My 8 inch dob is named "Goldilocks" and my 12 inch dob is named "Fat-ass" because its so annoying to move 😭 your observatory looks so cozy I have to consider something similar. Excited for Sunday!

Good luck with the SSAG! I hope that it works well for you. I have had nothing but problems with mine. It simply does not guide, at least for me except for one two hour session. I thought it was my mount so Celestron advised me to send it to them to have it rebuilt. I did and it cost me $$$$$. I was excited getting it back and the next clear night I hooked up the SSAG. The same thing. All updates were installed. Now Celestron wants me to send the SSAG back as they say it is defective. I hope it is but other people on forums are having the same problems as me. I look forward to seeing your review once you set it up and use it.

thanks for your comment, so, i had some issues with this but it only seems to stop guiding if i go on live view, as long as i keep it off i'm getting under 1 arc second guiding, i have my other guide scope ready to throw on just in case 😅 sorry to hear yours has been nothing but problems. lets hope they fix it for you so you can get back to taking pics as soon as possible. i have only used mine twice now the first night was a nightmare getting it all aligned properly, but the second night worked really well, however its been so cloudy i haven't been able to field test it that well.

Exactly what I hope to get for my C11. I think you should name it Big Cat. Thanks I enjoyed the video and becoming a new subscriber to your channel.

I love the SSAG. Best investment I've ever made for tracking.

I know right, it’s a great asset, do you have any problems when changing to live view? Mine stops tracking when I do this 👍

That looks like an interesting bit of kit. It initially looks quite expensive but given how many component it potentially replaces it's probably about right. Looking forward to the C11 mods, hyperstar by any chance? Also +1 for naming your scopes, I have 'WALL-E' for my dual Apo, but don't have a name yet for my 12" Truss Tube RC. Someone did suggest 'Liz' (as in Liz Truss) but they were told where to go in no uncertain terms🙂

Yeah I think if it works as well as Celestron say then it’s a no brainer for me, a good guide scope camera and the original starsense would be close on cost. I love your telescope WALL-E lol on the liz Truss good option on the pass with that one. I was thinking ASTRAIOS or maybe just Dave. I won’t give away what I have coming you will have to see Sunday 🫣
