Hi, Grace! Thanks for your comment. You can definitely use chain instead of the arch connectors. I've seen a lot of great earrings made with chain instead of a wooden or metal shape. Oh, and Etsy is in the UK, right? I would search on there as well. Let me know what you end up doing!
Thanks for sharing! I have a problem though and I wonder if you could help me. When I try to arrange the design on a different part of my mat, the design goes back to the top left corner when I click make it.
Hi, Nancy! You'll want to change the mat placement after you click make it, on the mat preview screen. The placement will default to the top left, but you can click "edit" and drag your items to your desired spot on the mat before cutting. Prior to clicking make it, you are just on the canvas, which doesn't determine mat placement. I hope that helps! :)
When you moved your design down from the upper corner. How do you know how far apart to place them or does the Cricut scan to find where they are. I guess that sounds silly but I’m so new I just have no idea. I moved a design and thought it was placed ok but when it cut my first shape then went to cut the 2nd shape it overlapped and cut onto the 1st design
Hi, Karen! If the shapes are overlapping in the mat preview screen, they will be overlapping when they cut on the mat. Drag them apart so in the mat preview screen they aren't touching or overlapping.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise Amy! I am going to have some fun making these earrings! Keep up the good work! 👍👍

Awesome! Gotta make these! I think the link for the ball ear wire hooks is not correct. When you go there you get the arches. Oh well...
Thanks, Linda! I'll check on that!
