I just made a few on yesterday from Cricut access, didn't realize how easy it was and now I have your beautiful designs to make more, thank you so much, please keep doing what you obviously love doing, helping others, it is very much appreciated.
So glad I started watching your videos today! I have had the materials for leather earrings sitting on my kitchen table for a year! 😔 I am now motivated to make them!!! Finding that I can add vinyl to them is wonderful. What a fun look. I bet many people feel the same.
Thank you for this great tutorial! I also thank you for sharing the mistakes that were made, instead of editing them out! This is so helpful! Thank you again!
I’m brand new to Cricut world. I am marathon watching your channel and love many, but this is the BEST! This may be our (my daughter and I) first project. I love them all!
Rylee, I LOVE my Cricut Maker. I had an Explore Air II for 3 years and I loved it, I now have a Maker and I love it too. Don’t be afraid to purchase, Cricut stands behind their products and there are many sites with great step by step tutorials.
Thank you so much, Jennifer. These are awesome!!! I can't wait to try making them. Your tutorials are sooooo helpful, especially with new cricut owners.
Hi Jennifer I had no success making these earrings. The simple ones would cut but I couldn’t get the more detail ones to cut. I tried the knife blade and the deep cut blade. Different settings and they would not cut through. I have a new Cricut maker my mats are new and my blades are new. I repeated the cuts over and over again for about 4 hours with no success. I did you get such a clean cut on yours. Please advise.
I am so glad you did this video. I want to make earrings for my sister and some friends but was not sure how they would actually look. I watched this and now am ready to give it a go. Have an idea for something special for my big sister. Thank you so much.
I love this project. I can't wait to get a Cricut to make some. The earrings turned out so beautiful. I didn't know you could do things like this with the Cricut. Thanks so much for the tutorial.
Brand new to cricut making and Love, Love all the info you share and show - would it be possible to see a video of a faux leather foiled change purse/ wallet?
Hi Jackie! Here is my blog post on faux leather wallet but there is no foiling on it but you could certainly do that ! jennifermaker.com/easy-leather-wallets-great-gift-cards/ 💗
Really love these earrings especially the heart and snowflake. Thank you so much for sharing.I have an Easy Press and have not used it yet. This is a good excuse to use it!
Hi Jennifer. Can you please give a demonstration on how to cut several earrings (one design) at one time on the Cricut Maker. For example, if I wanted to cut out a design of a star and wanted to cut maybe 8 or more at one time; how would I set it up, how would I do it? Please demonstrate for me. Thanks!!!!!!
Hi Bee! You can right click on the design you like and a menu will come up. Select "Duplicate" and you will have another of the exact same design. When you hit "Make It", Design Space automatically configures your mats to save space make the most of your materials. Hope this helps!
thanks for this video. I always thought that leather could only be cut on the maker. Since I have the Explore Air 2 I didn't think this was possible, but thanks to you I know it is. : )
This is beautiful…can we use same technique for fabric earrings ? I sew clothes for myself and would love if my cricut can cut matching earrings.. Thanks for all you do!!
Hi and thank you for watching! That's a wonderful idea! Here is the link to my blog post on cutting fabric that may be helpful to you, jennifermaker.com/cut-fabric-with-cricut-explore-maker/ 💗
I used cricut faux leather and another brand. Both feel a bit thin and don't stay flat. What do you think could be used to reinforce besides doubling the faux leather or using wood?
Thank you! Your video has been the best one so far. I am new at making earrings and have been searching and searching for a how-to video and got the best information from yours
Hi Jennifer, I’m a jewelry beader for the last 10 years and I have a cricut explorer #2 now. I have seen these type of earrings for awhile and love them. Found your tutorial yesterday and wanted to know what types of faux vinyl can be cut on the explorer. I bought a sample pack and there is a variety of thickness in this pack, plain, embossed, fine glitter and chunky glitter. Can I use all of these? Thank you for the help.
You should be able to cut all of those! Just test small cuts so you can ensure you have your machine set to cut all the different thicknesses and types. :)
I love the faux leather earrings and I'm trying to make some for my girls. The first set turned out good, but when I went to make more, my machine bunches the faux leather. I've tried every suggestion on the internet. How do I solve this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I want to do a front and back for the earring with the leather, so I would do one set with leather face down with mirror on and another one with leather face up without mirror, correct?
Thanks for the tutorial. I wish that I could get more instructions on using the Cricut. Can you please explain why you used the plastic over the leather & foil. Beautiful work!!!!!!!
I've made dozens of earrings but I prefer a longer french hook wire earring and am having trouble finding the longer ones (these have more wire down the back of the ear). I also have 4mm jump rings, but I think 6mm would work better. Thanks!
Newbie here. Love your videos! I am wanting to make feather earrings with the fringe down the side. Do you have a tutorial on cutting fringe on faux leather?
We have a tutorial about making tassels, which are nothing more than fringe rolled up, Pam! Take a look here: 🥰 jennifermaker.com/faux-leather-keychain-tassels/

