Very cool interview! Thank you Mr. Foster and Mr. Nasmith for taking the time! PS. I too, hope that future updates don't include non-canonical info from Rings of Power, though the suggestion of a separate book makes a lot of sense! Updates for Unfinished Tales sound very cool though ❤
Awesome interview, you guys are doing amazing work getting these guests on. Bob and Ted were great! I loved the suggestions to add only entries from Unfinished Tales and Children of Hurin to the new version. Think both Robert and the final product will benefit from reading the room on this one to add only those two titles and not the other great tales (due to it being incomplete, inconsistent or lacking a single definitive version) or the sacrilegious tv show (due to it being bad and not from Tolkien's pen). Moreover it was very informative in respect of the news that Foster is now working on a new complete version. I will honestly admit that that does dissuade me from buying the new illustrated version, as I would rather wait for an actually complete guide to arrive. Was quite shocked to learn that at this stage no content changes other than page references and illustrations have been made since the printing of the 1978 UK hardcover that I already own. Thanks for the video! PS I hope Bob got his money from the widow...

Great interview
Very interesting conversation. Thank you Mr. Foster, thank you Mr. Nasmith
Absolutely gripping talks.
Got one coming in from the UK! Glad to see this edition get updated.
Thanks for organising this interesting chat. Blackwell's in the UK are selling the book for £23 which is a great price.
Awesome
Interesting that he Robert Foster wanted to include content not created by Tolkien from the TV show into the booK?
💛
The booger hurts my soul.
