efforts in this quest has doubled since discovering Jordan Peterson a few years ago. My father is a man of very few words but huge strength of character and inspiration.
Get some videos if you can. I would give anything just to see my dad tell a story again
Your father is such a lovely man! Even though I don't know him, he radiates trust, experience, kindness and contentment.
My Dad was my best friend. I didn't get to be around him until my late teens. We never parted ways until he passed. We had each other's back. He was good to my spouse and loving to his grandchildren. I was lucky and still am for having him. He has made a profound impact on my life even against all the odds. Without him there would be no me💚
Beautiful ❤ I feel the same way about my dad & mom 💗 I wouldn't be who I am without them & how they taught me important values 💗🕊 God Bless all families 👼💗
Neat seeing your dad. I have a hard time with my parents. Lots of emotion. So seeing Jordan cry with his dad makes me realize I am not alone.
See the ones from past years, mans amazing.
It will be tough but talk to them about it and clear it up before they go, or it will stay with you forever. Don't be afraid of not being able to forgive, just be honest with them.
And call your mom.
@@mojo9291 both my father and stepfather passed and I was able to connect with each before. I was there with my mom in her last years and months. I have only one stepparent left who has basically shunned me. It’s very sad, but I’ve had to let go of the last “parent” figure I had. God bless her. But yes! Make the most of the time we have!
Ladies and gents… I introduce the internet’s dad’s dad.
Have the same deep love for my father also. You can see how much Jordan’s father means to him. Got me tearing up now. Beautiful to watch.
I so appreciate you being so authentic Jordan and a role model beyond I’ve seen publicly… what an privilege to be called to such a high calling for mankind … God is so so faithful!🙏
Today's Father's day.
I sent my dad two happy fathers day messages with a very rare photo I took of a double rainbow. Last month was his birthday and I wished him a happy birthday.
???crickets¿¿¿
I'm no angel, but cherish your loved ones. Life goes by too fast. ❤
This video will be treasured by you, your kids, their kids, their kids and on and on. Much love to you and your dad...You're created a treasure.
Gosh, the sentiment, the emotiveness, the life is too short reminder, the it’s the simple things that matter thing, the urgency of believing in someone, the never giving up on someone, the unconditional love, the bond, the comparative insight, the grass isn’t always greener, the gratitude, the legacy, the EVERYTHING, oh, what a gem this is, Dr Peterson, you are the Worlds Father, thank you to you and your forefathers, I’m not quite sure where the world would be without you and your family in it, seeing Gods work as such is a gift indeed 🩵
I lost my father in 2006 Jordan, and I miss him every day.... cherish every moment you have with yours while he is still here.
God blessed the man who brought you Dr Peterson to this earth, certainly you have a lot of him in you.
I LOVE When Dr Peterson talks with his SUPERDIDUPER father…some of my very favourite times I’ve spent listening actually😎♥️😎
🔥🔥
I cried watching this because I see so much love and this is beautiful to see. I love my father and I am lucky he also read to me and always believed in my potential. God bless your family, Dr. Peterson. ❤
You inspire me alot Mwalimu Jordan,, lots of love from Kenya.
" It was all good "
My sentiments with our family.
Being a father has and is the greatest experience of my life 😊
I have said this many times
Winning the parent lottery that is having a Father and Mother who are invested in you as one of their children on becoming the best version of yourself.
I consider myself a Lottery winner in that respect.
My Father now 89 my Mother 84the greatest gift
Thank you Jordan and senior Peterson for sharing ❤
Thank you for sharing this sacred conversation. Fathers are important and you are blessed with a great one! Most people are not so blessed and struggle to find their footing in life. Your work has helped innumerable young men! Thank you Dr. Peterson😊
This was a great idea Jordan. I am blessed to have "interview" videos with both of my parents, and not only are the videos a treasure, but the memory of the interview process and the closeness that it engendered is priceless. Your dad seems like an intelligent, kind and upstanding man. Bless you both!
I know Dr. Peterson doesn't read his comments because people can be so unkind. This interview is so moving. I feel his aching nostalgia for his childhood and his connection to his dad. He is blessed to have such loving memories.
Videos of me interviewing my mother were lost when our home was burgled a few years ago and the equipment taken. This reminds me just how precious these moments are!
I feel Jordan. When I look back and think of all the things mom and dad did for me as a kid, I tear up.
Thank you for sharing! For me you are the father figure ive never had in my life.
Your teachings help me be a better father with my kids.
Thank you Mr, Peterson!
good father's and mother's are the unsung heroes of the world
You've got a lovely dad Jordan. Thank you for sharing that. A very touching exchange xx
Thank you Jordan, for sharing 🙏 you and your dad's thoughts (both your voices almost sound identical 😊). I'm remembering my dad being my best friend when he was alive knowing how lucky I was having him as my dad. Good times! 👍
Thank you for sharing this personal moment with us, it’s clear that both of you enjoy a special relationship. Happy Father’s Day!