I can honestly say this is the best/most informative/least boring video i have seen up to now about cricut items. Well done, realy. And thank you
Totally agree!!!!

So happy to learn my Explore can do this. These are so cute and on my to-do list for Christmas gifts.
Wonderful!

Oh my gosh! Just unboxed my cricut maker 3 with you and this was my first project and gosh 🤩🤩🤩 THANK YOU!!
thank for this amazing tutorial! Ike leather earrings, but I didn't know how great they could turn out! thanks again, -Maragret.
You are so welcome!
Just got around to watching this one today. I am
Amazed and the intricate cutting the cricut was
Capable of.
This is the first time I see this particular video, the earrings are gorgeous!
So glad you like it! 💗
I love the earrings but I do think I’ll size down a bit. The designs are so fun!! Thanks Jen!
Yeah, they turned out big. I don't wear earrings so I didn't estimate the size very well initially.
Also where can I find different and unique faux leather styles and colors? Thanks
I don’t wear earrings myself but these would be great gifts. TFS!
Thank you so much, Jennifer. These are awesome!!! I can't wait to try making them. Your tutorials are sooooo helpful, especially with new cricut owners.
You are so welcome, April! 😍

Thanks again for another great tutorial. Look forward to the next project
More to come!
One great thing about these earrings is that they are so light weight!
True! 😃
You should make a video on debossing on leather!
Thanks for the suggestion! 🌸
Didn't realize my explore could cut leather. Awesome.
I love this project. I can't wait to get a Cricut to make some. The earrings turned out so beautiful. I didn't know you could do things like this with the Cricut. Thanks so much for the tutorial.
You are so welcome! Enjoy!
Incredible!! I’m learning even more things you can do with a Cricut!! Thank you!
Happy to help!
Thank you very much Jennifer
.
You are so welcome!
Can say enough about your skill. Just awesome.
Awww..thank you!
I made the faux leather earrings when I first got my Cricut but learning about the foil on top is life changing, lol, tfs.
Such a beautiful project Jennifer! It looks like the faux leather would curl instead of staying flat though?
Thanks for the tutorial. I did not know about the jump rings. What a difference that made. LOL
I like this! I hadn't thought of adding foil to the leather
Isn't that a cool effect? 😍
It definitely looks more copper than rose gold. Very pretty!
Isn't it! I love them! :)
You make it look so easy. Thank you! On my list to do for Christmas gifts.
I love your projects your pages & way of explaining...thanks for the inspiration
You are so welcome!
Thank you Jennifer! Amazing tutorial.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Jennifer! The earrings are beautiful!
Jennifer, can you please make a video of the leather knot earrings that is the craz today? Please
Thank you so much for the files. I just happened across your site and am really enjoying it.
Thanks for the tutorial. I am a newbie and I subscribed to your blog. Great stuff! Can't wait to make some different things!

