I'm slowly fixing it myself, UA-cam and Google are my new repair friends, Your video helped me visualize what should BE there, the glide pads were almost nonexistent, only one little broken piece still there. Think this will be my last fix then hopefully back in business!
I used acetone nail polish remover to take off residue of old adhesive, taking care to quickly dispose of the solvent-soaked cotton pads outdoors. Flammable so don't fire up anything till the air is clear. But there is a bevel on the edge of the felt. Where does it face?