It's amazing how, no matter how old a man gets, being next his father kind of puts the two in their sort of portraits, like the inner child that was there when growing up emerges on the forefront of the person's face unafraid, because dad is there to protect him if need be
Yep, the world is suffering for more good fathers. Great interview. Jordan’s dad seems very , at peace, and contented.
I respect Dr. Peterson more and more with every video I watch. He is my hero and mentor and isn't afraid to cry when in a touching moment. Don't ever change doc, you're the best!
This is wonderful. My Dad was the opposite ~ it would have been so encouraging but I over cone what I didn't have. I always look forward to your discussions. God bless you.
The biggest regret I have is that I didn't read with my sons 😔
This was great to see your interaction with your father Dr Peterson, thank you for this
I love my father dearly. This makes me want to weep. 😥 I’m going to call my Dad today.
I’ve made a rapprochement with my father after all these years. He is in a care home now. I go see him every week and bring food. We have dinner together. He’s 95 now and still mentally sharp. He walks a bit slower now. I cherish these years wit him now more than ever. Spending time with him now is no longer a chore, as it had been for so many years. Never take for granted those you love. Tomorrow is never guaranteed.
Everyone needs to ask questions to there family members especially when they get older! Before it is lost in time! Get the family history and genealogy.Go though the family photo albums get all the names of people in the pictures!!! Record there voice and smile, laugh love! Keep asking questions be thankful!
Wholesome, and funny to to hear the accent and inflection of papa Peterson are shared by his son!
Sometimes your calling is not to be the hero but to quietly raise a hero. And that is probably the greater deed.
What you have achieved for others, and are achieving, in impacting 10s of 000s of lives for the better, has surely left your dad lost for words every day and has made his entire existence and all you went through, worth every single second and his life beyond having been worth living.
God bless...
Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹 😀
May he be blessed with good health and a strong mind for many years to come 🌹
How sweet and honorable to be so open and in touch with the solid love between father and son.
It is so wonderful that Jordan and his father are making these intimate and touching recounts of their relationship public. It is such a great example of the father son relationship and its importance of development of the father and husband that sons will likely become themselves one day. Thank you for the inspiration, Jordan. What an amazing memory and experience you will be able to think back on when that day comes that your father joins his heavenly father.
His Dad really seems like a warm person. Very pleasant to hear him talk.
Crying here. So beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Jordan. Makes you appreciate what really matters. Love can go a long way. Happy for you to have that bedrock. God bless you, and thanks for doing all the work of encouragement and discussion and trying to share what is most valuable to you with the rest of the world in good faith. You sure have become an encouraging and enriching part of my life, and I am so grateful. Stay safe, and may the better angels of your nature keep walking with and sometimes carrying you
Love to see his Daddy, Mr Walter Peterson do a podcast or something…what wisdom!!
Can't wait to see more of this
🙂God bless you Jordan. God bless your Dad and the remainder of your family as well. I heard his voice in your voice for the first time today. Remarkable 🙏
Thank you so much for sharing this Jordan, it makes me value my dad so much more.
That's fookin beautiful! Tank you so much........ love and respect to Dr Jordan peterson!
I appreciate you sharing this Jordan. I’m grateful to have a dad who was a present as it sounds like yours was. And the reading books when you were little, I remember that, and my wife and I try to do that regularly with our little ones too. I’m definitely glad to have found your channels!
Thank you Walter for raising such an earth angel for these times. Thank you thank you thank you. xxxx
What a beautiful interview. I would rank this as the best one. Thank you Senior Mr Peterson for reminding us that FAMILY is the most important. And thank you Dr Peterson for sharing this moment with your father with the whole world.
Jordan I absolutely love this video. Thank you for reposting. I can see where your lovingkindness for others comes from. Luv ya! ❤️✝️❤️😘 Loved it so much I viewed it twice.
This was so heart warming & brings great joy! Blessings to You & your family and thank you for sharing such beautiful, vulnerable moments.. shows exactly what healthy relationships we should all be striving for 🙏
Hey, I'm striving for a healthy intimate relationship. I'm looking for my wife now, and if you look anything like your profile picture, I'd like you! I'm an artist, that's why I'm so drawn to it. 😅 Don't worry, I don't look anything like my profile picture, although some have described me as a lone wolf. You see, I don't let people into my life easily but I'm literally on a quest now to find my wife. Sorry if I'm being too blunt, we could start with a nice conversation, and maybe save the marriage stuff for later. 😂 I'm pretty good looking, but I wouldn't give Dwayne Johnson a run for his money. I'm Canadian, but it doesn't matter where you live because I'm actually waiting for marriage to have sex. I know, crazy, right? Well, God's way shouldn't be crazy, it should be normal. Yes, I'm a Christian, and I'm heavily influenced by my faith. Just thought I'd reach out to a pretty girl who seems wise like you, that's a pretty good combination. LOL if your profile pic is just a random digital painting and you're a dude, you can completely ignore this comment. Also, if you're already married, you can completely ignore this comment. Only respond to this comment if you're an 18-29 year old single Christian woman who's looking for a serious relationship. Ok? Thanks for reading, God bless, and have a nice day! 🙏❤
INCREDIBLE! lots of things I cannot change with my dad, but I still have time with my kids. Thank you for this.