You are so welcome, Sharon! Please, do, try out that Easy Press! You will LOVE it!!! 😍
So pretty
Thanks so much!
Excellent! Thanks Jennifer.
I love this and thank you for giving it to us. I flipped one of the plain hearts so they will look the same on both ears if that makes sense.
This is a great series you are doing. Thanks
Looks fun. Can't wait to get an easy press so I can try it.
Have fun! They are a lot of fun to make!
Would love to see a video of these with wood for earrings.
Here is one with wood! 💜 jennifermaker.com/cricut-wood-veneer-earrings/
Thank you so much.. you are my blessing today.. God bless you

Thank you for this I’m thinking about purchasing a circut and you’ve made me have so much confidence thus far
If it's in your budget, Rylee, I hope you do! It's a game changer!!! 🥰

I've been looking for something to make with the leather vinyl I've been keeping! Thank you!

@@JenniferMaker Thank you for quick reply !!
This is something I'm excited to try when I get a Cricut!!!😁
They are SO fun to make!
I used cricut faux leather and another brand. Both feel a bit thin and don't stay flat. What do you think could be used to reinforce besides doubling the faux leather or using wood?
These are made with Cricut brand faux leather. I think doubling it up would work fine and give it a nice finish.
Thank you! Your video has been the best one so far. I am new at making earrings and have been searching and searching for a how-to video and got the best information from yours

I don't have a heat press can I use a regular household iron?.. Love your videos thank you so much 💖 can you also use permanent vinyl?
I would like to know what iron settings\timings to use too please :)
Good for gifts. Thanks.
They definitely make great gifts! :)
These look fun and easy. I can’t wait to make some.
You should totally try it out, Maria! :)
Question: Is it poosible to use cardstock to make earrings? What would you use to treat them? Is there a way you could do a video on it?
I wouldn't recommend it as they wouldn't hold up.💗
@@JenniferMaker From what I have been researching, using Diamond glaze, ot a mod podge hard sealer, or a UV resin works well to protect them.
cutting this style its very hard . they come out perfect with cricut for sure
awesome tutorial
I love the faux leather earrings and I'm trying to make some for my girls. The first set turned out good, but when I went to make more, my machine bunches the faux leather. I've tried every suggestion on the internet. How do I solve this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would like to make this for christmas presents
These would be perfect Christmas presents!
Beautiful n happy holidays
These are so cute, can't wait to make some for gifts!
Have fun! Can't wait to see what you'll make! :)
Thanks so much for this video. I just got my cricut and have been looking for projects to make.
These look so lovely!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you so much Jennifer!
Thanks for the tutorial. I wish that I could get more instructions on using the Cricut. Can you please explain why you used the plastic over the leather & foil. Beautiful work!!!!!!!
the plastic is basically what seals the iron in, once its heated up you just peel it off
could you use adhesive backed vinyl instead of the iron on kind?
You learn more from your failures then from your successes!
Truth!!! :)
I've made dozens of earrings but I prefer a longer french hook wire earring and am having trouble finding the longer ones (these have more wire down the back of the ear). I also have 4mm jump rings, but I think 6mm would work better. Thanks!
You can make your own ear hooks to your preference. I do all the time. Internet is full of talented people!
@@cathymiller4489 Thanks for the tip, Cathy. I really didn't think of doing it myself, you are absolutely right.
How do you make your Design? Which software do you use to create these earrings?
These are super cute!
Aren't they?! I love these! :)
beautiful got to make this for my sister
Have fun!

hello Jennifer,
Can you use iron-on to the earrings. Love all of your videos Thank You so much for these videos they are so helpful
Yes you can!
Can you make a video on how to make wood earrings on cricut?
Beautiful idea. Any particular reason why you did not make small hole at top of earrings for the earing hooks?
Can't wait to try these.
Hope you enjoy
These are so lovely!

Great earrings!
Thank you! They are a lot of fun to make! ♥️
