- Today we had a special guest Kevin that donated his beautiful 2019 Dodge Challenger Hellcat for a full AMSOIL engine flush treatment. We used 7qts of AMSOIL Signature Series 0W-40 which is the best. Hamlet is good friends with Kevin and is helping him take the best care of his vehicle.
AMSOIL Engine Flush is what I use whenever I change a vehicle over to AMSOIL oil on the first time because it helps clean the Rings and oil cooler ports & any oil coking from turbos or superchargers. The Engine Flush is very helpful with diesel engines.

On these hellcats there a drain bolt for the oil cooler I didn’t see you guys drain the cooler, it’s very important you drain that as well especially when adding the flush fluid, not to much comes out but still very important, not many people know about it but just trying to spread knowledge

We have to look at Oil Filters. Amsoil Filter looks Strong and Good Quality. Compared to that other cheap V filter.
Yeah the OEM style oil filters have a lot less medium and they hold less contaminants about 1/4 of the contaminants in a Celluloid paper filter
Plus the Amsoil oil filter flows with less restriction for better efficiency filtration fuel mileage and cold start protection

amsoil is great stuff, many independent tests confirm. but that oil filter is looks like it could void a warranty. All SRT/Mopar cars have high flow oil pumps, even the lowly neon SRT4. And all Dodge literature requires that you use the high flow SRT filter or equivalent for maintenance. And if your going to spend time in the high RPMS with that beast, oil starvation looks probable.
I’m over in Australia and amsoil isn’t available at our conventional auto stores :(

I wouldn't do engine flash especially on a hellcat. Hellcat engine produces a lot of heat more then a normal v8 n to do a engine flash you asking for the engine seals to wear out faster. If the car have 100k mile or 150k mile. The synthetic oil is enough to lubricant and clean the motor. I use amsoil oil but no engine flush
Yeah you'll notice a big difference when you try it It gets a lot of the carbon out of the oil cooler ports also around the oil cooler if it's a turbo vehicle it really helps the turbos so it's very important on high performance vehicles or turbo diesels.
I recommend you try it one of these days you'll be surprised.

Hi eben! I watched a lot of your flush videos and they seem to work really good but I have a question. They say not to put the engine under load with the flush in the crankcase because it could damage your engine. So... aren't you technically also harming your engine by letting it idle as well? Maybe you are hurting it much less but still I don't like the idea of letting my car run for a long time with really thinned out oil. Is this an issue?
It's not an issue because the initial where is on cold start and the flesh is not circulated when you start it so once it's running you just don't need a thick film of oil because there's no load in the motor so the where is very very low.
I do understand though that if you would run the motor or put a lot of heat in it you'll send it out even more and you could have a problem but 15 minutes isn't long enough to do anything
If you do not want to do an engine flush the best thing to do is do a filter change at 3000 Miles and the Amsoil Signature Series will basically melt all the carbon out of your engine the only thing is the oil will get dark very quick if you don't flush it so it's more cost-effective to just flush it from the beginning it's dead of replacing a bunch of oil filters

Yeah I just found that out another subscriber message me and he sent me a video with it in it and it looks like we left about 5 ounces of old oil in there which really is no big deal but since we were taking our time we should have done it.
It looks like the drain is on the front passenger side near the front chin skirt underneath the belly plastic belly pan

I didn't know they have one that can be drained.
Its under the Skid plate that you take out i don't own a hellcat but i seen UA-cam videos that all hellcats and demon have a oil cooler that drains a little bit of oil not much.

Eben, you should invite a cute girl and ask her to wet the filter with one or two fingers (three is better), then ask her if it's her first time to be filled up with Amsoil, then let her engine dripping slowly its liquid, then empty your gold liquor inside her engine but without protection. let her feel the liquid with her fingers.