Best wishes to your father and God bless!
That's a precious and touching video to take in. I also have been blessed with a wonderful dad (and mom). Thank you for sharing so candidly.
Thank you for sharing your father sir. Jordan your truly gifted..
It's a comfort to have history and so much love from Father and son because love is something very precious and even more so between parents and children. I'm crying so much for your mutual love and respect and I'm crying because mine didn't want to know about us and I still cry about it today. A hug from Portugal to the family and health.
Holy shit your father still here !! Amazing 😍
God bless you and your family
As someone who has never had a father around this brought a tear to my eye (and a smile on my face). I don't often think about it - it's hard to know what you've missed when you've never had it, but when I see an obviously good and close father-son relationship it becomes very clear the benefit it brings to people and I wish I did have it.
I just thank God we have a guiding light like JP in our era. We have many others I know, thankfully, though JPs wisdom resonates deeply with me. Thank you so much Jordan 🙏
Thank you for sharing your story. It got me emotional thinking of my own. I’d love hear more conversations with your father if you feel comfortable sharing..!
It's nice to see you and your farther again. 😊
What a Loving Human Being you are Jordan .. I Love Your ability to Value the Simplicity of Life. It's NO small thing .. ! Thank You for being Vulnerable. You exude Compassion 💝
Thank You to both Mr. Petersons' for the Example in which to raise our best selves and help ourselves better our Time.
With such Precise Understanding, Great Love, and Honest Gratuity for All, we Will witness our own idea of Eden.
God bless you Jordan 🙏 Your tears are hopefully born of joy. It seems you have a blessed relationship with your father, love and respect for each other. Truly beautiful.
Jordan makes the world a better place.
God he reminds me so much of my father. I love fathers.
Made me cry. Thank you.
Incredibly touching. Thank you.
The Walters and Jordans of the world are helping to cultivate a humanity that still has a chance. Thanks for doing it and sharing your stories.
DAD PETERSON IS A LOVELY MAN!! LOVED HIS KIDS!! I can see he was a very good father and grandfather. A very honest man. LIKE FATHER LIKE
SON🤩
Sooo heart touching
This is touching. I wish I could interview my stepfather (raised me from 2 years old- 14 years old) but he would never participate in something like that hahaha. Heartwarming to see you and your father being open.
I'm getting emotional too... My dad has no goddamn clue how hard I tried to get him to notice me. He never tried to protect me from the fury of my mother. "Lost" seems to be the correct word. In the same way, I can't imagine what it would be like to have someone who believes in me. Those who have been punished will be punished.
I NEED THE REST OF THIS!
Wow. This was a great conversation. It has so much meaning.
I wasn't aware Jordan still had his father around, he comes across as a true gentleman, a very touching exchange between father and son.
Thank you so much for this 🙏❤
That’s so sweet.
This is absolutely beautiful and touching.
i was autistic from a vaccine when i was 7 ,aluminium got into my brain and caused neural inflammation,my little world was turned upside down, they wanted to send me toa special school to teach me how to read and write,my dad said no son of mine is going to the idots school i will teach you how to read,he made me sit on his lap with my hands by my side,if i got any word wrong he slapped me hard across the face,i am 61 now ,i healed the autism when i was 54 i found out that volvic mineral water safely removes aluminium from the brain,it did,i often think about how my dad treated me when i was vaccine injured,my blood runs cold,i donot cry and i donot get angry ,i put both my girls through uni and my son is an engineer,i never laida finger on them and i could never hit something that i loved so much,my experiment worked out well,my 3 kids are all married with happy healthy kids ,
Happy belated birthday Dr. Peterson
Thank U JP. I grew up in a family that if U didn't work U didn't eat & those's day's are the best day's of my life ❤ daddy always said work builds character.. been working since age 10 common sense WE all participated in family dynamics our family depends on it.. teaching my grandson's civic engagement As well.. thanks JP 🙏 greatful 💯 they watch all your series of how boy's Need to be Real Men.. 💯
That was very vulnerable. Thanks for the video. It's got some great insights into raising children. I appreciate that as a father of 3.
Thank you, Dr. Peterson!
i have a s similar relationship with my grandfater. He used to tell me about history every night i stayed at their place or they stayed with us. My sister fell asleep soon, since she found it boring, but most of my basic knowledge and interest came from that interaction. They celebrated their 65 wedding day a few weeks back and i was able to tell him and my grandmother how greatfull i am.
These kinds of aknowledgement are beacause of this man, jordan! To understand what is important, and to act upon it. To orientate yourself towards the highest.
thanks
Happy Birthday Jordan
Sometimes we say we are proud when really what we are is GREATFUL! Gratitude is much richer all things considered.
It is instinctive. You can't imagine the love you have for someone you never thought you'd ever meet until they arrive and it's love at first sight forever unconditional
This was beautiful.
Awww. Like father like son. Families can be absolutely suffocating.
This is priceless. Thank you
