    Nice packing setup, Epic Trips. I bought a Koara packraft a couple years ago and found I can get everything packed really well in my own 75L pack.

    Great video, very informative. I would love to see an update on the Packraft & overnight camp contents?

    I found this video really helpful. Lots of packeafting videos just show the packraft, inflating it, but not things like what gear and how it’s packed.

    Thanks for all the detail! I have an old version of the Atmos 65 and will be using that for my first packrafting trip. I just got the Alpacka (medium/Yak). I'm worried about getting everything stuffed in my pack, but have a few less things than you so I should be OK. Just a lot more weight than I'm used it!

    Great video, thanks for sharing. After being a backpacker all my life, I'm now experimenting with pack rafting, and bike rafting as well. So am still working on dialing in my packing lists, so this is of great interest to me.
    I'm a bit puzzled about a few things. With all the gear you're carrying your pack looks a bit on the heavy side. At first I thought you're just packing for a day of hiking and rafting, but then I noticed you have Jetboil for cooking, and a bunch of electronics like the Goal Zero converter, powerbanks, walkie-talkies, and solar charger. As if you're planning an extended trip. However, I didn't notice any shelter or sleeping equipment, no food, or water. If you don't mind me asking, and assuming you do go out on extended trips, how big is your pack and how much is the total weight when you add all those other elements? Can you actually fit all that in an Atmos 65?
    Thanks!

      Hi Rick, Thanks for watching and I appreciate your feedback! I am also working on getting a folding bike to take on my raft. This was my first few videos and I didn't explain really well in the video. For my extended trips I am normally out for a week or more, and the pack is a bit heavy (45-50lbs) with shelter, food and water, and it does all fit in the Atmos 65 (55lbs max with everything). This video included most of my gear I bring on my pack when I am filming and that weight is close to 15lbs. So if I strip away the video gear which includes the powerbanks, solar chargers, tripods, electronics gadgets, etc. My shelter system is roughly about 4.5lbs (Hammock, Sleeping Pad, Tarp, Sleeping Bag which are all lightweight) and including dehydrated foods, water then the bare minimum I have taken my backpack down to 34lbs. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask, for 2019 I will make an updated version of this video to include any new things I have added or removed and take your suggestions to explain the backpacks weight including contents for a day trip or extended trips, Thanks again.

    nice break down, thanks. have you ever figured out your loaded weight with this kit ?

      Hi, the loaded weight comes to 55-60lbs with the things in this video, that's a bit too much. Since the video, I have cut 10lbs off my loaded weight, especially to my camera and electronics gear.

    Great video. Can you elaborate on your drone case & dry bags?

    • @Onkeo75
      @Onkeo75  5 років тому

      Jahn, The drone case I use is Fstops Labs - Got it from Amazon link : www.amazon.com/Fstop-Labs-Controller-Transmitter-Accessory/dp/B01MZDVTE4/ref=sr_1_42?keywords=drone+case&qid=1572871933&sr=8-42 - There are several bags I use depending on items I carry in them, the one I use for all my electronic gear such as camera, battery, drone. is the Sealline 10L See Dry Bag and the most waterproof, other dry bags I use are 5L-10L and 50L Sea to Summit dry bags which are fairly waterproof and those I put clothes in and last are the Outdoor Research dry bags, and these bags I put random things which I know are going to get sort of wet. The last is the big 60-80L FreeGrace bag I use to put my backpack in. I hope that answers your question.
