Niggas that carry them purses/ Fanny packs
Bro did a What's Inside? To his dreads Lmao
Have you tried clarifying shampoo? I don’t have locs but that stuff seems to work for me, especially the bottle from Kristen Ess
I had anal intercourse with your Mother
not the point of your vid, but your voice is so calming! Thanks for your content. It chills me out. lol
At my shop in Starke, FL, it's my experience dreds are usually FILTHY, to the extent I refuse to serve these people with the fine art I provide as a master barber. My only black clients are those who wear short, clean haircuts where the entire scalp is easily accessible for inspection of lice, fleas, ticks, bedbugs, etc, etc.
you want a cookie or sum? 💀
Who tf asked for this bs information
I bet you don't get a lot of customers huh?
Kudos to you, this filthy 'hairstyle' needs to disappear off the planet.
as if black people are the only ones who can have dreads. get real racist scum🙄
Yo dreads thinning
I want you to do my hair lol
Is build up inevitable
Yes ur gonna have some type of buildup from ur scalp sebum and dandruff but you can prevent a lot of it by using the right products and keeping ur hair clean along with detoxing every few months. Also cover ur hair cuz lint buildup is the most common type
@@luvvhatred thanks I wash once a month might change to twice a month bc I have recently seen a lot build up and I suffer from dry scalp so I used medical shampoo
@@doppoorochi4464 No.If your scalp is healthy & you avoid products from the start you won't ever get build up.
@@doppoorochi4464 yeah just wash as often as ur hair needs. If u have dandruff you probably want to wash more often though
Maybe if you get retwists & use certain products. There will probably be product build up. But I've had semi freeform locs for years and haven't had build up. But I don't use much products & make sure to wash my hair regularly.
I'm 7 mos in with new dreads. Any videos on bunching and lumpy locks? I've been dealing with lot of lumpy and curling dreads. Any recommendations? I'm Native American ( straight hair)❤
That’s just budding that’s a natural stage in locs that’s a good thing it means your hair is locking on it’s own
Looking up this video because I desperately want to cut one of my locks to assess how they look inside😂😂 and I KNOW they look worse than yours
yo gunther i tried the crochet method and it worked but after like 2 weeks they felt itchy so i combed them out and somehow the front was shorter then the back idk why so i got a haircut so its the same length also i know your gonna say i used it wrong but im in the uk and i cant sign up for ur classes can u make some in the uk also i have straight hair and im gonna try 2 strand twist with mango locking gel is that a good idea to get my dreads to look like Trent Alexander Arnold Thanks
The itch comes wit havin dreadlocks so if u don’t wanna deal wit get some anti itch oil or sumn, when combing out LOCKED dreads ur bound to lose length but i think the front ended up being shorter cuz u might’ve been too rough combing them out but I could be wrong.
bro if ur hair feels itchy it means eitha 2 things dandruff or growth
If you did the crochet method you do realize you’re able to wash your hair right?
I love your hair style man 🔥❤️
Bro his hair is my dream dreads
Have you ever thought abt making a video of u dyeing your hair idk the color but I wanna dye my hair and I wanna know how to do it the right way from u fam
if i want skinner locs, what should i do? they are not fully matured i dont think, ive had them for 6 months
Separate them, better if u get someone to do it since they can make them more even but if they aren’t that loc’d u might be able to not use scissors but u might need scissors
Naw if you want skinner locs when you get a retwist have them palm roll the whole loc doing this every time you retwist will make them smaller facts i have loc and had them for 8 years over 100 locs waist length
If u want skinnier locs but don’t wanna restart ur progress then consistently get them styled n I suggest when they’re damp u palm roll em urself
question, can i do a apple cider vinegar wash on starter locs?
dont, waiti until theyre matured, just wash it normally once a month
Nah it’ll unravel erry loc lol, from personal experience I suggest every 6-8 months
Locs are supposed to unravel during starter loc stages. You continue to wash your hair as normal. This is the reason hen you first start locs, you should have a professional to do frequent re twists until they are more mature. Apple cider vinegar is not necessary on starter locs….just a great clarifying shampoo
Need a detox
keep it up 🔥🔥

Sleeping with something on my head trigger migraines with nose bleed. What should I do with my locs at night?
Thanks in advance if you see and answer this comment/post.
Have you tried adjustable bonnets that you tie yourself? I can't stand one size fits all bonnets but the ones I can tie myself allow me to get a comfortable fit. If still not an option satin pillowcases, satin sheets, and satin pajama tops will go a long way. Make sure you have a bunch of lint rollers as well to periodically de-lint everything your hair comes in contact with.
Have you tried the neck gaiters? It's a thin cloth covering you can use as a mask or head band. I used them as a face covering when covid hit. Now I use them as a head band. It covers the whole length of my starter locs and is light weight. Not too tight, but tight enough that is stays on and keeps my retwist in place.
All I use is a silk pillow case I don’t own any head stuff or Durags and it been working fine my hair grows perfectly fine it dose not damage your hair or make it unravel or get all messy
@@jalanahinshaw4199 I've just gotten one, will see how it work .
@@jalanahinshaw4199 I just got one, so far no headaches.
Love yo dreads
I'm trying to tell y'all dawn works wonders
😂.Are you serious
@@locsman for buildup yes I've had dreads half my life and have had and maintained the cleanest dreads possible because I'd use dawn once a week. I stg people always ask me how I keep my dreads so tight and clean and when I tell them dawn they think I'm stupid. But it works
This is true!
